Metroid/Wavebird bundle clearance for $29.99 (boblentil)
It was placed on clearance within the last couple weeks, because it was full price last time I checked. Typically, Kmart clearance items will have their prices halved every month. You might want to try to wait this one out for another price drop, because there is a very good chance that the bundle will be poorly displayed and no one will bother to change the marked price.

Not bad... I got Shadow Hearts: Covenant (PS2) for $15, Bloodrayne 2 (XBOX) for $15, Viewtiful Joe 2 (GC) for $10 and Rocky Legends (PS2) for $10. I also saw a MK: Deception Kollector's Edition for XBOX behind the glass. Can anyone confirm that this is part of the sale as well? If so, I'll have to go get it!
 
Picked up VJ2 and Jak 2 for $10 each at the 6 Forks location in Raleigh. I go the last VJ2.

Now the question is, now that I have VJ2, should I get the first one? Is it necessary in plot development or anything?
 
I think I ask this for every k-mart thread but if someone has or could pick me up a Legend of zelda: 4 swords adventure for gba I'd be eternally grateful, I'd pay full price plus and throw in a free game!

Anyone know how much the VJ2 for ps2 costs? The one I went to ran out so I don't know if it's worth hunting down or not if the price isn't $10.

4 Swords isn't a GBA game, it's a GC game. It IS a mode in LTTP for GBA, though.
 
6 Forks location also had a couple copies of Baten Kaitos. The VJ2 was marked $39.99 in the case, so be sure to get a price check even if it's in the case, just to make sure before it's on sale.
 
i got to my kmart, didnt see VJ 2, so that bummed me out, then i was lookin at the ps2 section and saw Bloodrayne 2 and Monster Hunter, i ask the guy if he'll price check em for me and he goes, hey, i can tell ya, and i say whats the price for Bloodrayne 2 and he goes 39.99, then i say, is it half off, and hes like no and im like ok.
I then pick up KOTOR (PH, not a part of the sale, but i wanted it), Monster Hunster and Bloodrayne 2, check them out and they were half off, so it only cost me 50, stupid employees

that was where I snagged my VJ 2 from. There was one left after I checked out, glad you snagged it
 
I decided to trek to the Roanoke, VA K-Mart a few hours ago. They have a small bin next to the register. I almost over looked it because I went straight to the cases instead. They still had one Baten Kaitos and Monster Hunter in the bin and several Star Fox Adventures. They also had a couple Syphon Filter 2s and some Disney PS One games. What I did was grab the ones in the bin, then asked to get some out of the case to price check.

I tried Tales of Symphonia but it is NOT discounted.

mmbn for gba i got for 10 bucks like a year ago...if that counts, lol...haven't seen any copies in a long time though...so i guess that's a good price if you cant find a new copy anywhere else...it's a really good game though, so i think it would be worth it :D
 
Yeah my big thing was finding it new and at a good price and I guess K-Mart is the only place I can think of to have shit that old. Heck one AROUND has some original prints of Animal Crossing but no DOA3 original. :whistle2:(
I'm thinking I may just buy the original Japanese import since you have to unlock the extra costumes as well.

Yeah, I liked it when I saw it on Spike TV. Kind of an impluse buy because I didn't even know they had a DVD set out for it.
 
OK Just scored MK:Deception (XBOX) for $25. It wasn't in the discount racks but behind the glass. I think that's it for me for awhile. I've been spending way too much!
 
I picked up WarioWare Inc.: Mega MicroGame$ for GBA. It had a yellow sticker since it was on clearance for $20 but rang up for half of that :)

I actually don't have a PDA myself so I print up a list of UPCs that I take with me. The PDA idea was brought up from what I quoted TimTucker for as far as the BarCode idea I figured I'd leave it in as an idea for anyone with a PDA. I'm sorry that you had trouble getting the price scanner to read your PDA screen.

The japanese DOA3 is awesome. not just extra costumes, but about 50 extra moves are in there, as well as some fixed balancing issues.

You can get a booster disc either out of an old issue of OXM, old Exhibition, or unlock it in DOA 2 Ultimate, and add those changes to the US version.

Doesn't add the moves or fix any of the imbalanced fighters, it only adds the costumes.
 
Hey Thanks for posting the deal OP. This is the third time I have gone to Kmart when they had these clearance sales on selected games. This time I picked up, Dead or Alive 3 and Tekken 4 for $9.99 each. I almost picked both of these up in the BB online 2 for $25 sale last week but that charged shipping. Now I was able to get both for $20. Much better deal indeed. Also, I was able to find one copy of WipeOut Fusion for $2.99. Another game I saw for $10 was Hot Shots Golf 3, I'm not sure if that was listed. Also, to answer some of the question about the DOA3 downloadable content you can find some of the extra costumes on the Exhibition 1 disk.

It does, but you haven't missed it yet. Kmart closes at 10:00 (at least, it should; mine does). Even if you're on the east coast you still have 45 minutes.

They've been doing it every month this year. And during last month's thread, a few people posted that employees had told them it was supposedly going to be a regular thing to clear the old product.
 
Thanks OP, I got viewtiful joe 2 and f-zero gx for $21 with tax! I was looking for wario ware for GC but couldn't find it at 3 of the k-marts I visited.

I have not been to k-mart in a long time and was surprised by the customer service at 2 of the ones I visited. I don't see how those people are so happy, they can't be making much but they were actually friendly.
 
I've been playing Viewtiful Joe 2 tonight and it kicks butt. I hadn't touched the first one since I beat it way back in October 2003 and I forgot just how much I love the gameplay. Thanks again OP for this great deal... its worth it just for that one game.
 
Ok just came back from K-Mart. I bought Riddick for $14.99 and Viewtiful Joe 2 for $9.99 - got the last one :D - and they both rang up for a total of $26.96. Thanks CAG!! I was mad that they didn't have Metal Slug :cry: But buying these 2 games made up for it. Now I don't have enough money for SC:CT next week so I must trade in a game :(
