League of Legends anyone?
Also, I'm just tired of all the douche bags playing the game. They never listen to what anyone has to say on the team and they just keep doing stupid things to lose the game to the other team. I swear, the ladder games are just a big joke to me at this point. Speaking of ladder games, new release heroes should be auto banned in ladder games. Why are people using them in ladder and not in normal games? I find this very frustrating.

Sadly this game is slowly digging its own grave for me. Soon enough I wouldn't even want to play it anymore.
I played with a lot of hostile players last night, probably the worst in weeks. There was at least one in each game if not 2. I wonder if the patch brings out more jerks?

I had a Karma in the first ranked game I played of the night and she said "I practiced!!!"

I think after a match a lot of the players (mostly kids?) don't understand why their team lost. So they lash out at everyone on their team. I also think that a lot of the kids when they get killed by an aggressive player, they play aggressive, but then just wind up tower diving and get frustrated and blame anyone they can. Very often I see someone push way too far with zero map awareness, then once they die, cry that no one came to help them.

I like a lot of multiplayer games, but the community winds up ruining a lot of games for me.

I was in a horrible game last night. I was Vlad and having a hard time mid against Morde and died twice (nearly got him the 2nd time I died) so our WW got pissed. Then 3 of us ganked Morde and he said "WTF takes all 3 of you? did i really rape Vlad that hard?" Then their Mundo kept saying "MUNDO THINKS VLAD IS AN EASY CHAMP" after I killed 3 of them in a row. I said Mundo isn't hard. Then WW was bitching b/c he tried to 3v1 between their 2 mid turrets and was mad we were trying to get Morde in our jungle.
I think we all gotta play together, so if we blame someone, we can blame icedrake! :D
I already do!
I think we all gotta play together, so if we blame someone, we can blame icedrake! :D
Which is why I'm done with Vlad. The games I've done well, my team sucks and I get focused in fights. When I struggle, my team gets pissed b/c Vlad is OP and everything is my fault, like why the other team's DPS in sidelanes got fed.

I think what we need to do is to set a day and time during the week and try to play some games. Have extra people so we can rotate teams. Arranged games are the way to go!

I really need to find a go to character, a carry of some sort. I've been playing Katarina for a week now and I find that I either melt everything around me or have a couple mishaps and fall behind for the rest of the game. Just seems like a risky champ to choose.

Waughoo is the resident Kat expert. MEOW!
Wakakakaak is the resident Mundo expert
Icedrake is the resident feeder expert
I am resident everyone except carries expert :D

I pretty much stopped playing Rammus and Ryze because I found usually my team blamed everything on me.

I played 2 games with Shen last night. First game we lost because my team was very disorganized and just didn't have the damage to kill anyone, had 1 person blaming me for everything, ex: I never taunted or ulted. Their teemo had like 0 deaths, that's sorta embarrassing. The next game we beat the other team at 24 minutes with a score of 20 to 0 (maybe the first game i ever won under 25 minutes). I saved a few of my teammates from death. He's a lot of fun when you have teammates worth saving, but like Icedrake has said he's so very team dependent.

Yeah, I hate Shen in solo queue. Your team generally doesn't coordinate. The worst is when you ult to a teammate about to die and they think "Shen is ulting me. Let's reverse gank even though I have 10 HP!" and they die. I always tell my team at the start of the game, I ult to save you. Do not stay around to die because that will just piss me off.

Nunu has become my main tank. He can stay in a lane well is really good at support with his W and E for chasing and escaping.

Kat's great unless the other team has a lot of interrupts for your ULT, in which case you either have to
A: Not use your ult till all those skills have been used.
B: Jump in and pray you kill them before they realize whats going on.

Kat is tricky cause you almost need stack items, but if you're dying a lot you shouldnt get them and waste money. Plus no matter what you build someone in your game thinks they have a better Kat build than you. So you take a lot of crap for that. I had a guy on my team last night who was talking crap to me even though I was the only one on our team with a positive k/d ratio. Plus now with Doran's items being expensive, you really have to think about your starting items more.

I had a lot of fun last night on our last game. I went mid (as Kat) against a Corki. Killed him once, then Lux came and covered till he got back. Then I killed him again, and Lux came back only for me to almost kill her. Then both of them stayed mid, and I killed them both. Apparently I made them mad, cause they said something about how I make people crazy, and he was giving up or something. So he spent the rest of the game trying to solo Baron.... he was only lvl 8! So I warded it, and popped in and ulted him like 3 different times.

It's fun owning so hard people give up even trying to fight you :)

Also... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Just started playing. Haven't purchased anything yet. I was wondering how do you change your name to something you like? Or is that for paid accounts only? Currently my name is Ainfean.

I'm on a free account and my name is what I wanted it to be.

Yeah I see I'd have to send them an email to change it. Oh well I don't mind the name that I have so if anyone wants to add me thats the name in the previous post.

