Buy.com $48.84 shipped with GC and amazon has it for like $55 with free shipping.
Let's all celebrate the cheerleader turning 18 today by buying Heroes S1 HD DVD from fye.com for $53 + applicable tax shipped after $10 rebate.

Coupon code WELCOMECCTEN
Props to liquiddvds from slickdeals
Well, after following the logic on this one for at least a couple weeks, I'm in at Fry's. After all, with some places having it for $100, $62.99 plus tax after rebate sounds pretty good. And though I've NEVER seen the series, I'm anxious to see what all the hubbub is all about. :)

i have a $10 SoE I might use to pick it up for 7.98. Hmm Movies or Games.

FYE has The Office season 3 for $24.xx after rebate but I'm going to hold off based on the fact that release day will either have a screw up or some type of promotion like the severence package last year. I got the second season last year for $17.xx because CC screwed up the price with the first season

Thanks. I grabbed it from the WB Store along with Alexander. Total was just over $60 shipped.

Not an incredible deal, but Family Video has Masters of Horror Season 1 Vol 1 for 17.51 shipped after $5 off coupon NEWPGMEM

http://www.familyvideo.com/catalog/...ducts_id=277515

FYE has MoH S1 Vol 1 & 2 for $17.54 each after 10% off code WELCOMECCTEN (Free shipping after $25). I'll be getting some more credit pretty soon, so ill probably go the FYE route.

Volume 1

Volume 2

Also, with the 10% off code, The Spiderman Blu-Ray Trilogy will be only $52.39 after $7 rebate.

http://www.fye.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=21572115&categoryId=55006

For any flippers here; NBA Starting Five ($1.99 @ EB/GS) is still worth $12-16 @ FYE. EB's store locator is pretty accurate, however FYE only accepts games with Case/manual.

not bad on spidey.... do they charge sales tax? and do they charge your card right away? i prob wouldnt even send for a $7 rebate..

im suprised they even have this fairly priced as all other hd stuff are overpriced

Unfortunately they do charge sales tax (forgot about that). FYE usually has really good prices on their site. In store varies. The average used HD-DVD/BR is $15.99, lowest ive seen is Fast & Furious HD for $9.99. The deals were even better when they had the $10 off $10 with GCO.

If you get lucky with flipping the game i posted, you could basically get the Spiderman Trilogy for $8 total cost.

Not sure how legit this site is, but Mr. Rebates has a 3% cash back with FYE.

I'm going in for double dips soon with the GCO. I'm planning on Weeds Season 1 and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Blu-ray and 2-3 DVD's I'm missing.

Sweet! I'm going to order Spidey BR from FYE. Hopefuly they ship early like they did with 300. I still have some store credit ($55) I just got from some CDs I traded in.

Anyone know the condition that used HD-DVD movies are shipped to you? I've heard horror stories from gamers that have ordered used games online from Gamestop and received missing cases and manuals. I just want to know how FYE ships their used movies (with case is all I really care about)

Thats Gamestop. FYE is incredibly anal about the condition of their discs. They once denied me because the CASE had a disc cleaner residue on it. Ive ordered online from them many times and the only problem i had was a case got crushed (luckily, the disc was fine). They sometimes use stickers that dont come off easily, but some goo-gone will fix it right up. All their dvds should have the case & cover(YMMV on chapter selection lists or any other random inserts). It sucks being charged Tax, but they usually have a lot of good deals, i just pray that the $10 off $10 GCO comes back for them soon.

Guyver, CC's prices are still lower than the SRP, so technically it could be worse ;-).

They really take old cds? and I have a ton I would trade in if true.

the thing is that its out of "buyers impulse" buy. Atleast bb are usually only $5 over amazon.. but cc tends to match msrp

example they have 300 hd dvd for 39.99. (27.95 on amazon)

they also have dawn of the dead for 29.99 (19.95 on amazon)

uhhh...ok wth happened here..

I place an order for the spiderman trilogy thinking I was going to get it for 64.59 after the 10% discount but before the $7 MIR. Shipping is free for budget shipping. When I press the final order button, I come out with a total of $68.07, which is because of an addition of $3.48 for standard shipping now (as opposed to budget shipping). WTF happened here? My first order at FYE online and they try to fuck me over already?

It shows as free shipping when i try. During the last checkout page there is an option to change your shipment method. Make sure you have the right one selected.

man i hate rebates..especially ones $10 or less, dont forget sales tax..

if it gets a good review.. may order from amazon with the free 2 day..

Pretty good deal on Spider-Man trilogy. Just finished ordering for $62 and with the rebate it should come out to $55 not bad.

I wish we still had a FYE in SoCal...seems like the only place to trade in DVDs is Blockbuster as EB gives pennies for them, Warehouse Music went out, FYE went out, etc. Grr.

Seriously, I had six HD DVDs, and 5 GCN games I was trying to trade on here, but couldn't. So I took them to EB Games and got like $30 for all of them with the edge card. :( They were all good movies too. I'm not going there anymore, everything is over-priced, and the stores are always a mess.

u guys must live deep in SoCal. There are 2 FYEs near me, 2 Suncoasts and 1 still operating as a Wherehouse. Granted they are about 15 mins away, still not bad.

Thanks for pointing that out tayaf69 I was trying to find more info on if both spiderman 1 and spiderman 2 would have any special features but I guess not. I just cancelled my order and am just going to wait to see any deals just for spiderman 3 blu-ray.

Hmm, i didnt know that about the Spiderman Trilogy. I think ill just buy Spiderman 3 and rent the first two movies on BR at Blockbuster if i feel like seeing them.
It shows as free shipping when i try. During the last checkout page there is an option to change your shipment method. Make sure you have the right one selected.
That's the thing; it showed as free shipping on my summary page before ordering. $0.00 charge for the budget shipping. I even checked around the site because I didn't know there was free shipping for the item.

no problem. I felt like speaking out since I was looking forward to getting this as well until I found out that they ditched the features.
i honestly dont care about the extras. they usually just port over the dvd extras anyways...
For the high amount per disc they are charging they better DAMN well include the extras. Ported from the DVD or not they better.
No offense to any of you, but the spider-man trilogy would be an impulse buy for anyone, considering 1 and 2 have NO special features at all.

http://www.dvdtown.com/news/details-on-spider-man-1-and-2-on-blu-ray/4691

You do realize they will release these again in a year with loaded disks. I guess I'll wait considering there are no amazing deals for it. I prefer to get my money's worth...
Give Sony a little credit. You get Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 2.1 on one disc.

Maybe that was a big deal back in 2000, when T2 had 3 different cuts and Abyss had both theatrical and director's cut, but considering seamless branching has been around on dvd for 8 years, its not that big of a deal.

Has anyone got Heroes from FYE yet? I got a shipping notice and tracking number early last week, but I can't get their tracking number to work, and all I can get from their customer service is automated responses.

Yes...I ordered mine on Tuesday (8/21) and got it on Friday (8/24) or maybe Sat.

Does Crank normally come in the 2-disc case even though it's only 1 disc? Wanna cover my base incase I have to make an exchange and they start asking me for a non-existent second disc.
