High school girls have Pregnancy Pact: 17 knocked up so far.

" Strollers mingle seamlessly in school hallways among cheerleaders and junior ROTC."

Perhaps these girls are wishing to start their own commune like that crazy place in Texas.

"15 will get you 20"

This makes sense because more and more teenage girls are waking up to the fact that they don't have to pay for their babies.

Instead of looking for a responsible man and planning their family's economic future, they can just throw in with the politically-motivated "every baby is a miracle" crowd and rely on government handouts to bail out their selfish, short-sighted, and irresponsible decision to make a child they can't support financially on their own. After all, using contraception is a sin, having sex feels good, and babies are cute - throw in the fact you don't have to pay for it and in the mind of these teenage girls the decision makes itself.

Hansel and Gretel is a metaphorical story about what happened to unplanned kids in the middle ages. I have a feeling that "unplanned miracles" didn't happen quite as often back then.

Jack Thompson came out with a statement saying something about the girls watching all the coverage on Fable 2, seeing how cool video game pregnancy is and wanting to try it out for themselves...

Sad thing, i can so picture that being real.

QFT. My mom works for the DSS here in my county in NY, and you wouldn't believe the number of people on welfare who are this type of trash. Especially in NY, where you can get money for pretty much anything. Go and bitch about how you don't have a job, they'll find you one and "check" to make sure you're keeping up with your "job," and continue to give you money for the rest of your life.

I wish I could have a baby. I may be a guy, but I'll find a way. . .then I'll never have to work again.

Agreed on all of that. There needs to be a serious review on child support, welfare, mens rights and a whole lot of other things.

Last time I banged a high school girl... oh... wait... nevermind.

Kidding... but all kidding aside, I knew a guy who was 25 who was dating a 14 year old.

Well... I didn't know him... I knew of him.

Did you "know" him in the sense that you are him?

I kid, I kid.

Seriously though, I'm stunned this didn't happen in Florida. Glad to hear that one of the dads might be a 24 year old homeless man. I can't imagine the effort it must take to find yourself homeless in the prime of your life. Well played sir.

I don't think this is that bad, this way it guarantees enough people to work at Fast Food places, gas stations, etc. In order for society to work the best for the smart people it has to maintain the shape of a pyramid for stability.

Ummm.... no. Not him. I unfortunately have always had a flavor for older women (not like older older)... but a year or two older.

My fiance is two years older.

I love this:
Gloucester is a fishing town and has been going through an economic decline in recent years. That’s led to cuts in teachers, services and some health classes at local schools.
As if the teachers and health services and classes are supposed to be responsible for the actions of these idiots. How about the girls and their parents' terrible job of raising them?

"Some girls seemed more upset when they weren't pregnant than when they were,"
Oh, yeah. You're going to look back and be SO happy you had that little boat anchor when you did.
I hate people sometimes.
I hate people in general.

Especially when I go out to eat at a lower-mid price restaurant and there's some mom or couple with young kids who are screaming and crying or running and jumping around. I guess if you can't afford a babysitter, the rest of the world has to deal with your lack of parenting skills and suffer while you ignore your child or offer a laughable "no. stop. look at all the people staring at you" and the kid screams and throws a fit for hours on end. That's true class, right there. I

That was a Georgia case. Genarlow Wilson had consensual oral sex with some girl and was given 10 years in prison. The term was voided early this year after he spent about 2½ years up the creek and he's out now.
I'm glad he's out. That case was such a clusterfuck.

For real.

Speaking of which, I have Grand Jury this week.
Its the last of my the six months. I enjoy it, as it's very educactional and some of the stuff we hear is mind-blowingly hilarious. Other stuff is ...hard to deal with.
Every one of the consensual statutory cases we hear we dismiss, unless the guy is way older than the girl (or vice versa). It's an absolute waste of taxpayers' money to be sending that stuff to trial.
