Took the kids to Burger King last night. Where they got toys from this summer's hottest movie.....

Iron Man 2

Seriously? How the fuck do you still have toys left over from a year ago? Where's our Thor mini-hammers to hit things with?

Hott.

Does the qualifier "technician" mean what it does in my field, that is, the main dude's bitch?

Amazon is matching the Best Buy Infamous deal. Infamous 2 and Motorstorm Apocalypse (or other newish PS3 games if your so inclined) for 50% off. :whistle2:k

You will, someday.

That sucks, I wish they'd make a better infamous 2 deal.

Speaking of, I wish mypoints would hurry up and send my $25 gift cert.

I think TrashKan said he played Duke last week and I like that it's so bad because a little piece of him is going to die.

It was great! It really reminded me of all those movies I watched as a kid that involved aliens and little kids. A lot of it reminded me of http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089114/

One thing did bother me though. They go through all that trouble of making the movie feel like it's really taking place in the 70s, then when it comes...well...lets just say, the use of CG bullshit is disappointing, but it doesn't seem like they can make a movie anymore without CGing something.

Worst part of the movie? How hard people were laughing at the Zoo Keeper trailer. "HUHDURRRRR I HAVE TA SEE DAT!"

Well that's good to know.

Maybe if LivingSocial or Groupon put out another $4 movie ticket deal I'll see it.I think the last time I paid $4 for a movie ticket we saw Honey I Shrunk the Kids -_-

Mak, went down to York West yesterday afternoon, and for Vanquish, they had no 360 copies. There may still be one for ps3 though.

It is such bull shit that the Rock Band 2 Export cost fucking $10. Also, why the hell does some of the old songs have to cost so much to download. Greedy fucking bastards.

Red, sweet. I hate the dry shit.
The Super 8 trailer looked completely uninteresting to me.
I thought the same when I saw it. The movie won't disappoint you, I don't think.

For the past couple years I've been strictly drinking dry Red stuff. Merlot, and Shiraz. And even then I just buy whatever's cheapest or on sale that week. Forget all that locally grown stuff.

I used to think that until I tried it. Now I can't get enough shrimp.

Dry is awful. At least the sweet just tastes like juice with alcohol in it.

Dry white is where it's at. I stick to Chardonnay, Riesling, and assorted table whites on the drier side.

Drink too much of the sweet stuff and the hangover will make anything you previously encountered look like a relaxing day at the beach. :)

I have a bottle of dry in the fridge right now and so far it's the only wine to give me a hangover. That could be due to the higher alcohol level in it though.

So far, I like Red Cat and Red Zeppelin. I have a bottle of Cranberry Bog in the fridge that I haven't tried yet.
I think you should check your taste buds if you think a riesling its not sweet.
Dry Reislings are pretty common in the Finger Lakes.

Red Cat is one of the few red wines I actually like... and it makes killer jello shots. ;)

Not to mention their Red Cat Jacuzzi and the Red Cat slushies. Hazlitt's winery is like 10 minutes from your parents' place, right?

For the true consieuur experience, I recmond Chocovine. Red wine and chocolate all in one delicious ghetto bottle.

Had a nice antipasto for dinner. Can't wait for the chocolate ice cream that my friend made... it's in the freezer calling my name.

Just finished up True Grit with Jeff Bridges. After seeing the original a while back, the new one does a really good job. I think the one with John Wayne did a bit better job exposition wise, especially early in the film, but the action scenes are a lot better in this one and the end is done better too IMO. Then again, all the action scenes in John Wayne movies involve people saying "AHhhhhhhhhhhhh" when they get shot.
