Madden 10 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE (Tournament)- LOTS OF TEAMS AVAILABLE!

Alright we need to get the hell going on this. Lets get these games done and get on to the play offs has quickly as possible. We should be done by the end of the weekend.
 
Yes, I know but my game doesnt mean anything. I can play or not play my game and it doesnt really matter.

I just really want to be done by this weekend because I cant seem to come up with the money for L4D2 and if push comes to shove it will really piss me off that I own Madden and not L4D2.

looks like we advanced to the playoffs. i'm a bit unsure on why I don't have the bye. I have all of the tiebreakers.

In my post I said tonight was probably NOT good because I have some NBA league games I need to get in. However if you're on pretty late I could play then.
 
EDIT: By the way something Franky and I had a funny talk it was very similar to that South Park episode where the boys dont want to play baseball anymore so they keep trying to lose. (Not to put you on blast franky) It was just funny.

Alright, since we seemed to have hit a small wall and not a single wild card game has been played yet I am gonna go ahead and drop from the league. Although still pretty shitty at least I want knock anyone out and then quit at the superbowl or something.

As for a reason why I am, its simple, I had a deadline and it ends today. I only have enough extra money to pick up 1 or 2 games this cycle and I just flat out refuse to own madden and not Fifa or Left for dead 2. I have said this many times through out this league. Sorry to bail at such a late stage and I admit now that I probably should have seen this and got out earlier I just really wanted to finish which is why I was pushing at the end.

Azu, thank you for another solid league even in the face of all the mess that happened in it. Thanks for those who played their games in a timely fashion and played hard.

As for my opinion of the league itself. I really didnt enjoy it that much, which isnt a knock on Azu at all. Even with last years league being complete chaos I had more fun. The entire 2nd half of the season I spent less time playing and more time wondering which play would set off a 10 page bitch fest from my opponent.

From the great, "WR Screen = FS playing TE," debate to the equally retarded, "I gave up playing defense but am super pissed that you kept scoring," debacle. There was too much bitching not enough quality discussion going on, EG: Summaries, stats, leagues pages and most of that is my fault because I am the one who does them and I gave up after seen took offense to how I worded them somehow.

Good luck to you guys still in it, have fun in the play offs and off season. Since BigAt is my madden Rival I hope he wins it all.

Sood, that's too bad you're leaving but I'm not sure why if your biggest issue was the arguments you had with people that you're digging them up again on your way out. I suggest anyone who still has issues with whatever he's still bitching about to ignore it so we can get these playoffs done.

I'm playing my game vs the Raiders tonight at 7, btw.
 
Not digging them up, simply reflecting on the league, I am not going to shy away from saying it. It was the sole reason why I stopped caring half way through and didnt have any fun.

But you are right in the fact that it doesnt need to be a huge deal, good luck in the play offs man.
 
Franky, I don't know what you were talking about playing Sood, we're matched up in the first round (NCAA re-re-match!). What time can you play today?
 
Yeah, Franky thought we were still on week 17 which is why he kept requesting to play me. I just assumed that I was his match up somehow and we had advanced past the wild card round.
 
Sood, thats too bad, I've been looking forward to playing you in the AFC Championship since week 3 or 4, when you beat someone 80 to whatever the score was.....too bad I'll miss out on such great comp
 
Blah, totally shit the bed tonight on that game. Sort of lame i had to play the game in the first place, but once I got L4D2 in my hands today my concentration pretty much went out the window. Not too upset I lost.
 
Rams go into the Frozen Tundra and overpower the Packers 34-3 in a Wildcard game to advance in the playoffs. Steven Jackson piled up 193 yards on the ground with three touchdowns. The Rams D, uncharacteristically, came up with three interceptions and one fumble recovery to keep the Packers' offense off-track.

Good game, Matt. Some of those INTs were pretty weird, if you ask me. Certainly didn't have anything to do with MY playing, that's for sure.

Lyric, after shutting me out 23-0 in the regular season, gave me the worst beatdown I've received in any sports game, ever. I turned the ball over on my first 5 possessions, and he scored after every turnover. I was down 24-0 at halftime, and I only had 1 good drive all game long, which ended in a field goal from the 1.

What's weird is all my saved audibles were gone when we started the game. Has this happened to anyone else? I recently switched out my 360 for a Jasper, but I just moved the hard drive. I don't think that would have done anything, right?
 
Brandon Jacobs comes back after being out for 8 weeks and helps the Giants roll into the next round of the playoffs.

The only remaining playoff game for this round is Chargers/Steelers, which is confusing because it's just shinryuu vs. the CPU.
 
Not that it matters but the seeding is all messed up:

1. Panthers
2. Cardinals
3. Giants
4. Packers
5. Seahawks (tied but has better divional record)
6. Rams
so thus the giants should have played the rams and the packs with seahawks
but the game was actually flip flopped. theres nothing we can do but pretty much in my opinion this would have been a more fair or entertaining matchup based on the player skills ive seen. lyric has a very "unique" way of playing i think bigAT would have matched up against better anyways that being said, if i manage my game against big that means i either play mr grand cru or lyric...both of which have very interesting offensive playbooks i guess you could say haha either way itll be tough but i did manage to beat both of em. ill be looking forward to it but first things first: BigAT haha we had a great match up in the regular season. looking forward to a great game
 
The problem is that EA dropped the ball (again) and the tiebreakers Madden uses for online franchises and completely incorrect compared to the real NFL standards. In another league I'm in, someone completely missed the playoffs as a result. They were tied for their division and had the correct tiebreakers to get in, but the other team got in anyway. Thankfully here it has only affected seeding and not screwed anyone over too badly.
 
Yeah I definitely didn't understand why I was seeded over Franky. He beat me twice in the regular season. I seriously doubt I'm going any further in the playoffs anyway, so I'll be out soon enough so the real players can get on with it.
 
Can someone prod Shin to play his game? There's absolutely no reason we shouldn't be advanced by now.
 
It looks like Sood didn't remove his team from the franchise. Could you boot him so that the Raiders could get their game in?
