Arby's still do that $5 for 5 roast beef sandwiches?
They do in central PA. They also have 3 beef n cheddars for $5. Why bother with that tripe when you can get a Philly Beef N Swiss though? That new steakhouse sandwich is pretty good too.
Congrats! Now be sure to root it.
How does rooting it effect my insurance and the like? I don't want to fuck anything up. Liking it so far, but I really wish I could move my digital copies of movies on to it some way.

Technically it voids your warranty, but you can just flash the stock RUU back an I don't know that they could detect that you'd done anything to the phone.

What would cause me to lose a horse in RDR?
I mean, obviously if I see it get gunned down or hit by a train... or it gets stolen... but what happens when I whistle and a different horse shows up? Does that mean something happened to my normal horse? Or did the game just fuck up?
Cougars.
Haven't seen any of those yet, I'm early in the game... if my horse gets waxed, no horse should come when I whistle, right?
I like my fast Palomino looking horse...

When I reloaded my last save, it worked and he was there, I just want to know what happened to him and how I got a new horse without buying/stealing/breaking one.

Maybe wolves if you're early in the game. I've hopped off mine mid-gallup near a ledge and lost some. Also, if you don't have the "trust" (or whatever) of a horse you revert to the last horse you did have it with when the lost one wanders off.

This would break the game later on. I lost so very many horses.

.avi files?

Then google Rock Divx player
The only phone on the market I see that rivals the EVO is the Droid X... my plan is still to find a loophole in my contract to get out of my ETF, sell my Eris and go try EVO on Sprint to see just how bad the service is around here.

I love my EVO and have played with the Epic in store.

The Epic has a nice KB and has a nicer screen and better processor than the EVO. The store has the EVO and Epic using the same live wallpoaper, and it was choppy and washed out on EVO while the Epic was fluid and crisp.

BUT, Samsung phones worry me. They don't have the best track record when it comes to Android updates. You don't want to have to wait for Sammy to give you Flash 10.1. Also, the Epic feels less well made due to it is all plastic.
Thanks, mangs.

What are your thoughts on the EVO's UI vs. the Epic's UI? Engadget seemed to think the latter wasn't great.
Thanks, mangs.

EVO UI is a bucket of AIDS because it's sense based.
However, UI doesn't really matter much, as you can just replace whatever bullshit is on there with a better product, like launcherpro or ADW.launcher.
What's wrong with Sense?
Wasted screen space on home screen.
Horrible account sync/integration.
Archaic and limited contacts program.
I probably had more, but I've tried to erase the experience from my mind...

The only plus was that unsupported phones could exploit the Sense browser/flash lite plugin to get full flash 10.1 running. If you have a supported device though (such as EVO, Incredible, Droid, etc.) then it's not really a positive, as you could do this anyway.

Keep in mind, that I think most third party UI experiences are garbage -- motoBLUR, Sense UI, whatever the Samsung Galaxy S phones are running...

Vanilla AOSP all day -- the only reason I'd welcome any sort of Sense framework back onto my phone is if the xda people could use it as I stated above -- to get the Sense browser running with the flash lite.apk so I could actually have flash 10.1 in my browser.

If I do get my hands on an EVO and I'm happy with Sprint's coverage and decide to keep it, I'll be rooting and moving to CM6 immediately.
Thanks, mangs.

TouchWIZ sucks. It's not as good as Sense, but better than MOTOBLUR. Plus the fact that the Epic is still on Android 2.1 which makes it worse than any 2.2 based ROM.

But GrumpyFrost is right, 2.2 is great. Any custom UI is just mucking it up.
What's wrong with Sense?
Nothing, but it's unecessary.

HTC touched him in his underwear region as a child, ignore any of his anti-HTC/Sense rants.
I'll be rooting and moving to CM6 immediately.
I was very happy with CM6. But with 4G coverage getting more ubiquitous in the metro, I had to go back to a Sense based ROM to enjoy it.
I like some of the Sense widgets. I wasn't impressed with LauncherPro or ADW.
I was only a fan of the weather clock one -- launcherpro (paid) has some sense like widgets...
Since I bought beautiful widgets, it's even better than the Sense one, I can do a 1x4 and still have it look nice.

