Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!

The rookie would be perfectly fine with me just let me know the price wether its. Draft pics or a posistion player my 3rd cb is gonna be diecent just unfortunately not soon enough......

Ignoring some of the more flashy positions on the field, the Giants have spent their first pick in the last two drafts on a LG and a fullback respectively. The results have been good so far as the Giants' running game was unleashed upon the Philadelphia Eagles this afternoon.

Brandon Jacobs had a hell of a game, running for 145 yards and 5 touchdowns. Ahmad Bradshaw provided a nice change of pace and picked up 26 yards of his own. Even Andre Brown (aka Baby Brandon) broke out for 43 yards rushing on just 5 carries. All of this was enough to overcome an impressive Eagles passing attack which picked up large gains through most of the game, but also turned the ball over twice giving the Giants a short field and easy scoring opportunities.

GG Pacer.
Are you planning to take the playoff picture from last year down from the XFN site at some point? :D
Haha, I been wondering the same for some time now.

Update for our game. I got power back at my house. I can probably play today from 7-10 EST. I'll see if that time works for the Falcons.

Texans vs Titans game is happening tonight around 10pm est. Looking forward to this big divisonal game. Sorry yesterday had a busy day didn't really have time to look at forums yesterday.

maybe.
maybe.
lol.

Can you at least do a stats update so I can marvel over this brief moment in time where Rivers has yet to throw a pick. :D

Great...another 2 picks for Berry. Is it too early to give up on the DPOY award? I say we just implement our "ridiculous stats" rule and take Berry out of contention for that award!! No one would have 7 picks in the first 2 games of the season!!!!

hah, yeah I know. I was happy looking over that Wilson had like 7-8 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 FF. but he might as well pack it in for that award now.

hey you cant just take Eric Berry out of contention for the DPOY award, He has been working extremely hard in the off season to excel his game and defend his title.
Hopefully he breaks his collarbone soon :D
Well you will have the opportunity to make that happen, when we meet later in the season lol

Don't worry guys, I got him in Week 5...Jonathan Stewart will be practicing his trucking moves in the week to come...maybe a couple of stiff arms for good measure.

Eric Berry will be preparing by going Head-Up with Frank Gore, this week in practice, He also will do his best to send at least two of you players off the feild on a stretcher.

Earlier, I had another epic down to the wire battle with Detroit/itlnstln. Our game at the end of last season ended with the Packers winning 41-38 in overtime, and this one went to the extra period as well. Not to take away from itlnstln, but I had quite a few opportunities to break open a decent advantage, but I threw an interception once and had to punt several times, while also failing to convert on a 4th down when I could have kicked a 53 yard field goal. I had made one from that distance earlier in the game.

Jahvid Best was great on the ground and in the passing game for Detroit, while the Lions had 200 kick return yards, including a 99 yard TD return. Aaron Rodgers threw for 378 yards, 3 touchdowns, and the one pick. Charles Woodson had 2 interceptions, while Morgan Burnett had 1, and the Packers forced a turnover on a fumble. I continued to be my own worst enemy, making mistakes due to overconfidence and then, when we got down to the end of the game, doubt. I need to stick to my gameplan, and things will work out better for me.

Great game!

Green Bay Packers 30, Detroit Lions 24

Whats up guys..

I played as the Jags in season one before half way through my live got shut down on campus..

I wanna join back up if any teams are available I will take them

Looking forward to getting back in here

The Jags D made a major statement against the Chicago Bears.
After being gashed for 49 points against the Packers, the Jags forced 5 turnovers while committing none to seal the game 34-20. Despite the 400+ yards gained by the Bears, the Jags made countless key plays to put the ball in the hands of their offense.
Maurice Jones Drew was the indisputable star of the game, constantly gashing the Bears D to the tune of 250 yards on 14 carries, while rookie QB Tyler Dougherty managed the game, throwing 8/12 with a TD and no INTs.

Injuries:
JAX: Mercedes Lewis out 4 weeks
CHI: Devin Hester out 3 weeks

Jaguars 34, Bears 20

Texan 35 Titans 13

Rookie RB Parker Boates ran for 115 yards and 3 TD's (hopefully offensive rookie of the week numbers) and through two games Matt Schaub has thrown two incompletions.

Interestingly enough, the Jags may open up for you once Azu goes back to (I think) school. Right now though we are full, but I'll PM you once a team opens.

I'm hoping he gets injured before I face him! :D

At least you don't have to face him twice a season. IMO MA with Beason is really the only person who makes such a impact defensively with a specific player they control. I still curse sprice for trading Berry every time I play cru. :bomb:

Lions have a bye so those numbers might make it, hah.

Vikings 33 - Colts 23

Adrian Peterson...

I want one. Not even an incredibly dominant game by him (19 carries, 106 yards, 1 TD) but he just runs so hard and so pretty. Maybe as long as I've got the Vikings I'll just smuggle him over to the Chargers quietly in the night.. :D

3 games left... move it slackers! :D

I'd like to advance us in the afternoon Saturday since I assume most people will have work off/be doing nothing. So we can get some games in that day/night.

Falcons/Bucs, Ravens/Browns, Seahawks/Rams left.

Give me those updates!

Pat white is ready to take the field again....but hes going to find his the runaway beer truck this next game, who do i play next

I'm working on bringing my 360 along with me, so it may turn out to only be a week or 2 where I'm not playing.

Good!

I'm sure something will open up for neworlbush.

Lol thanks, you sure know how to make a big boy blush  I think you are my only fan out there...

And I was under the impression that Berry was traded before sprice took over the Chiefs, but maybe I'm wrong....Cru definitely made off pretty darn good with that deal. Berry's stats are ridiculous...a 99 zone coverage combined with a 85 catch rating definitely explains all those picks.

Faclons/Bucs tried to play tonight but lag was awful. We are trying sometime tomorrow.

Me and my underachieving self.

Yea Masterawesome, that 85 catch is better than some recievers ..... I don't really see the 99 zone coverage in action much since I'm usually controlling Berry the whole game , So far all Berry's ints are user picks , I'm looking to force some fumbles ssome time soon.

Rams just got their asses kicked 42-6.

I hate this fucking game.

Apparently I CAN NOT figure out how to defend the run, and my interception problem is getting worse, not better.

2 games left. I'd push for advancing tonight but no real reason to with NYE. Like I said before though, I want this done by a reasonable time tomorrow aka before 3-4pm est if possible.
Hey Deuce guess what's coming up?
i circled the date on my calendar :)

UBE... i've been in momentary contact with the Browns and the last thing he told me was he'd be in the house til 12 today... i got off work right at 12 so naturally, he wasnt online when i got home at 12:30. I havent heard from him since then and over the past few days, he's responded to my messages about playing when I wasnt in the house or available to play. I'll be around for most of the night and pretty much all day tomorrow so sooner or later, I should catch him but I've been trying to schedule this game since before we advanced.

No worries, Deuce. I know you're good. Hopefully we can get these wrapped up tomorrow afternoon, just in time for me to shake off my hangover and beat up on my next opponent! :D
Apparently the falcons forgot how to tackle. Gg redygo.
Gg gbpackers. Man when roddy white made that insane cath and td to tie the game up I was thinking Deja vu. Lost last week in the last minute and didn't want to see thus game to over time.
