Madden 10 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE (Tournament)- LOTS OF TEAMS AVAILABLE!

Need help from anyone. I experience my second case of "not being able to conect to my opponent". I had this issue with Azu and again the past three nights with Regain. Does anyone have or know of a test that can be run to assure that I have network connections correct. I am not sure if it my network or theres. I have my 360 set with DMZ enabled. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Do an xbox connectivity test to XBL and let me know if your NAT is "moderate" or "strict". If so you will need to enable upnp for the quickest fix.
 
I restored my router to factory settings last night, enabled DMZ and opened necessary ports to be sure. I did forget to re-enable uPnP. I will take you advice and try again. Thanks.
 
You should send him a pm, and preface you are sorry and willing to drop and wait. If he boots you, you can't rejoin.

It's really no problem. Nobody was taking action on trying to join anyway.
You'll have to kick yourself, the pitfall will switch to the Redskins, and you can take the Bengals.
The faster you can do that, the better :)
 
Okay I signed with the Bengals. Is there a list of rules? When are we allowed, if at all, to trade players and sign free agents?
 
At the end of WEEK 4 (this week) we're going to have a list of teams ranked worst to best in a waiver wire type deal.

No rules, except don't cheese. Otherwise just play fair and stay consistent with contacting opponents and such :)

I dominated 3 quarters of the game vs. the Vikings, but had Azu played as well all game long as he did in the 4th, it might have been a different story. I had the ball for 15 of 20 minutes and went up 23-0, but Azu scored 15 in the 4th (including recovering an onside kick) and made it close. It was a fun game.

I'll have the deadline for 11:59 tomorrow night, since I've only heard people wanting Friday. That'll leave us with the following unplayed games:

Lions vs. Bears (has been attempted, possible retry?)
Raiders vs. Texans (haven't heard anything)
Giants vs. Chiefs (I'll just assume somebody is away, haven't heard anything)
Titans vs. Jags (playing tomorrow night)


Then I guess week 5's deadline should be Thursday night, since many people won't be back till Monday. Sound fair?


Oh and Frankysox, I'll totally throw in a 3rd rounder. I believe there is a draft at the end of the season. It can work something like you tell me who to draft, I draft them and then send them to you. Sorry for never refreshing that Harvin/Housh trade.
 
Oh, and a bonus post to express how happy I am with the way things are going in this league! Almost every single person has played all of their games without a hitch.

No, not really. The only thing that would make me trade him is Peyton Manning or another QB at that level. But then I still would never trade him...
 
Sent a message to my opponent but havent gotten anything back from him. Hopefully he sees that because I would hate to have my game simmed.

He said after five EST I suggest 7:30 (like always) so hopefully he is there.

Dude Albo I was going to let it go but now I must make fun of you. There is a thing called trade etiquette that a lot of people just dont get. You really cant just come out of the blue and throw up random ass deals for no reason.

Just reminds me of when we were kids and trading basketball/baseball cards. Always that one kid who wanted to trade Kindell Gill for a Michael Jordan rookie card.

This is a franchise with real humans who can look at your team and see your needs, baby steps man.

By the way, I wouldnt trade Chris Johnson if Jesus himself was on the block because I am pretty sure CJ could beat him in a foot race.

Really? I would actually do that if I were you because Jesus could turn part of himself into water, have CJ drink him the night before the game and negatively affect his body like a parasite.

In all seriousness though as Soodmeg said, if you want to trade make pm an owner letting them know who you have interest in and see whom if anyone on your team they may like.

Which is exactly what I did, however Soodmeg spazzes out and thinks I'm forcing him to trade Johnson. Just call down, I wasn't expecting azu to trade AP, I was kidding with him. :roll:

You asked for AP then you asked for Chris Johnson. I just find it hilarious. Although seen just spoke for me for some reason I dont mind if trade talk is in the forum.

Again, I was just making fun of the fact that you asked for the leagues top players within 5 seconds of joining....which to be honest still makes me chuckle thinking about it.
 
How is it funny? What is the set time limit of which I can make offers? One week? It seems very stupid that you have a pre-set mental date of when you can make a trade. Most people in madden find running very redundant and boring compared to slinging the ball downfield so it seemed like a chance for me to trade my passing game for a run game. If you didn't want to consider trade Chris Johnson, say no thanks. If you can't take a joke, don't reply?

Yeah, he's really fucking good. I'm glad I don't have to deal with him in the regular season....If I make it to the playoffs hopefully somebody will eliminate him.
Albo, don't worry about it, its sood being sood. He's a really cool guy who knows his Madden.
