Haha, I just realized it was you that did it both times I saw it on the last page. I was thinking it was two different people at first which was what made me irritated.

I didn't mean to single you out :p

The lego minifigures in the 2 boxes that I found the other day were in the same spot still untouched, I thought they would all be gone by now.

What store were you are at? Walmart? Target?

If you are going to single me out then do it for all 5 mistakes I have made in the post! Plus I know the difference, sometimes I just don't care. We make the language, the language doesn't make us. The only one I can't remember the difference is effect and affect. :bouncy:
In my opinion skeletons are one of the worst designed pieces in the Lego inventory. Their arms and legs are not poseable and they just have no heft to them. I don't understand the appeal at all. If they redesigned their skeletons to address these issues I might be interested.
These are most likely the new skellies from the Castle theme that can move around.
Pharaoh's Quest is a new theme where a Johnny Thunder like guy fights flying mummies... I kid you not. Go to Eurobricks for someone who saw the pictures.

The Series 2 is now in stock ("Hot off the truck") at EntertainmentEarth. My preorder is in "backorder" status. This is "normal", right? I think there were similar posts regarding the same issue during Series 1 shipping.

BTW: if you find a only a dozen or so minifigures at Target, don't be instantly discouraged. I checked the codes and one was actually a Spartan! Unbelievable that he survived through previous rummaging.

I still have an outstanding preorder for Series 1 mastercase from BBTS. I am upset about that order. I assumed they were working with LEGO, but they use a different distributor for that. I think that basically means that the order will never be filled and I missed a huge opportunity from buying from EntertainmentEarth.

For Series 3, I will only rely on EE. Was there another online retailer successful at shipping Series 1&2?
cutiepatootie, were you the one that bought two of the $400 Millenium Falcons to sell one later? I think it's safe to sell one now since it's going for over a grand on ebay.
WHAT THE #@#$@$# ??????!!!!!!!! Are you serious....over a grand?!!! That's wonderful news. :) I have 2 unopened. Son decided he didn't feel like opening it, even though we said it was fine. He might change his mind though. But it's all in America, and I'm here in Paris, where there are NO lego deals going on here. I bought some Harry Potter legos off of TRU.com, and now need to find a family member here to "visit" me. :)

I couldn't believe it myself, but after looking at some of the completed listings on eBay, there were 3 on Sept. 19 that sold over 1K!

I just checked EE too. Weird, half my order is ready to ship, but the other half is B/O.

I don't follow this thread, but thought I'd share that I saw the series 2 Lego figures today at Target down the Halloween candy isle. I didn't see any on the Lego isle so I was surprised to see them in such a weird location.

My info says all Lego will be on sale for the week of 10/3. Some sets 30% off. That's all I know for now, more later when I find out.

Looks like TRU is giving away magnets this year for Bricktober.

Free Exclusive Lego Retro Mini Figure Magnet with any Lego construction set or Lego Game purchase of $20 or more. Week 1: Imperial Soldier.

There is also another promo running at the same time - Free $10 Geoffrey Bucks with any $75 purchase.

Thanks Prim! The TRU deal along with the Double Points at the LEGO store come this October is going to make be broke!

Grocery shopping at Walmart tonight and saw this in the "Arts and Crafts" section which is directly across from the toy section:
walmartminifig.jpg

$1.97...good price... so far.

A worker told me she saw someone with a piece of paper going through all the figures. Culpeper, VA isn't big enough for two Lego collectors.:bomb:

Looks like my EE order shipped. Fedex snail mail... can't believe they are charging me 20 for that, thank goodness I had that free shipping code.

nice find 180husher... think there is any spartans in there?

Come Series 3.. it's going to be a nightmare having to find certain figures.

Gotta check Walmart now too. I did buy some Halo minifigs from there, and my first pack was the rare transparent master chief.
See all the images of the 2011 Pharoah's Quest line here on Flickr before they're taken out!
Very nice. Flickr is usually good and won't take they down. I don't like the brick built creatures in PQ, seems out of place. Otherswise lovely. The Atlantis crab is fun.

Pharaoh's Quest looks great--dark red and tan! New Atlantis has switched to what looks like classic space trans-yellow! Both lines look like they are going to kill my wallet. NinjaGo on the other hand...I think my wallet is safe. It's kind of nice when a line comes out that you have ZERO interest in (World Racers) so you don't have to bother with them.

