I had a feeling that was the case, but I had to guess on some of these.

As for Monday, I'm pretty much free until 6pm EST. And then late that night. (bowling league!) I guess we won't make definite plans until we know were advancing tonight, but I could tentatively do 4pm.
 
Eagles and I are scheduled to play at 7PM.

I'll be on playing Red Dead, just have him message me when he's available (though I'll probably see him sign on) and then I'll switch over to Madden.
 
Good game versus the Eagles. He had some tough bounces, since all three fumbles in the game (2 by him, 1 by me) I was able to recover. Add in the game-sealing INT I made on his last possession, and it's tough to do much when losing the turnover battle like that, but he gave me a good run regardless. Vince Young only attempted 4 passes (completing 3) since it was all running game for me today. The back-breaker came after the Eagles kicked a FG to draw within a TD at 17-10, Chris Johnson took the very next offensive play 66 yards to the house.

24-10 the final, and the Titans move to 12-1 on the season.

As I'm about to advance us, here's this week's schedule:

h2h
Bengals vs Jets
Cowboys vs Eagles (let me know when you want to play and I can set it up quickly)
Ravens vs Pats

Everyone else is obviously vs the CPU.

All 3 games are pretty big this week. Although with losses by both the Eagles and Cowboys this week, their game doesn't have nearly as much riding on it. THOUGH, the Lions and Vikings lost too, so I guess it's just as up for grabs, I believe.
 
GG Azu, I just couldn't sit there for 40 seconds watching the clock tick. Especially with the way I played. Terrible. I generally own up to my losses (and not really saying I'm not here), but god damn did my secondary fall asleep that game. So many passes in traffic to Chad that I thought should've at least been tipped would go between all my guys for a catch, usually for 15, 20 yards.

edit: oh and that fumble when I finally got things going didn't help either (!!!). Greene has a super high carry rating too, I couldn't believe it as you could see from my desperate challenge haha.

edit2: I shouldn't say "SO MANY" more like a few backbreaking ones, haha. I think that image of Cromartie looking like he had an easy pick and the ball sailing JUST over his hands will haunt me forever.

edit3: I should've never put the Titans at odds from #1 seed! counter-jinxed myself.

Final thoughts: The Bengals are going to be tough come playoff time, and losing to them now puts me in the position to possibly get revenge in the second round of the playoffs. I know I only lost by a TD, but I felt Azu was in control of the game as soon as he went up 14-7. I think it was 28-7 at one point thanks to my pick-six I threw, so I was really clawing back in that 4th quarter. The Jets going forward need to do what they always do, rely on their defense to keep the game closer than 21 points so the game doesn't rest of the arm of Mark Sanchez. Besides his 2 picks and a couple more errant throws, he looked pretty good out there. As of now I'm drawing a tough team after the Wild Card round, either the Ravens or the Bengals, both teams who have beat me good.

I feel ya ubernes. I was stunned by the way I tore Revis to shreds, not that I'm complaining.
Kids, watch out, the Bengals have trumped 2 division leaders in the AFC, and the CPU Bengals lost the other one.
I have to admit, I was pretty terrified when you put up 14 points in 5 seconds to make the score 28-21.
I thought you left because I ran the ball, so I felt bad and kneeled :p I was only going to kick a field goal, haha.
This should likely keep the Titans at the number 1 seed, so I'll hopefully see them in the Divisional Playoff round, after I knock off the Jets for a second time ;)
It's also worth noting that Leon Hall has 5 INT's in the last 4 games (2,2,0,1). I believe both my starting CB's are at 7 INT's a piece :D
 
I always forget how inaccurate the Madden playoffs are in online franchise. Do the #1 seed Titans play the lowest seed, or do they just play the winner of the 4 vs 5 game?

Either way it looks like this right now.

3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 - first round

I feel like I'll draw the Ravens/Bengals winner no matter what, but I hope Madden is actually accurate and with a Bengals W I would draw the Pats/Chargers winner, at least I know I can actually beat them. So, Go Bengals?

I can't really remember, but I'm pretty sure that I'd always play the highest seed in Madden. The tiebreakers are terrible, but the seeding as the playoffs go on are correct, I think.

Hahah yeah I was like, 'if only this happened about 3 minutes earlier'. I think my 3rd TD came right AT the 2 minute mark so I didn't get that extra time stoppage which I needed since I blew it on that challenge call. My offense was rolling at that point, but getting it back again was easier said than done.
 
Eh, guess I missed my potential opportunity. I shut down the computer Saturday night and did not get back on till after 1 A.M. Monday morning. I had had things spoiled by Facebook and other sites before, and being on the west coast, I wasn't going to risk having Lost spoiled for anything.

