I was just at Hollywood Video, and this kid stopped me. I didn't recognize him,but I figured he was probably one of the skate punk type kids that I had met while drunk at Papa Joe's. It turns out that he just figured I'd help him out because I looked "punk" (apparently due to my Rancid shirt and studded bracelet, LOL).

Now I drink and smoke, but I didn't do either til age 19. I mean, I have bought beer for friends under 21 and cigarettes for 17 year olds, but a 10 year old drinking? That's fucked up. And they mentioned smoking pot.

That's California for ya.

Did he at least offer to pay you for the booze?

With sex? You disgust me dc. :shame: ;)

I need to find something to do with my evening. I was going to start watching Monster, but my DVD player is actin' a fool. :whistle2:k
Hmm. I'm thinking of buying a new TV for my room, since mine is probably 10 years old.

At Target, I saw this nifty (I think it was Magnavox?) 15" LCD TV. It had the wall mount thingy, which would be great, because it would give me a lot more space in my room. My question is, is the wall mounting hard to do?

Also, it was 300 dollars. They had a Sony 15" LCD as well, but it was 500. However the colors were much clearer and it was overall a better quality picture. Now, is this too much to pay for that type of TV?
your fucken trippin if your thinking of buying a tv that small and expecially for those prices.

Hmm, just got done watching R.O.D. It was good, but the end was sad. I really liked it.

Got it from Netflix, and about 3/4 of the way through the first 'episode', it froze up, so I had to restart it. I hate it when that happens. Oh well. I just had to fast forward through that one part.
your fucken trippin if your thinking of buying a tv that small and expecially for those prices.
That's all the bigger I need it.

And as I said, I have no idea what a reasonable price for these things are. Of course, the people at the stores tell me they have the most reasonable prices.
With sex? You disgust me dc. :shame: ;)
:nottalking:I'm so very disappointed with you, crymnl. You offer to buy him the beer first, and as soon as he gets drunk, thats when you make the move for sex. Its standard operating procedure, so you better check the pedophile hand book again.

I think maybe I'll watch Lost in Translation, again. Or maybe something new. I'd play some guitar, but first I'd have to tune it, and that's such a chore. Going out, of course, is out of the question.
:nottalking:I'm so very disappointed with you, crymnl. Of course, I've never gone after a boy ... :whistle2:k

We could have gotten that today if my circuit city had it. Now come the decision if we drive to santa cruz (45 min drive) tomorrow and hope it doesn't rain, or have it delivered to the circuit city in my city and miss watching the super bowl on it or decide not to get it anymore. :whistle2:k
edit: we still need to decide if were going to get this. It looks fucken sweet but it might be too much for my parents. too much as in technology wise.

edit 2: looks like we are going to get it. too bad it will have to be delived to my city and I won't be able to watch the superbowl on it . Now I have to look for a progressive scan DVD player.
It seems Disney's whoring out the Emporer's New Groove IP once again with the Emporer's New School TV series. :whistle2:(
Emperors New Groove - Just watch the movie, forget anything else exists
Lilo and Stitch - Watch the original, and #2 (NOT the Stitch movie) and forget the rest.

Those are the rules I live by.

I've been thinking about returning my ipod and getting a PSP instead. Is there anything good or bad about the PSP I should know about before hand?

Seems strange to go from something with 60gb of storage to a psp though ...

Well, the 10 year old was pretty short and was more or less at dick level.

The games for PSP are entertaining to a point, and so far, thats all its got going over a video iPod (ok, and a larger screen). If you arnt into the hacking scene for a PSP, your playing a crippled machine.

I miss my PSP simply for Hot Shots Golf and Burnout which came out right after my PSP was stolen...otherwise my iPod mini and GB Micro travel with me everywhere.

Well the that was one of the reasons I went for the ipod in the first place, the convenience of having a nice, large hd. But the main reason was for the fact that it can play video. And for $400, I have to say the ipod does a pretty crappy job of it. Some videos are so choppy, they're basically unwatchable. Other times, for longer movies, I lose all sound after a minute or so. Factoring all that and the time it takes me to convert videos into the proper format and the battery time, it just isn't worth the price.

I figure for the same price, I can get a psp and decent size memory stick.

Check on the apple.com forums for some fixes to those problems DC. There might be an update to fix that, or an older update that you could roll back to.

