Click on the words "CHEAP ASS GAMER" in the logo up at the top of the page. A menu will drop down, and "Mail" will be one of those links. Alternatively, you can go to that person's profile or click on their name beside one of their posts, and that will give you the option to send a private message. If you're using a mobile browser, I can't guarantee all that will work.

so all the games look to be scheduled for today besides...

Cowboys/Browns (any luck with A hard? Doom or Cobra?)
Redskins/Steelers (is BigAT subbing here? I thought that's what kay told me. Get someone to)
Seahawks/Bills (Lexxon, did you find a sub?)
 
Well the Browns are winless or have only 1 win (right?), so Cobra feel free to play the CPU. No one seems to be jumping at sub opportunities anymore. We still need someone to sub for the Seahawks. Sprice, you're welcome to, I believe you both have similar records. Though, red is right, it's a very different team from your Seahawks.
 
Depending on when the game needs played, I can sub for the Seahawks. I only have to work 3 hours tonight, so if it's not played by 8pm Central tonight I'd be willing to hop on and play. Just shoot me a PM if you want me to sub, it will go to my email and I'll respond as soon as I see it.
 
Haha, wow... the Madden curse has struck me again. Please don't take this as negative/bitching (I know I have a track record) because I don't let myself get so worked up about this game like I did before. I just have to mention it due to the terrible luck I had in seasons 1 and 2 with massive amounts of injuries. It's funny in a way that, after I waited to get back online, my first game out had all this wackiness. The game itself was crazy yet very fun, and I'm glad I actually got to play a game with Pacer after the craziness I perpetuated in the thread. You know what I mean.

It was a pretty even game offensively for the most part. I was in control for most of the first half, while he controlled most of the second half. We had similar totals in passing yards, overall yardage, and we each scored 2 offensive touchdowns. He went 1 for 2 on field goals, I believe. However, I had 4 turnovers, while he had none. That's not including the Jordy Nelson fumble on the opening kickoff which I barely recovered.

I threw a terrible pass with Rodgers under pressure which Philly scooped up, but that drive ended in a missed FG attempt. My second turnover was a sack-fumble which led to touchdown making it 7-0 Eagles. A play or two before that, I had a wide open man in the flats for what looked like a sure TD, but Rodgers wouldn't release the ball and got sacked. After keeping my team injury free this season, Josh Sitton broke his collarbone early on. Not long after, the worst possible thing that could have happened to my team did: Aaron Rodgers broke his forearm. He's out for the next 5 weeks. Matt Flynn came in, overthrew Jermichael Finley, and then completed a 55 yard touchdown bomb on his second passing attempt... and got injured in the process. Thankfully, he was able to come back in, because I didn't have any other QBs.

After going up 14-10 at halftime, it was pretty much all Pacer from there. He was able to score on 2 nice TD drives, while I struggled in the passing game with Flynn, completing a few decent passes, but ultimately going 5/15 while overthrowing wide open receivers and throwing 2 interceptions. Matt Flynn's deep throw accuracy is seriously 44 or 45 in this game. On top of that, I had a Ryan Grant touchdown run called back due to holding (100% correct call; it was a blatant hold by Finley) and a Woodson fumble recovery overturned on a challenge. The old me would have been livid at the game, but today I just shook my head, smiled, and kept trying to find some way to fight back, but it was all for naught.

Philadelphia Eagles 24, Green Bay Packers 14

I think I've met my paragraph quota now, LOL. So ubernes is aware, I signed QB Keith Null (68 OVR) from the FA pool. I didn't drop anyone since I have several open roster spots from cutting players prior to the draft, and then cutting my 5th-7th round picks from this year. With Rodgers out for 5 games, I needed a second QB, and this guy actually possesses better accuracy than JaMarcus Russell, unlike the in-game version of Matt Flynn. I hope it is okay that I signed him.
 
I'll be home in 10-15 minutes, Sprice, if you want to sub for the Hawks then. I'm around all night, so it doesn't have to be right then. I haven't checked the status of the other league's sub yet.
 
Great game, Bills over Seahawks 37-31 in OT. Game started pretty defensively but ended up being a barn burner. The second to last play of regulation was me getting stopped on the ONE YARD LINE with two seconds left, called the timeout, decided to settle for the FG to tie rather than try for the endzone. Won the coin toss and got a lucky play out of Antoine Bell, a 62 yd TD to end it.

GG Sprice. I imagine Hasselbeck is better than the QB you had today--he threw some pretty awful balls at times.

I thought that might be the case, but I wasn't sure. Uber probably didn't even see my mention of that in my novella of a post. I have no problem dropping someone if necessary, but I did not pick up a free agent during that signing period, so maybe this could count for that. Otherwise, say the word and I will drop one player tonight.

Yea it was a real good game. I was pretty frustrated not only by bad balls thrown but by the drops.. the corners were terrible and couldn't play man well. That drop in the end zone towards the second half that I went back to and u picked it off hurt. Cj spiller ran over every player on my defense. I couldn't gain a yard rushing how he went 6 and 2 with this god awefull team who knows. I've been practicing with them in ranked matches and hasselback is terrible to. So I wanted to test the rookie and he wasn't much better. Gg u seem to of built a nice team with the bills I wish jamal charles would break tackles like spiller was.

I don't really mind. I think that's only been a rule in the 2nd league. As long as you're not over the max amount (and the game prevents that anyways) then I don't see a problem. Especially since some teams are probably operating with less players than others due to retirements and such.

Well I waited for about an hour and a half. Really have to go right now. Will be back in a few hours if you haven't advanced yet, but I'd rather not hold up the league.
 
Man in one season I went from being dead last in "Strength of Schedule" to having the strongest schedule in the league. That's what the Division of Doom does to you!!!
 
As far as my game with Minnesota, I'm guessing I should wait on Venom, eh? He said in the thread that he'd have his Xbox back by Sunday, and I would figure Sunday night would be a likely advancement date. I'm probably going to have people over most of the day Sunday, which is the only reason I am slightly concerned. But "by Sunday" means it could arrive before that date, I reckon.

Well, it'll have to be before Sunday anyways since I doubt any mail is being delivered that day. With no football on Sunday, we'll definitely aim for advancing that evening.

We'll give the Vikings and Steelers until Saturday evening to check in here before we look for a sub for them on Sunday. A Hard you have an invite back to the league, your Browns play the Dolphins this week.

Well, I haven't heard from him but I assume he's making some sort of effort to get back online and back with the league. I don't think it hurts to give him an extra day. If Appleinthetree is busy on Sunday and would prefer to play vs a sub on Saturday then we can make arrangements for that of course.
 
doom.... i'd like to play tonight against your friend A Hard(the Browns)..... i'm available for a game between 7pm-8pm....and sometime around 10:30pm-1 or 2am in the morning. All EST. is this ok with him? if not....sometime tomorrow's ok.
