Rams luck finally runs out in Carolina as the Panthers best St. Louis 31-21. Steven Jackson had another big game with 109 yards rushing, 118 yards receiving and all three touchdowns. However, two costly third-quarter INTs by Marc Bulger were the difference.

How is it that both weeks the last game to be played has been a player vs. CPU???

Hey Big At , I not sure when we are advancing but I. Won't able to play until Sunday probably because I'm going to New York until late Saturday. If I get in at a reasonable time than ill let you know and we might can shoot for Saturday evening.

Lyric good game again you by far had the best running game I've faced hopefully steven jackson helpedd prepare me for brandon jacobs

gg Grand Cru, my defense showed up in a big way today. 2 sacks, 3 interceptions (one user!) and a safety. It was a very Giants type of game, good defense, efficient passing and a solid running attack.

Giants are off to the Super Bowl with the win, where hopefully Brandon Jacobs (torn shoulder labrum) will have enough time with the week off to recover and be healthy enough to play.

Glad to see bigAt in it but hate the fact that I cant beat him for the title. Especially after he beat me from the replacement league one. DAMN YOU ASANTE SAMUEL!!!

Now is the time to start thinking about administering free agency and the rules for trades that involved draft picks...

The guy that I traded a first rounder to for Carson Palmer is no longer a member of the league...just an example of the types of issues that may arise during the off-season.
 
Hey guys. Raiders owner looks like he won't be available tonight, but on Friday. I'm VERY busy this weekend (Thanksgiving + Wedding), so, is it okay if we delay our game till next week? I know we're close to finishing the season, but ya'know... oh wait, Azu lives in Canada.

I like this and would consider sticking around for another season with this implemented. Although, with the way things are dying out now, part of me wonders how many people will even be wanting to play another season. You should probably do a roll call just to make sure it's even worth your time.

I like the general pacing of seen's league (aside from not having concrete deadlines...although he did just adopt some), and think that 2 games a week...especially if we only have 12-15 human controlled teams would be easily doable. Advancing weeks on Monday and Friday (assuming that people have more free time on the weekend...thus 3 days over the weekend to get a game played and 4 days during the week) would probably work.
 
my game will be here thursday, i will totally play season 2 if you guys do one, dont really care what team i am... would enjoy using the packers

Yeah, it really is. I know Azu has a really hands off style of running a league, and I admire him for being able to keep a cool head and not let things get to him. But I have to say, when you have a season run for a couple months, and get to the playoffs, only to have multiple teams drop as you're nearing the home stretch, it really makes the league pointless.

I don't mean this as an insult to anybody, but just looking at it objectively, there was already one CPU playoff team, and now, what...2 guys have dropped? Speaking from the perspective of someone whose team didn't make the playoffs, it's really frustrating to see essentially 3 spots filled by the CPU when there were human players who didn't make it.

Obviously, nobody can have the foresight to see this happening, but it's disheartening. At this rate, the Super Bowl is going to be BigAT vs the CPU, lol. Again, this isn't a knock on Azu, but having guys drop out with only a couple games left to play just seems like a failure to me.

if you didn't drop sood, would you be sitting on your couch with Madden in the disc drive with your arms folded waiting for them to play?

(this is stupidly slow though. i'm glad the other league is moving along and the league i'm running is keeping a rather set schedule.)
 
I am sorry ubernes I dont quite get what you are saying? If I didnt drop I would be in here everyday posting about people playing there games...like I did when I was around.
 
I think ubernes is mentioning that regardless of if you were in the league or not, you probably would have done most of those video-game related activities anyway.

Well, I was told to wait an extra bunch of days so a certain somebody could play somebody else, but a certain person has decided to drop, essentially wasting a week.

So to be fair, I'll have to give the Raiders owner a bit of time to play his game, but if its not done by Wednesday night I'll have to sim.

After that game the Superbowl should go quickly.

I plan on setting a full, hardcore 17-week schedule (and by 17 weeks I mean 16 games, 2 games a week) and a 3-STRIKE system. We'll probably have around 16 people (or less) by the time the league starts again, so speeding through shouldn't be a problem.

I'm really sorry about this guys :(
 
Hey Azu did you get my message on suggestions about how i can go about recieving the picks thats owed to me since those owners have droped.
 
I have been trying to play games as much as possible. I emailed and said I could play this last Saturday or Sunday, then Monday night, then Wednesday night. Then I got a message saying he was going to drop. I am disappointed everyone dropped out too but it has never taken me more then 2 days to play a game when I have someone who wants to play.
 
Azu, advance this sucker when you get the chance. Mikejones, I can play tomorrow. What's your availability?

For the next season why don't we have a system where if you don't play your game by a point and it's clear one party is more at fault, they're booted for just that game so there opponent can play the CPU instead of getting a simulated lost. I mean my record stunk, but the way things worked out I could have maybe got a few more wins without sim losses. I probably won a few games this way too.
 
Hey Azu, i was wondering if you were still moving to my division at the end of the season and i also wanted to know if you got my message with my suggestions about the draft.