Oh, and you'll have to do the same converting to psp video as well, without the option of iTunes video...actually, im not even sure of that last bit. Will iTunes videos play on a psp with no changes?
You don't look like a big guy yourself, so I'm guessing this kid was about 3 feet tall.
He was pretty damn short. I'm average height, bordering on short- 5'8".

So this guy shoots at a gay bar, kills a cop, shoots his passanger. These are the last 2 paragraphs of the story

"Robida was a high school dropout who friends say glorified Naziism but never expressed any specific prejudice against gays.

"This is insane," said Heather Volton, 22, of Fall River, Mass., who had known Robida for more than a year. "That kid never so much as raised his voice at me ... This is all pretty much a shock to me, like everyone else."

A shock to you? He gets a hard on thinking about nazi's.
Sometimes I wish I could just force choke people.
My god.. I'm starting to feel sorry for anyone who walks in and asks me to explain Infinite Crisis to them...I'll talk thier

I guess it include a long discourse on Crisis on Infinite Earths, the previous crossovers between Earths 1 and 2, Alexander Luthor's alt earth were all off the inhabitants are supervillians, and Earth Prime.

Then, you have to catche them up on what's been going on with Nightwing, what Batman has been up to, what the speedforce is and why it's disappearence is important.

I'd imagine it couldn't be a short explanation. It requires a decent knowledge of a good chunk of DC's history.

I blame Grand Theft Auto. I can get shot a dozen times in GTA and not die. So my theory is, this guy has played so much video games he has become desensitized to bullet wounds.

I deserve the "completely missing the point" award for reading this post.

Upon getting to the qoute, I swore the woman's name was Heather Voltron.
At which point, "FORM FEET AND LEGS! FORM ARMS AND BODY! AND I'LL FORM THE HEAD" ran through my mind. "FORM BLAZING SWORD" followed shortly thereafter.

Alright so the way this works is just find someone in another topic, quote their last post and just tell them they are it...unless this is considered useless posting and stuff, keep it in the CAG Lifestyle & Off Topic Forum atleast.
Did you say evil love dolls?

Uh-oh, jmcc's dyslexia is flaring up again.

It makes me hear what I want to. Evil love doll would be a good horror movie idea. I'm calling Troma.

Yep. I could see the opening scene now.

Fade in to an ad for a love doll.

From here we cut to an idealic looking suburb, the nice, pristine looking suburb that looks like it jumped out of a 50's sitcom.

A delivery truck enters the frame, and stops. A delivery man steps out of the truck, carrying a box nearly as large as he is... it is emblazoned with the name of the company as seen in the ad.

He paces to the door briskly, reaches out his arm and rings the bell.

A shabby looking twenty-something with gel-coated hair steps opens the door, grabs the clipboard the delivery man is foisting upon him, grabs the box, and disappears back into his home.

Cut to the inside of the house:

The camera follows the young man walking though his home, stepping over a pile of empty pizza boxes and beer bottles, as he makes his way through a hallway decorated with a half completed mosiac crafted from pieces of pinups, centerfolds and other images cut from magazines that leads towards the back of house.

He opens the door to his room, and as he enters, we see a pile of unwashed clothes at the end of his bed, and a desk littered with a pile of porno mags and an open box of razorblades, with a couple of cut out photos sitting next to the pile of magazines.

(Zoom in on box of razorblads and pile of magazines.)

The young man hastily opens the box, revealing a 4.5 foot tall love doll, with somewhat goofy looking open mouth. He looks it over, and then tosses it into his pile of unwashed clothes.

The man leaves the room and closes the door. The camera stays focused on the bedroom door, and we hear rustling coming from the room.

The young man, shot from behind, enters back into the frame, now naked and holding a jar of vasoline... he enters the room, and closes the door behind him.

The entire scene goes silent, but is then pierced by and earsplitting scream.

The screen fades to black, and a splash screen comes up, with the title "EVIL LOVE DOLL"

A discussion that belongs in the OTT more than the Anime thread.
And my just-moved response:

In Terrors From the Clit #2 (obviously NSFW) there is a scene with Gauge called "The Evil Love Doll". Basically a blow-up doll sees it's owner with a real woman (and another guy, if you want to get technical) and in a fit of jealousy murders them all with a kitchen knife. After they finish doing their thing, of course. It's all rather comical.
