Ouch - Duke Nukem Forever w/ a 54 on Metacritic. It's right there with Kung Fu Panda 2 and Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do
We better put Trakan on suicide watch.
Super 8 was ok. I wouldn't watch it again.
I'm just about to head out to the theater to see it...This is not reassuring.

Not shocking...the demo was horrible. Couldn't even finish it.

Did anyone actually think Duke Nukem was going to be anything but shit? Some thick gamers goggles happening there. It would have been better served as a constant running gag then an actual game.

Now its just another shitty game that will be forgotten in days.

Seeing as how Borderlands was awesome, I thought Gearbox was going to make an awesome Duke. But it looks like they just polished the turd that the original company made 10 years ago.

Isn't that exactly what they said they were doing?

fuck you again Sony. After taking forever to download a nearly 2000 MB file it says its corrupted and I need to download it again.

I'm enjoying Alpha Protocol more than I should. At least on easy it isn't pull your hair out frustrating. Some mechnaics are just broken though. (The aiming, cover, lock picking/hacking).

I was pleasantly surprised with how quick my downloads went with the welcome back stuff. Infamous took about a little over an hour.
Does gamestop.com not allow you to see your area stores' stock of a particular product any more?
I think you have to look up the stores near you and then you can see a yes or no for instock, but not how many are in stock. It's way more complicated than it should be.

It also angers me that they don't have free shipping to store and won't make an effort to get a game for you that an individual store doesn't have in stock. The most help GS will give you is "the GS in _________ has it in stock 35 miles away."

I can't find where to see if it's in stock on this shitty new site. It used to be really fucking simple.

Why do such big fucking companies have such trouble making a simple, easy to use website? It's not that fucking hard.

The Availability button's still there for me. Used it yesterday to make sure the store near me still had Infamous 2.

Finding games is easy. Just find your game, and under it it'll say "want it in a hurry? pick it up @ store" you hover over it, press pre-owned or new, then enter your zip code on the next page and there you have it.

I think I finally lost thekeybladewars this time around. Shit really stings, and my eyes are about swollen shut. Last Friday we had a big talk for "closure", which I guess turned into her wanting to make things work and the next day she took me to the beach on a spontaneous trip. We skinny dipped, had sex in the water, had an amazing time that was topped off by just saying we should make it work. I tried to make it work, and I let her do her thing (which was a huge problem, since she had to lie about these things before which lead to us breaking up the first time and I was never cool with it since), but there was pretty much no effort on her side despite her saying we should "change and make things work". She just told me today it was a mistake and she never should've rushed it and now we're done for. It's like I've been hit with a baseball bat in the head several times and I'm slowly dying on the inside. :(

I honestly do not care if she reads this, but it's better telling people online who don't care rather than someone face to face who doesn't care. When it all comes down to it, I lost my eight year long girlfriend to Super Street Fighter IV, and it feels absolutely pathetic.

Yeah, I really should have my PS3 hooked up directly through my modem instead of a router but in my parent's house it isn't easy.

I guess my signal fucked up while downloading and it corrupted the download or some shit. Oh well, time to try again.

Damn, sorry to hear that brother. I hope things work out for you. If I could smoke I would dedicate a nice blunt to you.

Shit like that makes me glad, sometimes, that I don't have a lady friend.

Damn man. I don't know the whole story, but I'm really sorry. It pales in comparison, but when my girl of 3 years and I called it quits, it was pretty fucking rough. I'm sorry you have to do this.

That really blows man. Just hang in there and things will get better.

Damn, sorry to hear that tfn. 8 years is a long time for some stupid shit to get in the way, but that just goes to say what would happen if it had been something more serious. You'll be ok as long as you don't start hanging out with that jfd kid on the reg.
That Real Steel movie looks like the worst piece of garbage ever.
Haha. I was just about to come in here and say the same thing. They should have gotten Stallone and called it Rocky VII.
~~~~~
The whole Heat bench should be tossed.
LinkinPrime would probably see it if it had the Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots license.
My nephews broke my Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots today. They were only a couple years old, not the ones from when I was little.
Just got tickets to see Cirque du Soleil in two months. :B
huh?
New season of Curb Your Enthusiasm starts July 10th :whee:
HUH?!
I know what it is, I'm just not sure why you'd want to go. Real acrobatics, I get it, but it's a little queer.
You get discounted tickets or did you pay full price, because I know those tickets aren't $12 like the Ringling Bros.
A little queer? I don't really know what to say to that other than that it's kind of ridiculous. It looks like a really entertaining act. I've always wanted to see Cirque du Soleil.
I didn't pay for them.
fuckin Quebecois. :shudder:
People from Montreal are nice. And their Dunkin Donuts have maple cream filled donuts. :drool:
In my experience, they're all pretty much assholes. :lol:
Thanks dudes. :grouphug: Shit just happens and it didn't work out.
I wish I had a 40. :D
Did anyone make it to jfd's goth poetry reading last night?
I saw them setting up but it kept lagging for me. :cry:
Skipping work tomorrow so I can pick up the new pistol and be here for the new fridge delivery. Oh, and it's my wedding anniversary, didn't want to forget that too.
Trying to trash talk about Lebron James to the wife isn't working. I need male friends. (At least for occasions like this)
I don't really understand that last line, is it like when girls say they lost their boyfriends to WoW?
Either way, sorry to hear that man. In all seriousness, I've yet to feel anything worse than heartbreak.