Does it have anything to do with rapid fire and noise complaints?
Or did you tell the muzzle-loaders they were tool-bags for dressing up like pioneers?

Is it relatively easy to remove the custom UI? Rooting is pretty easy, right? Also, rooting would allow tethering without paying any fee, correct?

When the EVO shipped, you could turn off Sense if you wanted, but an immediate OTA update took that option away.
Rooting is pretty easy, right?
There's the unRevoked program that's Linkin-proof and will get you rooted.

But for most ROMs you need to be NAND unlocked. But that's also easy, so long as you know how to run CMD commands(SHUT UP FROSTY!)
Also, rooting would allow tethering without paying any fee, correct?
Yep. But it does technically violate your T&Cs.

So long as you aren't using massive amounts of bandwidth you should be OK.
you guys ask me questions to answer on my next vlog that i'm dong right now
lolllllllllllllllllllll

So, one day I noticed that my club enacted some new rules. The club officers claimed it was to curtail noise since neighbors were complaining. Basically, anyone with a rifle that used a magazine that fired more than ten shots would be forced to shoot at the "upper range" and you could only have two people shooting at once, you could only shoot a few rounds per minute and you'd have to wait a certain amount of time in-between rounds of shooting.

Now, most people who own guns own modern date, magazine fed rifles, be they AK-47s, ARs, etc. Yet, anyone who shoots a gun such as that is forced to share four slots. Now, for anyone that has never been to a range, it's not uncommon for one shooting to take up two slots (one to lay his guns and another for bench shooting). So, it's completely ridiculous to alienate a such a popular form of shooting to just four benches when the entire club has around 20.

scan0001.jpg

So anyway, this pissed off a lot of people, and we wen't the next meeting to complain that it wasn't right. They tried to claim that it was a noise issue and that neighbors were complaining (which was absolute bullshit), then they tried to say it was a safety issue and that somebody said rounds were leaving the range (again, bullshit). It turns out that one night, while the officers were having their little poker game/social club, a couple of guys were mag-dumping (meaning, firing really fast) and the loud noises were annoying the old timers playing poker.

On top of that, the officers clearly stated that guns such as those where only made for killing people, which is true, that is why they were created, but couldn't you say that about any gun?

Anyway, they agreed to hold a committee on the issue after much begging on our part. We just wanted to compromise. We were willing to abide by the firing restrictions if, in return, they let us use the entire range. A reasonable compromise.

Well, I went to the first meeting, but base on how much they dismissed our grievances, I decided it just wasn't worth my time and I began the search for a new club.

At this point, all I know is what has been told to me by people that attended. I guess at the committee, they had everyone sign a sign-in sheet so they could "have a record of who attended." I was told that it seemed like a successful meeting and that the old dinosaurs were willing to work with them to find a soultion that would make everyone happy.

Fast forward to the next meeting where the final vote would take place. It was a massacre. The officers got in touch with every fudd, black power dolt and hunting retard and told them that "kids with machine guns were trying to take over the club." That night, they read off the sign-in list and voted out any member who had a problem with the new rules. Not only that, but relatives of those who were also members who had nothing to do with the fight.

So, that night, 19 people got the boot. They wouldn't say why, they just did it. Some were police officers, some were war vets who just returned home, they were all given the boot without any reason why.

Now, how they got my name, I'm not sure. It looks like they may be kicking out anyone who joined in the last year and giving them refunds.

So yeah, I guess that's it. I thought I was a member of a shooting club, but it turned out to be a social club held at a library without books.

See? Not that exciting. I did all that work for a bland story.

I'm going to assume there are easy instructions available for that NAND unlocking.

I've been tethering with my A900 for almost two years now, 4-5 days a week, for about 5 hours at a time, and I haven't run into any issues, so I'm not super worried about that.

Thanks for all the help, mang(s).

When it comes to primitive shooting/hunters the archery people have always been cool but those hardcore BP people are condescending assholes.
