Ok this is getting stupid. First game I'm up 21-0 in the 2nd. Second game I'm up 24-0in the 2nd. Both games said your opponent has been kicked for excessive grieving. What the hell?

Sounds like you were outscored 45-0 in what basically amounted to a full game worth of play. It's really not unreasonable at all to conclude that Doom won the matchup.

If he wants to play you again (and knowing Doom, I wouldn't be surprised if he did) then that's fine, but I'm giving him the option since he seemed put off by it and was also well on his way to winning both times you started.
 
thats crazy both games we got dropped and the first game i was driving i hurry and the game dropped me. the second game he was winning handly no doubt. but the games stopped at no ones fault. plus we didn't even get two halftime so how is that a full game. and if i dont recall you were up on me by 28 in one game and i almost came back to beat you
 
21-0 near halftime + 24-0 near halftime = almost a full game worth of play in which he scored 45 points and you scored 0. I can only go by the scores of the games which he quoted of course, unless you're saying that wasn't the score/game situation.

Like I said, it's up to Doom. He may well have no issue with playing it a third time, and if that's the case I'm fine with it. If he hadn't voiced any objection to what was going on I wouldn't have said anything, but it seemed pretty clear to me from his post that he was frustrated by it.

the point is i dont care if im winning or losing i enjoy playing with my team. thats the point so for you to say that i cant play with my team because i was losing to bad or whatever is crazy. no matter how much i win by or lose by i finish my game because i enjoy playing with my team and i like getting the work in.

It's not remotely crazy. How many cracks do you want at it? Let's say you disconnect a few more times, losing each time, should you basically get unlimited restarts until the game is completed? You played two halves of football (roughly a full game worth of play, in other words) and were down 3+ scores in each one. I don't think the conclusion which I reached was at all unreasonable or crazy.

Doom made a post in the thread which certainly looked like a complaint, or at the very least a request for clarification. If he didn't have an issue with it, I'm sure he would have just played you a third time without comment. If he wants to play you again (and my guess is he will), I have no issue with that. But he asked for clarification and I gave it to him, that's how it works.

i kinda understand where hes comin from even tho i feel i for wanting to play
....win or losr i also wanna control my fate..... but if ur gettin blown out twice and u keep getting kicked for excessive grieving either its connection issues or ur doin dumshit with junpin offsides taking to long to call plays stuff like that.... i think doom will play u again but if it continues to happen i could see y he can play the cpu..... now if the game was closer def not but 2 blowouts makes sense
 
This was a much bigger issue in Madden 11 when disconnects were much more prevalent. Thankfully it hasn't been nearly the issue this year so we haven't really needed to get into it much. I do still have the disconnect policy I wrote last year if people feel we need clarification on it, the only reason I haven't re-posted it is that it hasn't been necessary.

For the record, I actually had a similar situation arise in a playoff game with Doom last year. A couple of disconnects, with him holding good sized leads both times, and I let him play the CPU. Just so we're clear that I'm not suggesting a course of action that I wouldn't take myself in the same situation.
 
Yeah we're playing again at 2 PM EST. Nobody is really at fault for the disconnects. It would just lock up in the 2nd and that message would pop up.

i didnt really look at this game stats but i know in our game running the ball is ur strength.. alot of people change there gameplan when there down by a lil bit and it can really change the game... play to ur strengths thats ur best bet... the browns yest lost by alot but if he would have ran the ball more he would have done alot better... i started getting up on him and turnovers cost him big time...
 
Or if you're sprice, you can put up bananas numbers with Stafford and then once he gets hurt flip right over to putting up 300 yards a game with MJD. ;)

Yea, Ramesu was stacking up against the run every play so i kind of gave up on it. Then he started making these amazing user picks, and Vick started fumbling, as usual after my 1st turnover it turns into a downward spiral. Must've turned it over like 8 times in that game, including going for it on 4th and 2 on my 30 down 31-7 late in the 3rd.........

That game made me want to puke, Bseti and Widow were in my Party and I was fucking screamin nonstop lol.

It was a gg man...the turnovers really did cost you.
I don't know y but my defense has become a turnover creating machine all the sudden...picks that my players usually drop are now going my way and we're creating a lot of fumbles too.... it also helps that I'm throwing the ball efficiently and forcing guys to score to keep up. I expected that my 30 attempts per game would lead to a lot of hell but, my guy has a 100+ QB rating....

its funny cause i still feel if i didnt learn to run tge ball with being able to pass i would of never made it to the superbowl or won it... but i do feel now that ive been running it more my passing games gone down hill... hopefully with stafford back i can get my wr core some recieving yrds

Yeah, I don't think we've ever had a Super Bowl winner who wasn't able to do both well. Too many of the good defensive players in this league can completely take away one phase of the game that if you can't adjust you can't win.

Yea dude a couple of those user picks I'd never even seen before, like the way your players were positioned, I wouldn't think they could catch the ball.

And who forces 4 fumbles in one game? Can't remember the last time that happened to me.
 
We've had a string of very good games on D since I switched playbooks too, specifically in creating turnovers...got out of the 3-4. It wasn't flexible enough for me to be as multiple on defense as I like to be. Now, Im hoping to see if I can stop some of the elite rushing attacks and continue to create turnovers.
