Had to get a headlight for my car so I stopped at k-mart in Wilkes Barre, PA. Still no fucking PSN cards there (wanted to check to see in case Josh throws a PSN card deal).

This is fucking ridiculous. Every time I went to that k-mart no PSN cards. It's been 5 months now and no PSN cards.

The Kmart by me has not had 20 psn or 19.99 abox live cards for about a year. I asked the lady why they dont have them, and she told me cause no one buys them. Then I asked how anyone can buy them if they dont carry them, and she just said "dont know".
 
San Mateo and Redwood City Ca are exactly the same. If you ask about $20 PSN cards they say that they no longer carry them. I bought the last one in november, and have been asking since then, i can't imagine why they would stop selling them.
 
I was able to use my L.A. Noire coupon without (much) trouble yesterday. The issue I ran into is that I wanted to get Punch-Out for my Wii, which was $19.97...three cents too low for the coupon to work. Since the cheapest things I could find to tack onto my purchase in the department were all crap (I think I'm a little too old for DS Buzz Lightyear armor), I decided to splurge a little and get the platinum hits version of Fable 2 for my 360.

So, if we exclude Fable 2, that purchase netted me L.A Noire, Wario Land: Shake It, and Punch-Out for a total of $60.

How accurate is the in-store pickup when it comes to inventory? Website says my local store has Punchout available for pickup but when my wife went they said they didn't have it. Guess I'll order it and find out.

Same with me. I sent Josh an email and poof about 2 weeks later plenty of PSN & XBL cards. :)

Just shoot him an email with your store number and other info and he will take care of it.

I can top that, the $60 I spent for LA Noire turned into (via many magical transactions) -> LA Noire (w/Walmart DLC), Soul Calibur 4, LoZ: TP, FEAR 2, and Splatterhouse. : D All new to boot.

So thank you K-mart indeed. Also, the PH version of Fable 2 has all the DLC, right? I've been eyeing that for $15 new for quite some time now. Good taste.

Edit: I've seen Punch-Out for Wii @ my local K-mart, is it really worth $20? I'm also iffy about Wario-Ware, but that might be because I got WarioWare Inc. Mega Party Games! and I've been turned off the series since. It was pretty much just GBA mini-games on the big screen. =/

Yep. It's based on the pre-tax and pre-coupon amount.
 
On a non-deal visit to Kmart to use my $20 gaming coupon: They didn't have Starcraft 2. They had everything Warcraft and Diablo 2 Battle Chest, including a Cataclysm Collector's Edition, but no Starcraft 2. Safe to say I was bummed. Now I'm hoping that Dynasty Warriors 7 gets a sale before July 2nd.
 
you guys who don't get points/psn cards at your store should send josh a brief note with the store location and see if he can't forward it on and get something done.

I just got my copy of inFamous 2 today. I won it from the Subway/Sony promotion a few months back and thought it would show up after June 7th but came today in the mail. Might just sell it on eBay as I'm sure someone would pay a premium price to play it early before anyone else. Then I'll just wait and buy it from Kmart with my LA Noire coupon if the deal is any good.

For those wondering about the sywr promotion tomorrow, buy x amount, get y amount of points, i believe that its the total at the end, we had this talk amongst other kmart cags in last thread during last promotion, u have to pay the required amount out of pocket (coupons/sywr points reduce the amount that is counted towards the promotion)
 
I'm still deciding on whether I should pick up an LED monitor. I think I'd enjoy playing games in HD. At the same time, the decision I need to make is whether to buy it now, or to wait.

Since it's the 29th, will the Dirt 3 coupon still print? Every week I hear someone saying they got the coupon even though it's like the day after the deal ends so I'm wondering if you guys think it would still work?

People who had problems, Josh fixed it for them. Or tried to fix it if I told him the right friggin store...I got my giftcards yesterday, probably using it on infamous 2 if there's a deal on it. Rarely if ever do I approve of paying MSRP on a game.

No, the deal is over, they go from Sunday to Saturday, it ended yesterday. I have yet to hear of a coupon printing after its a deal is done and I have been following the K-Mart deals since its creation last May.

Hunted is not in the ad but the coming soon offer is good. Mguiddy posted the ad earlier in the thread.
