I think it will be the LBP theme that should arrive next week.

So, here's all the information you need regarding LBP's test.

There will be a limited public beta test for LittleBigPlanet in September. If it will be possible to "sign up" for this test, full information on how to do so will be made public in advance of the test. Similarly if the test is going to be conducted in an invitation-only we will let you know ahead of time.
 
So I pre-ordered and fully paid for LBP yesterday at GameStop and they told me I would get the Kratos skin ( which is cool ), I am confused about how to get the spacesuit and tshirt skins? Could someone explain to me if I am eligible?
 
Downloading the Beta now. It's sloooow.

You need to redeem the code using an Euro account. I hope they allow you to play it using a US one. My Euro account has no friends :cry:
 
This being a euro thing is making people think there'll be a method for US users to get into the beta. Just keep an eye out for that.
 
Pretty fun so far, but not overwhelmingly so. Played through the tutorial levels and a few levels coop online. The online experience made the levels much more interesting with a mix of competition for points as well as cooperation. Not sure if it was just my connection, but it was incredibly laggy and buggy. Still fun though. Also not sure how much I like using the analog stick for 2D movement.

People that like quick/fun coop gaming, content creation, and 2D platformers in general, are in for a treat.

probably for a patch or even the online components.
 
I believe they said it was to test the uploading of levels. If anyone is interested someone if live streaming the demo on Ustream. Let me find the link

New Info from Official PS Forums:

-Several sites will be giving out thousands of codes in the next 5 days.
-Email invitations are being sent today.
-These are the only ways to get into the beta.
-The LittleBigPlanet News Site will be giving out more details tomorrow.

Looks like he also said 'More codes are being issued through a website today, but I'm unable to say which one.' I got class all night so I will probably miss out.

RR one of us better get one!
 
There's A LOT of stuff to do in the beta/demo. It includes 4 story levels which are pretty short, a ton of tutorials on the different creation tools and the ability to create and play other people's levels online.

This game is going to be a huge time sink!

Oh my god, I can't wait for this to come out. I have it pre-ordered but not for the gifts. Are the gifts even real? Lol! Anyways I'm going to beat it then mess online =P
 
So has anyone found the site that is giving them out today?

This would be a great reason for me to turn on my ps3 as i'm still without a game (had to sell them all).
 
Anyone get all the items in the third level? I'm missing one(already 100%ed the other two levels) and it's driving me crazy.

You probably have to redeem the code on an AU account.

Finished up the tutorial levels. The last one has the great LBP theme playing through most of it, which is great. Played one of the user-created levels, an Uncharted-style platforming level, and got the #2 spot on the leaderboard. :D The intro/credit level is really cool. Think the E3 press conference for an idea of how that works.

I'll probably make a blog post of some pics I took of the game.
