I'm excited for NGII, but I've been excited for years for it. I want to finish FES, MGS4, and DDS2 before I get it. I have 2 weeks of nothing after finals and before work/lsat prep starts...I think I can do it. (well, besides MGS4, but I know I'll beat that shit in a weekend marathon anyway.)

edit: fuck! did they change the fusions around in FES?!
Speaking of MGS4 it's only a month away. Thank God it's finally coming out, I hope it'll be as epic as it looks to be.

And I gotta get some of this: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33852.html

Ahhh shit, I'm just gonna cave in on FFCC Wiiware. F you Nintendo and Squeenix--you just want my bank account number, admit it. :/

So Fable2 is lookin' ok? That's good...Amazon let me pre-order it for like $47 a few months ago, so I just did it sight unseen.

Just finished Crisis Core. Really, really good game. My review would be up if the RPGFan people got their act together... eh, but whatever, the game came out like two months ago so it's not exactly the highest of priorities.

Aaanyway, yeah, now I dunno what to do with my time, once again.

Oh, and does anyone know where I can get the orchestrated FF7 theme that plays in the credits? Mmm... that song's so good, especially when the PSP's hooked up to my HT setup.

I've been playing Spider-Man on the Dreamcast and What If mode is awesome. Pretty much gives me a reason to play through the game a second time.

I still have a strong will...that and do not feel like getting points. Though the more they talk about it in the wii forum and now here...it's looking harder and harder for me as well.
Sometimes ebay is still good. I just won DQM:Joker for 6 bones. Sweet.
Wow, great deal. Fun game, too; I must've put about fifty hours into it.
Well, WiiWare FFCC is good times. Nice to have something a little more low-key after getting demolished by Rondo of Swords the last week.
Did you ever manage to get through that battle?

I'm not so hot on FFCC WiiWare due to the ridiculousness of the DLC pricing. LostWinds looks nifty, though.

Still have no idea what I'm going to play next.

I'm getting somewhat close to the end of Crisis Core (at the start of chapter 8 of 11). Looking forward to beating it, I'm really enjoying the mechanics of it. Probably should do some more missions, though I think I'm still somewhat overleveled from my last run through the missions, I think. ;)

I really like that, unlike other RPGs, reflexes can help you avoid damage very often. The blend of RPG battle and action game is really done well. They should make some new game with these mechanics. I even enjoy the slotmachine aspect.

I should look up what materia I should be fusing :p

beat all the missions =)

or try to play through the game on hard from a new game. i got to the last boss and i fought him for 2 hours. 10 phoenix downs later, i died. =(

Nope. I've tried it half-heartedly a couple more times. Think I'll go back to my original party (Altrius, Kay, Margus, Selmer, Marie, Ansom [instead of Simon in place of Selmer]) and try to clean up the dozen soldiers the hard way again, and then hope to just make a break for Serdic before I get overwhelmed again.

The FFCC DLC is only there if you end up wanting to buy it, it in no way takes away from the core $15 game. Odds are if I enjoy the whole 10+ hours of it my first time, I'll probably get some of the DLC (races, dungeons) to make a second playthrough more diverse.
D'Arc is the truth.

Fun shit.
Seconded.

I'm at the end of Final Fantast Revenant Wings for DS... really awesome game. I couldn't stand most of the characters in FFXII, but RW made a way to make Vaan *not* a whiny little bitch.

I'll probably finish at 99% completed, because there is one sidequest I don't feel like leveling everyone up to do.

Nah, I lied, abused a Quickening and took down Zodiark.

Only 3 missions left and I 100%'ed the game.

Fell asleep early last night with my GBA SP still in grasp. Woke up and found out I was in the middle of a battle on Dragon Warrior III and noticed that 3 of my 4 characters were ZZZ lolol. I thought that was funny.

Jeanne Darc is great!

Wow, took me a long time, but finally got into the second/main island in Liberty City--the more I play, the more blown away I am.

Jeanne D'Arc's biggest hurdle for me is the cover art... which is booooorrrriiiiiinnnnngggg. I don't even want to open it. Maybe I'll just play The World Ends With You instead.

woooo! may have aced my second final (also may have aced the first one!) the third one will be the hardest (I have no notes and only went to half the classes), but I think I've earned a few more hours with Persona 3 before I get back to studying :)

...

Oook.

Man, FF:RW suffered too heavily from "Final Boss syndrome", in which the final boss is so ridiculously overpowered compared to everything else.

Its level is tied to your mission ranking... since I did every mission, the boss is Level 99 with attacks that can kill everyone almost instantly  Then, halfway through, he brings out a friend who is even stronger, so then you get to deal with both of them. fuck. That.

I'm not grinding another 10 hours for levels (after putting in 22) just to watch an 8 minute long ending, so I simply youtube'd it. Game finished ;) The ending wasn't worth the trouble anyways.
That would be amazing. ZOE. is easily the best mech game IMO. It controls well and the combat is fast paced. I wonder if he'd start with new characters though since ZOE2 ended the story pretty well.
Best mech game? No, it is the only mech game that doesn't suck. Chromehounds, Mechwarrior, Armored Core, etc... they're all slow-ass dog shit

Even though it's a thing of the past (The PS2 one sucked), Virtual On was good/fast fun... But still way diff vs ZOE. G I ZOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Front Mission 3 is the bees knees.

I still need to pick up ZOE second runner. I messed up by not getting it from goozex when the trade value was low. Now it's like $10 more or some messed up shit like that. :p
How about Jenna Haze be our spokeslady too? She does game afterall... Or so I heard.
I consider Sasha Grey to be alot more of GGT's gaming persona:

she still plays her coleco vision.

wait...are the views on this thread unique hits or just the number of times we've opened it...?

Not hard! Just season'd ;)

After playing it for awhile/getting used to it you should have no probs! I can beat that game without dying now...

Dunno how I feel about Jeanne D'Arc... it's basically FFT all over again, but with a worse art style and story...

And Jeanne was hot until she cut her hair. No interest in butches.