Yeah the guy got hold of the catalog, the store must have given him it or something, so he has all the System sets for the first quarter of the year up.

What I find shocking is there isn't a license theme. Which is awesome.

What isn't awesome, the Ninja sets, they suck! Plus some German LEGO set said that the one minifigure sets that come with trading cards cost 10 Euros! I'm hoping that's a typo, anything over 4-5 and this theme will fail faster than Speed Racer.

TRU.com restocked some items, including the City Advent Calendar and the Toys R Us Truck set. I combined those with the Lego Truck for the B2G1 free deal.

I just got an email from TRU, it was the B2G1 sale. Two days left.

Odd thing is it says B2G1 on 'ALL Lego construction sets'.

All is in capital letters... I know the was the Star Wars restriction for this weeks sale, but the email didn't state it as such.

Finally found series 2 at the Fairview Park, OH Target. Probably 2 dozen or so left; no spartans as nearly as I could tell though. Grabbed the three I was interested in at least (mime, disco guy, martial artist). Gotta say, I'm kind of disappointed with the feel/look of the plastic. The joints are kind of loose too; I guess all the complaining about Chinese minifigs wasn't just exaggeration.

Way more interested in series 3 than 2; I'm definitely going to need to find the cyborg, F1 driver, multiple mummies (good timing for those interested in Pharaoh's Quest), and maybe multiple hula girls. Can't wait for series 4 to be revealed.

Anyone think a series dedicated to retired themes would work? I'm thinking specifically of the many space themes Lego has rolled out over the last 30 years; I'd buy cases and cases if they put out Space Police (I or II) or Futuron figures again.

Series 3 is def gonna drain my wallet. Not just because of the no barcode but because of the figures they'll have in that series. I def agree with a series dedicated to the retired themes. Old knights and space. The orange saw blades!
There's a 5.00 coupon floating out there for TRU...has anyone tried using this on the b2g1 free deal? It should work, right?

http://www.printablecouponfeed.com/toysrus/25773

and thanks for hosting up those pics bigdaddy....son looked at them for a long, long time, and i was happy it was peace and quiet. ;)
I used the coupon on Sunday and it stacked with the B2G1 free.

Do they ever include the Star Wars sets in their B2G1 or BOGO? It sucks I would drop $200-300 for Xmas this week if they included SW, but I will go to the Lego store and save $10 per set and get VIP points much quicker. I did find a TRU with a stash of old AT-TE in stock that I am going to have to pick one up for xmas in the next week.

Make sure to save them because it seems LEGO is being a bigger ass than normal when it comes to leaked pictures this year. If they don't want them to leak this early than don't release the catalogs yet.

I think series 4 should be all religious figures. Buddha, Jesus, Xenu (or Tom Cruise), Joseph Smith, Shiva, Zeus, and a completely clear figure with a "?" on its chest, known only as "Mr. M, The Prophet" so as to not to offend his followers.

Ha ha! I love it! I'd buy those. I'm hoping for a world dictators pack, Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Kim Jong Il. All with little hats.

LOL. This reminds me - How come LEGO doesn't do a Nativity set? I saw one for Playmobil at TRU the other day...
It says "ALL" in the weekly add too.

http://toysrus.shoplocal.com/toysrus/default.aspx?action=entryflash&
Yeah, but below it in the ad it states "except for star wars sets".. The e-mail didn't state this anywhere.

A technicality, yes... But maybe someone can get away with getting some B2G1 Star Wars sets.

Hopefully Bricktober will have some good Star Wars deals for you guys. Hopefully we'll get some more info next week about the Bricktober festivities.
Anyone know of any deals on the Imperial Flagship? Have a new Lego store in my area and am wondering if they ever have any sales or coupons?
The best "deal" I found was to order it via Amazon for no tax and free shipping.

I have a few extra Series 2 minifigs that I'd be willing to trade for Series 1 minifigs.

Since I don't have any of the series 1, I'm open to all trades, as long as they're sealed.

All of my extras are sealed... I have the following..

Ringmaster
Mexican
Jungle Explorer
Weightlifter

Let me know what you have if you're interested!!

I went to the Lego Kids Fest this morning. I'll post up some pictures later, but here's my short review. If you want to skip through and read the pros and cons at the bottom.

