i guess know wants to see u win and no one is worried about me lol
I've always figured it's that I'm the "bad cop" between uber and I (by design), and this is the one area where people can give it back to me. I don't have any problem with that.

When future generations examine this gigantic thread, they'll be shocked by the sheer number of words dedicated to my trades - I'm sure it could fill a modest doctoral thesis by now. :D

I'm working on some deals, but think I may close up business (aka go to bed) before any of them get finalized. Might see some new weapons on the offense this year as we try to put some more points up on the board.

Congrats to all nominees and winners!!!!!

Winner:
Matt Forte...Not really a surprise. Though Stafford put up ridiculous numbers, Forte led his team to a 14-2 record with over 2100 yds rushing and over 1000 yds receiving. Ridiculous.

He's got a stranglehold on it.

I agree with all the awards btw - well done.

Well 2 more nominations for the Jets than last year! Too bad they couldn't hold on and win defense of the year.

Also, hooray AFC East. We looked bad last year. Not that we look great just above .500 but I think we are in better shape than a season ago.

Antavio Bolton, Randy Starks, & Peter Newcomer thank you very much for the awards given to them! (OROY, DPOY, Sacks Leader, Fumbilitis)

Final vote results for the night. It's only Monday so I'll wait til tomorrow evening to officially announce, but I would plan for a 9pm draft.

7pm - 2.5*
9pm -5
Either - 13

well guyes good night hoping to land one more deal before the draft.

I'm looking to move way up in the draft. I'm willing to put up a Julio Jonesian type package to do it - let me know if you're in the top 10 and are interested.

Trade up for Review:

New England sends:
WR Wes Welker (90 OVR, 33, A Pot)
2nd round pick

St. Louis sends:
RG Shane Rogers (93 OVR, 24, A Pot)
DT Justin Bannan (72 OVR, 35, ? Pot - pretty irrelevant to a 35 year old, lol)

Finally looked at the draft class. I may be throwing my hat into the ring as well for a top 10er. Might just have to add Cromartie to my trade block along with the others.

Guess I'll join in on this fun. Tamba Hali on the block for those in the top 10 of the draft.

Totally forgot Mass Effect 3 is tomorrow. Tomorrow owns.

Trade for Review

Seahawks send:
Ray Rice - HB, 29, 94 OVR, A POT

Jags send:
Taylor Terry - MLB, 24, 88 OVR, A POT
Jordan Todman - HB, 26, 80 OVR, B POT

EDIT: I'm looking to move out of the top 10, if someone wants to make a big move. Would have to have a 1st rounder back, plus a pretty big name coming with.

Based on DVO's math Todman will be a 76 on the Depth Chart, Terry will be an 89.
I believe we discussed this a while back and my preference is that we go by the Player Management numbers for the purposes of the trade cap. Especially since we can't access the depth chart in the offseason, that's really the only one for us to remain consistent.

Pulled that out. I think that puts DVO right at the cap though, so we may have to see what he thinks about it.

Initial thoughts?
JETS TRADE BLOCK

Available:
Shonn Greene, HB, A pot (86 OVR, 87 speed, 99 truck, 94 stiff arm, 95 acceleration)
OR
Bilal Powell, HB, B pot (83 OVR, 86 speed, 97 truck, 94 acceleration, 73 catching)

Kalen Federick, RT, B pot (73 OVR, 98 rblock strength, 79 rblock footwork, 82 pblock strength, 82 pblock footwork)

Cameron Patterson, TE, A pot (74 OVR, 82 speed, 82 route running, 74 catch in traffic, 69 catch)

Looking For:
Safety (FS or SS, good zone, decent speed, hard hitter a plus)
Speed RB (92+ speed, high carry, catch + trucking/stiff arm a plus)
Top 10 draft pick
Possession WR (82+ speed, high catch, high catch in traffic)

Potentially on the block:
K.J. Wright (MLB, 72 OVR, B pot) or Colin McCarthy, MLB (78 OVR, A pot)
Antonio Cromartie (CB, 88 OVR)
20th pick in draft

I have a good amount of MLBs, so I would not be opposed to dealing one of them. I like McCarthy's speed, but Wright is a Bart Scott type and just ruins anyone who comes up the middle. I would need to get a pretty studly safety in return, but I would at least hear offers on these guys.
I'm reposting this since it's been updated. I won't be able to respond to offers until about 1pm est but send em over.

