Why is it ok for certain people to do certain things because it "fits their players", but if somebody needs extra time calling plays or likes to grind the ball and eat up clock, it's so frowned upon? I've got a shitty offensive line and piss poor receivers who drop balls all game. I have to pound the ball and pick up minimal yards to get ANY kind of passing game going. You can't just cherry pick what behaviors are "acceptable" and what aren't.
I just lost a game to Tanabeo in which I came back from a 28-3 defecit to pull within 28-25 with 3:00 left, had him at a 3rd and 12, and lost because he went 5 wide (which appeared to be a hail mary play) and then ran it with his absurdly fast QB that my AI players don't react to at all. If I don't catch him with my user player, it's an easy first down. The way the AI handles it, it's a horseshit play (similar to rolling out all the time), but it "fits the players", so it's fine.
I don't think I can play in this league anymore. I wanted to finish the season, but when you run into players who don't even have the balls to run real plays, there's just no point. Why take the time to outlaw QB sneaks, line shifting, going for it on 4th down, etc. if people can abuse the horrible defensive AI and "running to the outside" that results in players that are just faster than everybody else, regardless of what angle you take?
