I would say 5-7 days. This week is tough for some with Easter on Sunday, a lot of people will be away from their xboxes Fri-Sun. I know I will. And see above. Also, the Eagles are trying to play games tonight as well. So whoever is playing him, he should be on at like 8-9pm EST for his other league game so you can catch him then. Scotts, if a specific time tonight works for you, let me know and I can text him.

Finished My Game, I beat Houston 47 to 10. Scored 5 TD Tosses with Brady and I was able to go the whole game without a Penalty or Turning the Ball Over. It was a good start, but I'm looking forward to playing a Human Opponent in Week 2. I've got MasterAwesome this week (Chicago Bears) I'm pretty much avaliable at any time to Play.

414 passing yards and 9 rushing yards. Reminds me of the 07 Pats. :D
 
Cedric Benson fumbled and some random Browns player returned it 80+ yards to win the game...Wow.
Palmer threw 5 ints. I'm totally screwed, haha.
 
Ouch. I was actually looking at the Browns as a potential team to switch to. Harrison and Hillis is a nice one-two punch at HB/FB, plus Lewis is a good backup. Couple new QBs to work with too. I imagine their D is still pretty suspect though.

Apparently not, they forced 7 turnovers!
It's pretty easy to run all over them though, I should have ran twice as much.

I used to always slaughter the CPU, usually takes me a game or two to get used to a new team. I've only played 2 games with the Bengals online before this.

That's why I almost never bother using new playbooks and just use ones I know I'm good with.

Lmao Yeah I was like 'Eff it I don't need to run.' I'd like to develop the running game at least a little bit though at some point.
 
To go back to the advancing question for a second, when I get back Sunday evening I'll take a look at where we are at and set up a hard deadline. I would think tonight a few games will be played and after the weekend we won't have much left.
 
Rashard Mendenhall is up for grabs if anyone wants em. Hes 86 ovr, B Pot, with 94 trucking. I just prefer speed backs. So if anyone wants em lemme kno. Im looking for a CB
 
I've never been this depressed after a 27-0 win. Late in the third quarter Eli Manning went down with a broken collarbone that is going to keep him out for 7 weeks. :cry:

Does anyone have a solid backup QB they want to talk about trading? I have some pieces that I would be willing to move for the right player.
 
Oh, and this talk about backup QB's reminds me that I picked up JP Losman today. The draft cut my 7 bottom players, so all my backup QB's went with it!

Alright, sorry for the late notice, but whoever the Vikings are...I'm only available tonight (probably until 3 a.m. Eastern) or kinda early tomorrow, like before 11 a.m. I'm up at college right now but I'm going home tomorrow at around 11 and I'm leaving my xbox here so I won't get a chance to play until probably late Sunday otherwise.
 
If anyone wants to play a practice game or two at some point while we're waiting to advance, feel free to shoot me a PM to set something up.

The next Madden game I play against a human opponent online will be my first, so I could certainly use the warm-up.
 
Great week 1 so far, only two h2h games left which are on hold until Sunday night due to the holiday weekend. Plenty of vs CPU games left to be played though. Seems to be shaping up to a Tuesday evening deadline but I'll update everyone Sunday.
 
Depserately need help at CB and possibly LB... Willing to listen to any offer not including Flacco, Rice, Boldin, or Ngata...

I'm available any time after 3 p.m. on Monday and 2 p.m. on Tuesday (eastern time), I can stay up pretty late if need be, but I have classes in the morning, so I'd prefer to do it sometime before midnight.

We were going to play Friday after Eagles played a game in another league but he messaged me saying he was done for the night and I haven't heard from him since.

He's been out of state as of Friday due to the holiday. I'll make sure he gets back to you about those times though.
 
We should have a weekly award for most shameless stat-padding running it up on the CPU. Several strong contenders this week (including me). :D

Nope, you're doing fine. If neither of us hear from him by say 4 pm EST tomorrow then I'll definitely have him temporarily booted before 7pm EST so you can play your game before or around the same time as Eagles/Saints.

For everyone new to the league: This is how we've operated before. If someone is obviously making a much bigger effort to play the game and it isn't working, the other person will be temp booted so I'm not forced to sim it. If the game is vs CPU and the human player is just MIA, I'll just sim it. No need for vs CPU games to be holding up the league.

Scotts, you're my opponent next week. Excluding Wednesday evening, I have a rather open schedule, especially on Thursday. Let me know what works for you.

Anybody want to play a game for fun today? I feel like using a terrible team for no real reason on XBL.

PS: The guy that signed up as the Falcons has 1 post on CAG, and hasn't been online since March 21st...

I'd be up for it. I'm completely new to online, so it wouldn't hurt to get a game in before having to play one that counts.

Well, I couldn't connect to bvharris or darth, but then I realized I forwarded ports to the wrong place. SO, I forwarded them to the right place and beat some loser using the Ravens with the Buccaneers.
I really like the Bucs in this game. So much so that I wish they weren't taken in our league. Then again, they don't have Antonio Bryant in our league...

Yeah, if you don't have the dedication to play a game against the CPU in 5-7 days you deserve a sim loss.

7 pm works for Tuesday. I'm going out of town though on Wednesday, which I rarely do, will be back Sunday. If I need to be temp dropped then so be it.
 
Great. So we're going to advance after the 7pm h2h game tomorrow. Assuming I don't hear from the Vikes and he sets up a time for later in the evening, then I'll boot him during the day and MasterAwesome can play vs CPU. So everyone expect 8pm EST Tuesday for the start of week 2.