I don't think Murda has posted it yet, but the blockbuster of CAG history is up for review:

Eagles receive Drew Brees, QB, A pot (96 OVR)

Cardinals receive Michael Vick, QB, A pot (94 OVR)

Shocked.jpg
why even add Bannan lol
Because I need some depth at DT, I went through the majority of last season with 2 on my roster.

I love this trade for both sides. LV finally gets his running QB and Pacer never really used Vick to run anyways - I think he'll do much better with a pure pocket passer.
I'm willing to deal picks for a QB and Hillis for defense.
I'm willing to move Brady though, shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I'm not really sure why the Jaguars would do this deal - they have several other talented backs on the roster and have the makings of a fine committee with Todman and Lashore. That's obviously exactly what Seattle is going to do with him, pairing him with Ridley.

I guess if they want a more feature back and not having to worry about swapping guys in and out, Rice fits that bill. Terry's a very nice young player though, I don't know if I'd give up on him so quickly, even with Posluszny on the roster.

All that said, if both sides are fine with it I think it's a pretty reasonable deal.

Viking's Trade Block (We're Dealing!)

QB, R. Kaiser, 92 OVR, A Pot, Age 24

Want:
A solid defensive play maker. I need linebackers and safeties!

Any further thoughts on these? Obviously the 1st has been discussed extensively and now modified, but we haven't heard much on the other ones yet.

Let me know if I missed any deals.

Wowsers DVO really wanted a sick wideout for those picks. Glad someone bit for him.

Everything else looks even enough for me, sad to see Welker join the NFC West but happy to see Rice go.

Congrats on winning the Super Bowl Sprice!

The welker trade....its better with the 2nd rounder in there, its fair now. I wouldn't do it if I were the rams just cuz I do feel you should be able to do better than wwelker for the 2nd best right guard in the game. But the trade is even so if both agree, green light.
Yea I'm with you bv on that ray rice trade, I don't see why the jags would want to part with terry but the trade is even so its up to the parties.
The marshall trade...its even, he is flithy I guess. Personally id rather have the picks but marshall is a beast. its hard to say someoen is worth the first pick overall but only dvo's opinion matters really.
As for brees and vicck....this trade should have happened long ago

I'm just glad Welker will be going somewhere he'll actually be used. He's pretty much become the forgotten man in my offense the last two seasons with Ross hogging all the touches and White/Gronk doing most of the passing game damage.

Demaryius Thomas will now start opposite White; with Edelman, Price, and 2nd year WR Nick Schexnayder in an open competition for the 3rd wideout spot. I'll probably be back in primarily a 2-WR, 2-TE set next season though.

Yea welker needs to be in that 3wr or 4wr set. Although he is a good blocker, and he is underrated as far as just getting open deep.

Cardinals Updated Trade Block

1st round pick (19)

HB Adrian Peterson

HB Ryan Williams (an 89 now! ----87 SPD, 99 AGI, 99 ACC, 98 TRK)

TE Todd Heap

-------

In other news, according to the Madden website, my first round draft pick last year jumped from an 84 to a 93 DT (highest defensive player on my team). But both Darnell Dockett and Chris Harris both dropped drastically though.....

I love how finnegan has gone from an 89, to an 86, to an 84, now back to an 89. I was ready to trade him last year too

Vick is going to run for 1500 yards next year, isn't he? ;)

Keep in mind that if you trade Peterson on top of Brees, you're at the core cap already.

More like an even 1000

But I have two great starting backs, and Sproles as a back up. Figured I would throw them out there, I'm sure AP will get some interest.

The Broncos are in the market for an accurate passer. Nothing is off the table (especially Tebow). Hit me up if you want to make an offer.

im lookin for a linebacker, either a MLB or a ROLB. thinkin of moving ikeem to OLB. i have a dece RT thats young n not bad if ne1 needs one. im not looking for a blockbuster here, just a good lb somewhere between 75-85. my 19th pick in the second round is available.

Bitter AFC rivals strike a deal to move around some O-Line depth:

Trade for Review:

Patriots send:
RG Kyle DeVan (79 OVR, 30, B Pot)

Chiefs send:
RT Barry Richardson (81 OVR, 28, B Pot)

Chiefs have 4 RT, and with the arrival of Rogers the Patriots have 4 RG. I have a hard time believing anybody will object to this one, though I've been wrong before. :D

i think the jags may be done making trades

unless someone becomes interested in the titians pick for a left side o-lineman
