key play seemed to be when the Pats punted and angled it out of bounds on the 1 yard line, the next play was a pick 6 to secure the lead

got one forced fumble on a sniffed out screen play when Mario Moss leveled CJ Spiller (Super Mario is getting decent at sniffing out those screens)

He saved my team in a close one over the Titans. 20-17 Jets. With time winding down and the Titans in FG only down by 3, Tennessee hurried to the line for one last shot at the endzone. Earlzo had other plans though! As he sacked Young as he tried to roll out of the pocket. Game over. A little too close for comfort for my Jets.

Honestly, I would, but I'll be watching other stuff. The reason I'll have people over and be busy most of Sunday is because Celtics/Lakers, the NHL All-Star Game, and the Royal Rumble all take place on that day.

Holy shit is all i can say. I'd rather let Sprice recap but the Ravens had a huge rabbit's foot up someone's ass on the field...

2-1 against the AFC West(i refuse to refer to it as the division of doom). The one loss came against the Broncos... and i usually lose the first time i play someone cuz i spend the whole game figuring out their offense while taking too many chances when i'm on offense so that was kinda expected... DOOM, look out :D

Anyone around who can sub for the Jags? This is a pretty meaningless game, but I'd like to get it out of the way tonight if possible since I have a pretty full weekend and 2 other games to get in as well.
 
Another great showing by Oakland in Tampa Bay. Raiders win 45-21.

Hoping Redygo disconnected at the end there. The game dropped with 17 seconds while I was kneeing the ball. Thankfully I was able to quit and count game.
 
Venom said he'll have his Xbox back tomorrow. He asked when the deadline was; I said Sunday, but that I wasn't sure what time. I'm going upstairs to bed, but I suggested that he and I play tomorrow in the later afternoon/early evening Eastern time.

EDIT: Okay, he actually isn't receiving it till Sunday. I'm going to call him tomorrow and we're going to work something out.

Yes, I accidentally turned off my xbox. Mostly out of frustration. It could have been a better game if I didn't get into 2nd and 20 in the 2nd quarter because of two back to back "delay of game penalties." Mostly because I couldn't find a replacement battery and I couldn't find my usb cord to the xbox.

But it didn't matter because I couldn't stop anything that the Raiders were doing. My front seven got totally owned in that game. All running plays would work and I couldn't make the plays when I had the opportunity to make a stop on 3rd downs.

yeah, I saw that and wasn't too thrilled. I didn't mention anything to him when I told him to play the CPU, which is something I usually always mention. there's no real written rules on that so I can't blame him really for it, but yeah, in future reference no one run up the score, even on the CPU.

Damnit sorry for accepting those delay of games then. I actually had the same thing happen to me in the 3rd quarter and was frantically searching for batteries. Lol not my best of moments. It was a good game though. I'll admit I had quite a few lucky catches with Fitz and Murphy. I don't know how I came down with that bomb on the right side. Just goes to show you how much more effective user catching is, although 90% of the time, I usually whiff.
 
I told Matt today over Facebook that we aren't going to be able to get the game in with the Lakers/Celtics Game, Royal Rumble and all that stuff going on it's going to be tough to match up schedules. We would've done it today like he said last night but I had forgot that my copy of Madden also was in said Xbox that is being shipped. So I can't even use my dad's Xbox to play the game. So I'd say if someone just wants to sub for me and this will be the last and final time. My Xbox is due here tomorrow so after that there won't be any problem.
 
Broncos thrash Texans 48 to 17. Largely due to a turnover ridden third quarter. A couple of tough breaks on fumbles put us down 21 and that was pretty much all she wrote.

An update on my situation: I thought our flooding issues were over, but they aren't. It's started again and now it's worse than ever. Half the floorboards in our place already rotted and had to be torn up, and now there is also water under the floors of my office (where my xbox is) which will need to be torn up. Long story short, we're probably going to need to break our lease and move, which could definitely affect my Madden availability for a while. I'll keep everyone posted.
 
So should I play the CPU, or will somebody be subbing for the Vikings? A friend of mine just got stationed back here (Marine Corps) and I'm seeing him tonight for the first time in 2 years. I could be leaving at any time now. The sooner I know what's going on, the better. I know it hasn't been long since Venom posted, but uber, please let me know what you have in mind when you get a chance.
 
All right. Thanks for the quick response. I was going to see if bv was subbing again like earlier this season, but obviously he cannot. BV, I hope your very unpleasant situation gets resolved in the most satisfactory way possible and you're able to get things back to normal soon.

Thanks. and no I can't sub obviously lol. I was supposed to sub as the cards againsr gbpackers but if someone else can step in I'd appreciate it. as for my ga me I might play the CPU if I can find time to get on otherwise it could be simmed.

Giants vs Redskins (has anyone seen kay lately?)
Cowboys vs sub/CPU Steelers
Niners vs sub/CPU Seahawks
Eagles vs Bengals (what's the deal?)

A good chunk of games for only one day left, but a lot of this is vs CPU games. Let's get this done. I'd like to hear on the 3 h2h games asap so I know where they are at.
 
Sorry about running up the score, won't happen again. I'm cleaning snow off 4 roofs today. I can either take a sim as punishment for my previous game or play a tight game against the c p u. I don't know what my availability will be against a human Sub
