I still haven't been able to find the Cinderella Man HD DVD at my local Target. Would any of you be willing to pick me up a copy if you can find it for the clearance price at Target? I'd be happy to look for any item you can't find locally.

I think it actually was only for a certain time before they took the title out of the inventory altogether. Good luck though to anyone who can manage to score one this far after it first went on clearance.

Some Targets still have them, at least I know of a few that did a couple of weeks ago. I had my local store do a search for nearby stores that have it in stock but the closest one was about 100 miles away. Some stores have actually gotten it in stock after the clearance price was announced. Apparently my local store did and then went out of stock in between my visits.
Why would you want it? lol
...because its funny. Its not like I just bought BloodRayne on HD-DVD or something. If you didn't know, people do have different tastes in movies.
Beerfest is hilarious. I ordered it for $20.99 from Amazon.
Its apparently not, says 'dragoncollector' up there. We should feel ashamed.

Beerfest was hilarious maybe dragoncollector just has a ping pong paddle up his butt.
Bleh. Nothing worth picking up.
Agreed. Love the idea of the deal, but there's nothing involved that I want...again.
Stinks that there are only 2 with rebate. And they are on the same rebate form - so you can only get 1 rebate. :whistle2:(

Matthew
Well, these b1g1 have only been Sony titles, so of course its only going to be one rebate. If you want to get any blu-ray though, its still cheaper at buy.com w/ google checkout than BB's b1g1.

Pinoy - Ah, that makes sense. :)

Yes, I did get my first Blu-Ray movie in today. $2 for Good fellas! from buy.com woohoo!! Now, let's see if the kids go to sleep so I can watch it with my wife... Here's to hoping...

So how did you get $17.50 off?
Amazon.com has $5 off any order for some weird reason. I just got The Departed for $22.XX shipped.
The same is happening here and it's working on preorders. Between the $5 and my 10% off I got the NIN HD-DVD for $10.70 shipped and Payback for $12.95.

Yep, I took advantage of that and got some good blu ray deals.

Casino Royale for $22 shipped. :D

Shipping semi kills the deals on cheaper hd-dvds. Though Jet Li's Fearless is $22.95 shipped. Tempting, but ill hold off for a bit.

Newegg seems to have better HD-DVD prices than Video Universe (most non-combo discs are $20.50 max), and free shipping. I bought Sleepy Hollow & Fear/Loathing in Las Vegas. Not quite as good as Buy.com w/ GCO; but i used up all my credit cards to make new accounts with.

Me too. I loved that google check out but sadly I'm out of credit cards now...

In the Fry's ad today (at least in San Jose, may depend on where you live), they have some BOGO deals on Blu-Ray movies. Now I dont know if you can mix and match but in the fine print, it says "Second title must be of equal value".

*edit* Titles must be the same price for the B1G1 to work (so either 2 $19.99 titles or 2 $24.99 titles)

$19.99
50 First Dates
The Big Hit
House of Flying Daggers
The 5th Element
Hitch
A Knights Tale
Into the Blue
Momento
Stealth
xXx
Black Hawk Down
Tears of the Sun
SWAT
Resident Evil Apocalypse

$24.99
Click
Silent Hill
Underworld Evolution
Little Man
Monster House
Benchwarmers

Ok, I just came back from Frys and tried to buy Underworld Evolution ($24.99) and Resident Evil Apocalypse ($19.99) and no go. Both titles had to be the same price for it to work. They didnt have Click so I had to go with my backup choice, Silent Hill.:bomb:

Is this deal still good today? Where on Amazon does it show? I just pre-ordered Casino Royale today, and all I get is 10% off.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I did get Best Buy to price match. Was fairly easy. I just asked if they matched prices, showed them a physical ad from the newspaper and they took care of it. They even matched it down from $24.99 to $19.99 and I still got one free. I went there so I could get my reward zone points...

Some people think its B1G1 on ALL Blurays for some reasons? Anyone find any proof of that?

Its not. I have yet to buy a BR movie from this deal....seems like really lackluster movies and transfers. BR fans are going nuts and buying all of these even though the got ripped in reviews.

The only one on the list in which I have seen with a glowing review was Black Hawk Down

Dang, tried to do that B3G10% off for a year thing @ Amazon. According to the details, you had to buy the 3 discs before December 31st 2006. Might want to remove it from the OP.

I didn't realize I had gotten two of them off the list, but at Fry's in Duluth, GA this morning, the girl at the cash register said that it applied to any of the blu-ray movies priced at $19.99 or $24.99 that they just needed to be the same price.

I'm not sure I believe that now I realize I got two on the list, but I was wondering had anyone else tried it? Based on a post a few above this, I assume no. I'd like to know now I'm thinking about it. :/
So, I just snagged a HD-DVD player.

Any good B&M deals going on that I should be on the look out for?
Most HD-DVDs are $12.99-$17.99 used @ EB/GS/MS. Best deals to be had are on Buy.com IMO. $11.30-$14 shipped on most hd-dvds with GCO (you can use the same credit card as many times as you want, you just need to use a different email address for each purchase).

Forgot to mention with GCO.

Check Frys and Target...most of the HD DVDs are $19.99 giving you a fix retail fix if you want to check out some titles.

I thought Google Checkout started to catch on to multiple accounts and cancelling some orders. I know I read that on DVDtalk.com at least.

I think Target has the best B&M prices though, as I never saw a used one at EBGames/GameStop.

Gamestop generally has prices equal to Target, with a much bigger selection... I hated the store before I got my HD player