My favorite build so far has been rushing a gunblade along with cd reduction boots. I'm just not comfortable with having my whole game depend on stacks.

You know what I like? When your Malzahar doesn't get why you focus the enemy's 5/0/7 Warwick and wants to ult their Shen with Guardian Angel in a team fight, not the fed Warwick or Kat who rapes us in team fights.

Avoid stack items until you can get kills and not die. Mejai's with 0 stacks give you no extra bonus over an amplifying tome. Doing the math really quick it looks like you need 5 stacks to break even with a blasting wand gold wise. And blasting wand of course gives you the AP up front.

Ya, I usually get stacks if i know i will kick their ass's all game.

Bravo and I just whooped some ass with Sona and my Lux. We also had a Shen and Renek and a Wolf, which made it good :D. almost killing people with my LAZOOOOR

I got first blood vs nidalee in mid. BOOYAH

heh that was a fun game for sure, soraka/janna combo is nice, between shields and heals its kinda hard to die

i'm having a hell of a time finding a build for karma, shes an interesting and complicated champion, but i feel like i will never be any good with her if i dont figure out how i wanna build her. shes more item dependant than janna, by alot, wich sucks cause i can farm way easier as janna.... sigh

Make her AP

Apparently her mantra + shield is super OP. It can be cast on a minion. Think of Sion's shield burst, without being near the opponent.

Ugh. I just played a 1 v 3 match. At what level do you stop getting partners who just dc on you?

Also, any advice on Lux? I love all of her skills and I'd like to become good with her, but I have issues landing the finishing blows on minions with her. It's kinda hard to rack up Gold.

Keep playing Lux she's one of the stronger champions, especially on a good team.

You never can fully get away from the leavers and whiners. Some of it is time based. I've found after school but before people get home from work is a terrible time to play, lots of kiddies, lots of fighting.

I want to jungle, so I'm trying Warwick out since he's easier so I can learn the ropes. My first game had an incredibly annoying matchup. Eve, Trynd, and Kayle were on the other team. They also had a Cho but I just lol'd at him once I got my Bloodrazors.

He's fun and I love ulting someone when they have turret aggro. We could have won if my team coordinated better :whistle2:(

You don't want to jungle with Nunu? If you start at golem camp he's very easy to jungle with. He's not that great on dragon so I ignore dragon unless I get help.

He's a fine jungler but I like laning more. I had one bad jungling experience with him, too.

My last game as WW I did well. We had such a crappy team comp in terms of lanes. Shen solo top, Trynd mid, Sona and Nasus bot. I kited Sivir who was even saved by their Shen which was awesome.

I was also an asshole, stole their blue buff and left a little lizard so it wouldn't repsawn.

Okay. I suck with Lux. And went back to Sivir as my freebie.

A person commented on my items of choice with her though. I pick up the Masamune Blade because I will never run out of MP with it on. I can spam BB, keep the Bounce on indefinitely, and Ult on demand. But People were criticizing me for it because it lacks the attack power I should striving for. I understand I can gain mana from using my 3rd skill, but that's only if I have an enemy attacking me at the moment and doesn't allow me to jump other people.

Which led on to my other items. Is getting a defensive/HP item a bad choice for a distance attacker/pusher like Sivir? Regardless of what champion I get, after the Masamune Blade and a pair of boots, I go straight for an armor piece. Generally Thorn Mail so I can stray off the physical attackers who love to jump me, but I also pick up the auto-reviving armor piece depending on the lane situations. But I'm told to just grab ASPD things :|.

Can I get some input from you folks?

Btw, my IGN is Siamak .

for all LOL builds, check out www.leaguecraft.com and find the highest rated build/guide for the character you want. That is what I always do.

I always get some Defense items on my dudes towards the end depending on what the enemy has unless you have great positioning or your team is protecting you.

I dont play Sivir, so really cant help you out :( I only tried her a few times and went Tank-sivir with Warmogs. I never died :D

I use mobafire.com builds as my base.

For sivir the top rated mobafire build rushes manamune, so that is not a poor choice at all.

For sivir, rusing armor probably isnt a good idea. Lifesteal is good with her since she such a strong pusher. I believe emblem of valor give you health regen and lifesteal and builds into starks. Get ghost and flash as summoner spells which can be both offensive and defensive spells. If you have enough attack speed and lifesteal you can overwhelm opponents, if you are going to lose, use your ult, ghost, and flash to get out of there.

Taking masteries with increased dodge, and nimbleness, since she gets a dodge bonus while moving. Will also help a bit with surviving.

I like the layout of Mobafire but I find Leaguecraft's guides better for the most part. They go into more detail. Most of the top rated Mobafire guides are offensive, even the top Garen guide is a DPS one and DPS Garen is putrid.

I've been playing Lux lately. I'm all over the place with her though. I went 12-0 one game and then 4-7 the next. Gotta get more consistent. Any tips?

