Wow... Now I know Madden hates me. In my game vs. the CPU, I restarted once after Ryan Grant was knocked out for the season, and then again after losing Clay Matthews. Since I was running short on time after that, I decided to supersim and interject myself when necessary. I probably wouldn't have thought of that had Doom not mentioned it yesterday. But I lost anywhere from 1-5 starters for significant periods of time in every attempt after that. If I recall correctly, it took about 487 tries before I was able to get by without any serious injuries to key players. In one, I lost Matthews, Woodson, Williams, Barnett, and James Starks.
 
all we're waiting on is Lions-Colts. I'm hoping to play Pacer in the other league soon so if we get that going I'll wait until the end of that game. either way, 8pm EST we should be in Week 13 so feel free to plan for those games.

Depending on the situation I'm in, I plan on resting my starters during the last few weeks. Just as long as I get a playoff spot, I'm fine.

My schedule also gets pretty brutal over the next few weeks. I know I play MasterAwesome and Mr Grand Cru for sure. That was another reason I couldn't withstand any more injuries... Rodgers is still out 3 more games. 8-8 might be good enough to win the NFC North, but it's going to be tough fight.

The Jets are your new #1. Hooray me. Texans fell two spots down, so the Niners moved up as well and took the #2 spot. Raiders sit tight at #4. The Panthers move into #5. Welcome to the Top 10 Dallas Cowboys. They sit at #10 right now. The Eagles and Pats both have big +5 gains, while some CPU controlled teams start to fall (Jags -4, Seahawks -5).

The Ravens look to overtake the abandon Steelers in the North. Baltimore is only a game back as of now. The Chiefs are also only a game back from the Raiders for the West. The Dolphins are very quietly making a move for one of those wild card spots, they are right in the mix only out due to a tiebreaker right now. The Broncos are still on the bubble, but last year Super Bowl champs sit 3 games out of the West and 1 out of the Wild Card. They will need get some big Ws down the stretch.

On the NFC side of things, the Cowboys are poised to overtake the now coachless Seahawks. Dallas is on the outside looking in now, but it should be only a matter of time. The rest of the bubble teams have some ground to make up, but there's still plenty of games. Saints, Bucs and especially the Bears (only a game back out of the North) can all make a move in the final weeks.

Sorry Zurezo, I tried. 31-26 Jets. Crazy Pass Interference call led to a TD instead of a Field Goal. Crazy Kick return by Pitt on the very next possession. And then a crazy 2nd down bomb by the Jets to put the game away.

All I can say is, I wish I had Mike Wallace. Dude just skates by every defender. Not even Fitz does that for me.

GG, you definitely made me earn the W. The pass interference potentially saved the game for me. Not sure what I was doing on that kick return, I took the guy that's supposed to have the edge there and took him inside, which is why you had all that daylight. Oh well, I'm lucky that didn't burn me too bad in the end.

Levy was probably today's savior. Steelers were looking to go up 14-3 and Levy was able to intercept the ball and take it back 90+ yards. So potentially, 14-3 or at least 10-3 went to 7-10. Big swing early in the game.

edit: and that insane pass to Eldridge was another WTF moment late in the game for me. that's definitely a pass that gets picked 80% of the time, at least, and I never should've let it go. Eldridge isn't even a good pass catcher, I'm surprised most it got to him but also that he even caught it when it did haha.

Yeah I was testing Big Ben's accuracy early. Definitely better than Campbell, but he's no Manning lol. I don't know what I was doing on that Eldrige pass, I trusted the CPU and of course he didn't even try for it! Oh well. Hopefully see you in the playoffs.

Haha, I'm hoping this hits 700 as well. I played an unhealthy amount of the original NBA JAM on the SNES, as well as TE. I'm looking forward to checking this out for a cheap price.
 
it's not bad. I have it. The single player is a huge, annoying grind but the multi-player is fun. pretty much like the original I suppose.