My wife and I got there at 10 am, or an hour after it opened. It was pretty crowded already and we had to wait in a line outside before going in. The line went pretty quick though and it only took us about 30 minutes to get in.

What's the first thing we see once inside? Something Lego related? Nope, three Honda Odysseys . Apparently Honda is one of the show sponsors. Anyway, we walked around and looked at all the cool sculptures they had: Harry Potter, Star Wars, Toy Story, Batman, IJ etc. There were some that I had seen either at TRU or at the Lego store, but a bunch that were new.

There were a bunch of people at the event, and most of the tables were really crowded :boxing: so after looking at the sculptures, we walked around looking at the exhibits and collecting stamps for a prize I'll tell you about later. There was a table of people showing off their MOC's with a couple of cool builds, but nothing as cool like the ones I've seen from pictures of Brickfest. There was also a stage setup for kids to have a Spelling Bee contest. Another area was roped off for kids to play video games. Some people were playing the Lego games :joystick: and they also had a set for Lego Rock Band.

At around 12, we waited in a long line to get into the Lego store, which was just a small room with shelving they had put up. Once inside, we saw there wasn't anything really exclusive. They sell the same sets that you would find at any Lego store. They also didn't have a PaB wall, but as my wife said, that would probably have been a mad house :argue:. The one thing that I found and quickly snatched up was a lone Toy Shop box :whee:. It was regular price at $60, but I had wanted to get it last year but it quickly sold out. We asked if they had another, but the lady said that was the last one. She also mentioned they would be selling it in stores starting Oct. 1st :whistle2:k.

After going through the store, a lot of the people had left, so we had a chance to check out some of the build exhibits. We stopped to look at the "Creation Nation" where they gave us a 16x16 base plate to build something for them to put inside a US outline. Next we went to the "Mosaic Wall" where they gave you an 8x8 plate that's colored in and you pretty much "paint by number" to fill it with 1x1 bricks.

By then, it was already 1:45 and the person over the loudspeaker said they were closing . As we made our way out, we stopped by the last stamp table to pick up our prize. We got to pick from a temporary Rainforest Cafe tatoo, a random frog sticker, or a Blue Man group collapsible frisbee... #-o You would think they would have had something Lego related - a 2x4 brick with Lego Kids Fest 2010 imprinted on it maybe?

All in all we had a good time. Would we go again next year? Probably not. There's not much to do unless you're a kid, or a parent watching your kid, though I guess that's why they call it Lego *Kids* Fest :). The sculptures were cool to look at and I was really happy to find that Toy Shop, but for $34 for the tickets, plus $35 for parking, plus $20 for food, I think I could've just seen the pictures on the website

I do want to thank TheHammerGod for the heads up though. I'm definitely glad I at least made it there once. Maybe I'll head out again once I have kids of my own.

In short:
Pros:
- Cool Sculptures
- Scored a Toy Shop for retail price

Cons:
- Crowded
- Silly prizes
- Not much for adults to do, though this is an event for kids, so shouldn't really be a con

Cool pics encendido...showed my son and he thinks that they are building those at our local store and wants to go tomorrow.

Which reminds me...Lego stores are having the same contest like last year where kids 14 and under can make a design for next Sept. mini-build. It ends on the 30th. Last year, Lego sent my kids a coupon for a free small PAB cup for participating in the contest.

Stopped at TRU today and found both Lambo's (yellow one, and the blue police one). Got both and a Fire Rescue set to get the discount. Gonna wait to see what Bricktober has in store and then return that Fire Rescue for some SW or Potter sets.

I managed to find a couple of series 2 minifigs at my lego store after a person just randomly decided to returns a whole bunch on the spot. I asked the cashier if those were for sale and he said yes. I scanned through all of them with my iphone and found disco stud, skier, mime, mexican, baywatch, and traffic cop. I wish they had the vampire or others but it was still fun to get these at their MSRP price instead of having to pay a dollar more at TRU.

Im upset I didnt get a chance to find series one though. Really wanted that robot.

Has no one mentioned the Star Wars sale at TRU... if you can call it a sale?

The ad shows some yellow starfighter for sale, and then 20% off three others including the Wampa Cave. Not a gigantic savings over their markups... but my girlfriend really wants that damn Wampa.

$1 off Plo Koon's Starfighter retail price...:applause:

I wanted to get Slave 1 but that is not included in the sale.

You do get a giftcard for buying X$ worth of SW stuff though.