It doesnt matter what you build, someone is gonna complain about it. Everyone thinks they are an expert.

Lux is great because with some CDR boots and runes, you get her ult every 24~ish seconds (don't remember exact number). With it up this often, and some mana regen you should use it about every time it's up. Clear minion waves with it, fire it off anytime you see a low-health enemy. Ward baron/dragon and steal the last hit on them with it. Good stuff.

Learn to land her stun and follow up with a E or Ult. She's great for ganking. Most people run back to a tower to recall at low health, so fire your ult behind towers when you think they are recalling.

Thats the guild I use for Lux

So yeah, just bought Karma. Not bad. I just wish people would let me be a support character. Most of the time they're looking at me to ult, and I don't even have one. >.>

So I had SHIT ranked games today

4v5, feeders, people who dont know how to play

SO FINALLY I WAS TEAM CAPTAIN AND I SAID fuck THIS.

I banned Soraka and Trundle.

I pick Lux first pick and someone says "LUX??? SHE SUCKS"

WELL, F U. I carried our freaking team and nailed skillshots left and right. AND THAT PERSON SAID SORRY AT THE END.

DAMN STRAIGHT!

I tried Singed and it was awful the first game. The other team had no real tank, Renekton was closest. We had Garen, Morde, and myself as Singed, Akali, and Nidalee. I kept telling everyone stay together and push. Of course they didn't. Garen blamed me for us sucking (we had taken down 1 turret which I had done by myself). I could never do anything b/c no one was with me for me to flip one of them into my team. Eventually Morde and Nidalee gave up, Nidalee spelt "$$$" in wards.

Another game I was Nunu and took charge of the team. We had the advantage since they were all squishy: Fiddle, Annie, Teemo, Veigar, and Tristana. We had Nunu (me), Malph, TF, Yi, and...I forget, Poppy maybe?

Anyway, Yi insta-locked to jungle. Then when the game started, he said "Sorry guys I don't speak Enlish well and don't know how to jungle." I hoped he was kidding but he clearly didnt since he could barely get blue buff on his own. I took control at that point and told him to lane with me and it worked out better. We won because they couldn't win team fights after a certain point.

I decided to go with Sivir for a game and try a real build with her. Holy crap does she push like no tomorrow. With that spell shield, no one was touching me. I just farmed and farmed and pushed and pushed. Panth and TF tried to gank me. Nice try!

I owned TF in mid. He had good stuff going levels like 1-3. Then he tapered off :p

Thanks for the advice folks. Kinda shocked to see how the majority of the items I was already getting were recommended. Tried following the builds exactly as is though and I'm getting mixed results. One strange thing I'm liking is the Fortify spell with Sivir. If I can't get to a turret right away to just ricochet all the minions, I can at least delay them and any champions for a few moments helping the count to go down and the retreat to happen faster.

Anyways,

:') Something wonderful happened today regarding that. This one jerk using Candlejack died in a 3 v 1 gank. Since I was at half health and with no mana, I decided just to toss a few BB's into the fray and bolted out of there before my own death.

The guy starts commenting on my excellent teamwork, and blames me for the entire match being lost. Ya know, continuously bad mouths me over all-chat until he rezs (and continues to do so just sitting in spawn, refusing to leave until I die).

He ended up quitting the match.

After the game was over, I hit Play Again right away,

AND HE ENDED UP ON MY TEAM.

It was so beautiful.

Don't get Fortify. If anyone on your get gets it, it should be the tank. Definitely take Ghost, I've never not taken it every game I've played. I'm guessing you haven't unlocked Flash, so take Teleport or Ignite in the mean time. Sivir is a soft, physical carry with no escape mechanism so having Ghost and Flash really helps.

I wouldn't say Sivir has no escape mechanism. Her ultimate skill is a large ranged teambuff which grants a large amount of ASPD and movement speed. It's great in common situations like fleeing, chasing, teamfights, and boosting your (and your minions) aspd to take down a turret.

Ghost has worked wonder for me though. And I do agree that tanks should be the one with that skill though. That splash damage boost to the turrets with the defense mastery is too pretty to pass up.

Flash is that lvl 12 summoner thing, right? I just hit 9, so yeah, I'm a bit from there.

Yeah actually Sivir is good at escaping. Her spell shield + ultimate is hard to stop. Thing is most Sivir's will pop their ult while push or while hitting a tower just to get the extra hits in, then they do not have it for escape later. I used to play her back when I first started, and I like her alot. But I think I suck with her cause I think I lost 80% of my matches with her. Dunno if thats cause I sucked with Sivir or if it was that I just sucked at LOL at the time.

Also last night was awesome. Apparently my wife's been planing a surprise party for me for like a month. We went out to eat and there were like 20 of my friends and family there. Got some great gifts ($20 Riot Points, some other gift cards and a PS3!). Plus I have enough money I was able to order more RAM and a new HD for my PC. Looking forward to LoL with 8 GB of Ram pushing it :)