Man, I'm playing the CPU Falcons and threw a bomb into the end zone. Colston caught the jump ball about 3 yards into the end zone, got tackled and landed with the ball fully across the goal line. Touchdown right? Well the CPU challenged and reversed the call to First and goal on the 1? Really? Way to go Madden.
 
Honestly I hate that, it seems to happen to me a lot lately, I'm getting pissed about it. Plus I've had some shit non calls on TDs, One I CLEARLY Caught the ball in the Endzone and they ruled it a no TD. :\
 
Yeah, I think this Madden is by far the worst in terms of referee calls and glitches. On numerous occasions, an incomplete pass is thrown (the receiver doesn't even catch the ball period) and they cut to the referee who signals it a catch but then they treat it as an incompletion anyways? And there are so many moments where the receiver catches the ball and gets a good 3-4 steps in and runs out of bounds and they cut to the referee who calls it an incompletion.

On a side note...I finally got one of those CPU beat-downs that the Titans and Saints always seem to get (63-10). I still managed to throw 3 picks though, mainly due to me being greedy and trying to bomb some throws at the end to run up the score even more. My goal is to have a positive TD/Interception ratio by the end of the season...pretty pathetic I know.

And to Ubernes and anyone else interested: I'd definitely like to get some scrims in before the playoffs. I don't know if you actually wanted to set up a time or just to casually get a game in whenever we're both on, but let me know how you wanna go about it.

Tomorrow and Wed I should be around most of the day until like 6pm EST. Then I'm swamped until next Tuesday more or less.
 
Also, if we're adding to the list, fix the screen pass. I know they shouldn't always work and every now and again they do, but I've had so many drives shuttered due to either the HB not running into the flats or him catch the ball going the wrong direction and being unable to turn up field. The way a player turns isn't sharp enough, they can't cut 90 degrees, they have to fully round the corner to head up field. Drives me up a wall.

At least for me, this happens far more on WR screens than it does on HB screens. The guy will catch it and then try to make a full circle before heading upfield, instead getting tackled for a 5 yard loss.
 
Waiting for the Cowboys to give me a time frame for the Eagles.

But if that gets done relatively quickly, I'd like to advance us before the weekend if possible. I'll be gone Fri-Mon and I imagine most of us will be busy then too, so instead of waiting til Monday to advance, it would be nice to get it done by Friday morning but we'll see.
 
Just finished my game. It was played in driving rain against the Raiders, so I resolved at the beginning to take Young and Johnson out once I got ahead comfortably. That took longer than it should have, since they gave me way more trouble than the final score would indicate. I blame the rain. As always I couldn't resist running it up a bit on the CPU, the final was 41-7.

One step closer to locking up the #1 seed, the last real obstacle in my path is the Cowboys next week. Given that they beat the Giants already, I certainly won't be looking past them.
 
The Baltimore Ravens Rolled into Foxboro touting a Defensive Swagger that few had been able to match over the course of the Season. New England was not daunted by this and came out and took the Lead with a Fred Taylor Touchdown. Baltimore later matched that effort with a Kelly Washington 28 Yard TD Making it 7-7. Then Cundiff would add a 41 Yard Field Goal to make it 10-7 at Half Time in favor of Baltimore. The turning point came when Ravens Webb was returning a Punt and Fumbled followed by a Scoop and Score by Jonathan Wilhite. New England's Special Teams shined as they blocked 2 Kicks and Returned a Punt for a TD. The Backbreaker came on a 3rd & 6 when Tom Brady showed the Poise that Champions are made of, hanging back in the pocket under the face of pressure as he hit WR Julian Edelamn for a 64 Yard Touchdown. Baltimore would answer back but on the ensuing kick New England would recover and kneel on the Ball to go to 12-2 on the Season going on a Season Ending Road Trip as they close out the 2010 Season @ BUF and @ NYJ.

I was heavily outnumbered in Total Yardage by 327 to 171, It seemed like more of a defensive struggle sort of game to me, good thing I'm able to block FGs haha as Brady was only 8/15, 138 Yards, 1 TD and 1 INT, Only other scorer on Offense was Fred Taylor who had 1 Rush. Anyways this will certainly make the Playoff Seeding interesting. Seems like both of us had chances we missed and such but anyways GG Deuce. I think I'm seeded 3rd Now? If I can pull out a win against Uubernes I'll be primed for a 1st Round Bye. Also I'm not sure but I THINK I might get Moss back providing I make it to the Super Bowl, After this week It'll be 4 Remaining and we've got 2 Games in the Reg. Season Left. Then another 2 or 3 in the Playoffs, so I'm not sure.
