Kmart: New 3DS XL $100, PS4 $200, Splatoon $30

Holy sheeet! it actually shows for $140! I'd feel like I could maybe get away with $200, but not with $140.

On another note, does anyone know if this will show up in store (at Kmart) for this price or if they'll match what the site says?

No dice on a PS4 at my Walmart, since "it says it's not in stock." Might try a Best Buy or another Walmart tomorrow if I'm near one.

Danny boy let me lay some knowledge on ya. As a matter fact, the lot of you. Go to the customer service desk and ask for one of them to escort you to the electronics section for a price match. They'll make it happen Lickety-Split. They want to get back to their post and you want to get your hands on a ps4 for 200 smackaroonies.

Man, I love August. Last August I was able to trade in two 4GB Xbox 360's for $303 each at Best Buy. Too bad I already have a normal 3DS XL and a PS4.

So is KMart just trolling everyone else with this?  KMarts have mostly gotten out of the game selling business and this seems to just be a way to hurt their competitors when price matches occur.

Wouldn't even try to price match Kmart. Note that Kmart is literally right next door to thus Best Buy. He said they weren't on the list and it was "GM discretion what 25 miles meant" after I showed him their policy. I shit you not. Employee looked so awkward the entire time.

I know my BB did the Wii U sears price match so I doubt they won't honor this but I really want to wait on getting a PS4. I could buy one to boomerang for BB points but I would rather not or credit move to GS at a slight loss with tax. Screw it not going for it.

Man, I wish I got in on that. I got screwed by them with that PM because the rep typed my credit card info in wrong over the phone....That's pretty awesome though.
 
Decided to take part since the D pad and A and B buttons on my current N3DS XL are going all "mushy."

It was an awesome visit to my local Best Buy tonight. At the start, my favorite CS rep confirmed with the manager (who mulled it over all of 2 seconds) before allowing the N3DS XL price match to Kmart. Then while we were finishing up the transaction, another of my favorite CS reps (who was off tonight) walked up to purchase Mortal Combat X. When he learned why I was there, it took no convincing at all for him grab a N3DS XL at that price too. :rofl:

I kinda wanted try for the $140 or $200 PS4 at Walmart if only for bragging rights. But unless I can think of another use for a second PS4 (especially when I also have a PS3, Vita, and PSTV), attempting just because I can might be going overboard lol.

 
I was in the clear, but they couldn't get the Pricematching Tool to work. Told me they must not price match it because it wasn't recognizing it. Oh well.

Was it for the PS4 or 3DS?

EDIT: Anyone know how to get this to pull up at Kmart.com? I want to know in case the cashier or manager ask to pull it up. TIA

ok. So when u pull it up on your cell phone, keep it come before going inside BB. Go to cashier, ask for new 3ds. Then show phone to cashier. Cashier scan item, go to price match on pos screen. (Its the last page under other) She adjust price, and boom checkout. 

I was going to wait for the regular new 3ds, but Im not sure how long that would take or if they ever going to. Not sure how gets the thumbs up CAG or SD (saw here first, but also notice on SD) , but thanks.

 
Failed at walmart, I recommend you go to best buy. My walmart didn't care about my link and they had to find it on their PC. I have pm at walmart twice and they always went by the link on my phone but not this time. If you're going to try walmart you should go at 12am or later, its likely they wont bother to check since most employees left. I've done it before. Getting the ps4 at walmart would be harder, the link is for the normal ps4 without batman or last of us and most stores will only have those.

How are you guys price matching these? Walmart and bestbuy say the site has to have the item in stock.
