Madden 10 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE (Tournament)- LOTS OF TEAMS AVAILABLE!

Titans Shutout Jags 35 - 0.

The Titans took on their bitter Rivals the Jacksonville Jaguars on a rain soaked field today. The Titans who are becoming the leagues most "Traditional," team won the contest the same way the teams of yester year have won it. A strong running game and solid defense. Really solid defense.

The Titans defense held QB David Garrard to a career low 9.9 Passer Rating as he completed only 5 passes on 16 attempts for 82 yards, he was also picked off twice in the contest. Its hard to blame Garrard when he spent most of his time on his back side. The Jags O-Line let up 3 sacks along with 9 tackles for losses. The Jags running game wasnt helping the cause has MJD was held to -1 yard on 10 attempts.

On the other side of the ball the Titans stick to the game plan, pound the ball while Veteran QB Kerry Kollins manages the game. " I dont have to do much and thats a good thing. I basically just have to not turn the ball over." Manage he did pulling a impressive 127.5 Passer Rating on only 6 Completions for 86 yards., 2 of those were TD passes to Justin Gage and Jared Cook Jr.

The Titans "Smashed," more than "Dash'ed," as Lendale White eclipse the century mark with 100 yards rushing and 2 Touchdowns while his partner in crime Chris Johnson ran for 87 yards.

Key Stats
Kerry Kollins 127.5 Passer Rating 6 for 10 86 Yards 2 TD
David Garrard 9.9 Passer Rating 5 for 16 82 Yards

Lendale White 100 Yards Rushing 2 Touchdowns
Chris Johnson 87 Yards Rushing
Maurice Jones Drew -1 Yards Rushing on 10 Attempts

Titans Defense 9 Tackles for loss, 3 Sacks, 2 Interceptions 1 returned for TD.
How is it funny? What is the set time limit of which I can make offers? One week? It seems very stupid that you have a pre-set mental date of when you can make a trade. Most people in madden find running very redundant and boring compared to slinging the ball downfield so it seemed like a chance for me to trade my passing game for a run game. If you didn't want to consider trade Chris Johnson, say no thanks. If you can't take a joke, don't reply?
Yeah, I dont really know what just happened. I dont even remember you making a joke but ok. I just found it funny to ask for two of the best RB in the game 5 seconds after you joined. Why did I find it funny? Because its like joining a NBA league then asking if Kobe is available then when he is not you settle for trying to get Dwight Howard.

There is no guidelines for trading you can offer a million trades if you would like but I made fun of Mr. Grand Chru for offering me Mushin Mummand (Car WR SP) for Cortland Finagan. Its just so out there that its funny.

Its not that big of a deal. Just funny to me.

EDIT:
Moonknight had some bullshit calls go against him though. There was a face mask on a 4 and 1 I tried to go for which he stopped. Then he got called for roughing the Passer on a 3rd down attempt that he might have stopped. Both of which resulted in TD's for me.

Also Ronde Barber dropped a god damn pick six. It hit him in the hands, could have sworn this was the exact reason why I traded for him. Bastard.
Come on soodmeg, use lube!
Yeah, he's really fucking good. I'm glad I don't have to deal with him in the regular season....If I make it to the playoffs hopefully somebody will eliminate him.
Albo, don't worry about it, its sood being sood. He's a really cool guy who knows his Madden.
Don't worry, I'll do it.

Is that so Shin? Some mighty big words. You know I already hate the Chargers with the fire of a thousand suns and my back ups have better stats than your starters.

We will see.

hahaha i did offer muhammed for finnegan ,......lol i laughed when i sent u the trade myself , ...lol but is tom brady really on the trade block ? and albo imight offer up jonathan stewart possibly for ochocinco ? what u think ???
hahaha i did offer muhammed for finnegan ,......lol i laughed when i sent u the trade myself , ...lol but is tom brady really on the trade block ? and albo imight offer up jonathan stewart possibly for ochocinco ? what u think ???
I'm not too keen on Stewart. DeAngelo would suit me well, what exactly are you looking for? Receiver help? How about something along the lines of Coles and Ochocinco for DeAngelo? That's two receivers, 87 overall and 89 overall, for one running back and you still have a great young backup.

ahhhh thats tough cus deangelo is young and fast i love speed stewart is a different type of guard still good though but inno ahhhhh

Well I hope you can get your decision to me quickly. Two star receivers for a star runningback seems fair when you have a insanely young and good backup. Especially when I'm going to have a 69 overall as my top receiver. :(

Albo23, no offense man but I really have a big distaste for people who join leagues and gut teams as you are proposing to do; if you quit someone will be left with this crapshoot of a team you're trying to build. Further no professional team in their right mind would offer their 2 starting WR's for a RB.
is tom brady really on the trade block?
Wow, who started that one? I am having a hard time because I need some better corners, and wouldn't mind a slight upgrade at RB either; damn Patriots aren't perfect enough for me to win yet :dunce:

I'm not gutting the team. I want to switch to the run game. I'm also not quitting, I've been on CAG for two years now and I know I'm going to be here for the next season.

Where's the Fins at? I should be on most of this afternoon after a quick errand now. And pretty much all day tomorrow.

Glad to see I sort of held my own in that ugly game against Sood, maybe there's a chance. Haha.

And it looks like its my turn to be the sacrifice to that which is Soodmeg. Are you available this weekend? I'd like to get the slaughter over with.

Sorry I am away and without my X-Box untill late Monday night because of the holiday weekend.

Oh shit, I didnt even know we advanced weeks. Yeah Homeland I will be here for the next couple hours and then I am going to see a movie. But my friends want to play some rock band so I should be around my xbox most of the day.

My bad, I usually try to stay on the ball about getting games schedule asap.

no problem and wasn't asking to play now or even tonight specifically just sometime this weekend or even monday since its a holiday
Sorry I am away and without my X-Box untill late Monday night because of the holiday weekend.
No worries. Let me know if you want to get it in on Monday or wait until Tuesday. Both nights should be fine with me.

Oh thats cool. Well, like I said I can play most of today, I have to work until like 6pm tomorrow but free after that. Monday should be able to play anytime after 2pm.
I spazz out? I clearly said I was kidding but still was going to make fun of you for asking people to trade their best players 3 seconds after you joined the league.

You asked for AP then you asked for Chris Johnson. I just find it hilarious. Although seen just spoke for me for some reason I dont mind if trade talk is in the forum.

Again, I was just making fun of the fact that you asked for the leagues top players within 5 seconds of joining....which to be honest still makes me chuckle thinking about it.
Ha ha! He also asked if I (Rams) would trade Steven Jackson. No way, man! He's all I have!

neworlbush25,

I might be around late tonight if you want to play, but if you need something more definite let me know of a time Monday or Tuesday night that might work.
Naw, I have school starting Tuesday. I can play all day today and tomorrow (afaik) but after that evenings are all I can do.
I'm on now if you can play!

Great game with Azumangaman (Vikings). Rams ended up winning 32-27. It was a nail-biter up until the end — Azu ran a kickoff back for a TD to come within 5 with about a minute left, so it all came down to the onside kickoff. Steven Jackson had a great day with 152 rushing yards (2 TDs) and 125 receiving (2 TDs). Rams D also held Adrian Peterson to just 64 yards on the ground and 1 TD.

It was a really great game. I couldn't believe Jackson. I've played against the Rams before and have always destroyed Jackson. You must be really good with that Juke stick!

It's funny you say that, because I've never had luck running the football until this year's Madden. I think the slower game speed combined with an OK Rams O-line is allowing me to see the hole better. Plus, I think the developers really gave Jackson some superstar abilities — seeing as how he's really the only quality player on the Ram's roster!

Anyway, I don't know how you kept hit-sticking me. It seemed like every tackle as a big hit, and I held my breath every time thinking there was going to be a fumble! I guess it's all in the timing, but I just couldn't avoid getting smashed at the end of almost every play!

Jackson and your defense tore me up. I played pretty well against Azu, but got shut out by you, yet you and Azu had a competitive game. Craziness.

Haha yeah its crazy. I think I have my offense figured out. Defense, not so much.

I think that speaks to the quality of the game and how individualized the experience is for each player.

But with our game, you had those two kickoff return fumbles that really changed how I played the remainder of the game. I spent that game trying to hold on to the ball as long as I could. With my game against Azu, there were zero turnovers and just one penalty, so it really was more about scoring for me.

Without those two turnovers, we likely would have had a different game.

good game Soodmeg. You dominated the whole 4 quarters. I had hopes on my opening drive (usually my first throw is an interception.. this time my first play was a delay of game penalty, I call that an improvement) but that quickly evaporated. Luckily I have a bye week so the colts can regroup and finish the season strong.

Titans Defeat Colts in Rivalry Game.

The Titans clashed against their bitter foes, the Indianapolis Colts today in a game that surprisingly enough featured the Colts as the underdogs. The Colts looked good on their opening drive as Peyton Manning found ways to keep the offense on the field converting on three third down attempts, ending with Gijon Robinson punching it in on his only rush for the game. Unfortunately that was the only bright spot for the Colts running game. Joseph Addai was held to a career low -14 yards on 9 attempts. The other Colts runners didnt fair so well either as Rookie D. Brown was held to 8 yards and Robinson to 6.

Other than an exciting display of the 2 minute drive which Titans QB lead his offense 60 yards for a last second TD throw to Jared Cook Jr. The Titans offense featured a steady dose of the running game in which Chris Johnson racked up 63 yards and a TD but that is neither here or there. The storyline for the Titans this season has been defense and today was no different.

The Titans defense stuffed the Colts runners 10 times in the backfield as well sitting down Peyton Manning twice for sacks. Cortland Finnegan proved again that he is the most under rated shutdown DB in the NFL with his two interceptions both returned for touchdowns totaling 147 yards. Cortalnd now leads the NFL in interception return yards with only Malcom Jenkins of the New Orleans Saints close in 2nd.

Good game Homeland. Peyton and his damn clutch 3rd downs was killing me in the beginning. He can throw so accurately off his back foot.
Franky, I'll be able to play our game later tonight around 6pm
Are you available at all tomorrow? Hopefully we don't have any issues with lag on the first connect!

I can play around 6pm Franky
Dolphins just get back to me and let me know if we're going to try to do this tonight or another day.
Later tomorrow night or Wednesday would be better for me like around 10:30 pm est. Does either time and day work better for you?

Both should work just fine. Let's try tomorrow then, but I'll post here during the day if I look at my calendar at work and something comes up that I'm forgetting.
Any interest in our trade Franky?
I'm going to try and hold out a little longer with him. He's got my only TD's the last two games. So I think I'll pass for now, but I'll definitely keep you in mind if I have a change of heart.
I can play around 6pm Franky
Hey I totally forgot today was a holiday. I'm waiting for a replacement lamp for me TV to be delivered so I can stop playing on the crappy set I'm using now. Obviously they wont be delivering it today so would you mind waiting until tomorrow or Wednesday? It's supposed to be here tomorrow but if it's not, or you don't want to wait that long, I'd be willing to suck it up and play on my POS I've been using the last week.
