Downloading it tonight. I've had it 3 seasons in a row now, and I love it. Only way I can watch the Red Sox down here except when they're on national TV or play the Orioles. It's definitely worth the money if you watch every game (which I tend to), and I'd definitely recommend springing for the premium if people do get it - just getting to always watch home broadcasts alone is worth the extra price before you even factor in the other features.

I already have the app on PS3, but it's nice to have more options.

I didn't realize they archived games from last season. That's pretty cool.

I wonder if there's a difference between the two, considering people can't use these apps unless they have a gold account.
 
I'm very concerned about the Phillies this year. I think they'll win the division, but Miami and Washington and Atlanta to a lesser extent are all trending upwards, while Philly is full of gimpy old guys and Hunter Pence. I think the pitching will carry them, but the lineup is way down this year. I think they missed their window by losing to St. Louis last year.
 
I don't know about the Marlins. Reyes, Ramirez, Johnson, Stanton, Josh Johnson and a bunch of no names. It'll probably be a Braves & Phillies race again, with the Nats continuing to improve and the Mets being cellar dwellers.
 
People around here who aren't Orioles fans or transplants (so like 2 or 3 people) seem very excited about the Nationals this year. If I know anything about DC sports from living here for 9 years, excitement for them can only lead to crushing disappointment.
 
Perhaps another Strausberg injury? I need to get back into baseball, been about four years since I've really cared. Partly because of my rekindled fascination with the NBA, which only leaves about two months of summer to be full devoted to baseball.

That and the fact I just don't find it all that entertaining.

Gotta say I was told to follow rules when I joined. I did my due diligence and followed them to a tee. I'm fairly pissed (maybe because I just lost with 4 seconds to go) because I thought that on a 4th and 5+ situation right at midfield or just beyond on his side you, not to mention being in the middle of the of the 3rd quarter of a 13-7 game you PUNT the ball. I was taken a little off guard when the raiders owner did this. Am I in the wrong in saying that is something this league frowns upon? He then proceeded to burn the entire 3rd quarter and part of the 4th as a result. I'm calling BS on this one. Did I read the rules backwards?

Yea that sounds like a PUNT situation. But close to a borderline one (not really, since it was the 3rd quarter, imo).

Widow said Damailman went for it on 4th and 7ish on his own 35 in the FIRST HALF last game, which is absolutely not borderline.

Get a grip people.

Whoa whoa whoa, is that true? Widow should explain that one then. Only time you should be going for it there is if you're chucking up a prayer to end the half.

In Doc's situation, it sounds like a punt. BV and Fero will need to weigh in.
 
the way he describes it is diff tho the raiders at midfield shoukd have punted ... if im getting beat by 14 or more i will take risk and no huddle constantly... not to cheat but to keep.me in the game. some people run the clock way to early... but im also a guy that goes for the 2 pt conv for the win usually instead of the tie and overtime.... if the raiders felt they had momentum late in a close game i can see why hed take the risk... all or nothing

Widow told me this yesterday and was very adamant that is what happened. (even telling me he had a witness there, a person I know).

I thought it was completely wrong and f*cked up.

I'll tell Widow to post, I didn't mean to call out Damailman, but since Blade brought this up, and how bad what damailman did sounded, i needed to.

yea thats plenty of time...but then again if ur playin a cheeser who milks the clock its only 8 minutes. hate ppl who do that...i get running some clock, but milkin it all the way down in the third quarter is for the birds...if i have a lead in the 3rd and i wanna run clock, youll know it, but id never run it under 5 second and thats even way too much for me...ill pick my play normally and just run like 10 seconds or so, pretty lame to sit there for 30 seconds in the 3rd quarter deliberatly. bush league IMO, but thats jus me

I'm thinking about it since WGN doesn't show enough White Sox games, but we get all the Dodgers and Angels games here. Didn't know you were a fan; I just recently gave away a sweet 5 foot long Angels 50th anniversary banner that I got at a game over the summer.

Yeah all I see on WGN is the lousy Cubs. :lol: Big Angels fan, I just haven't had much to celebrate lately because they've been making bad trades (Vernon Wells) and haven't improved their offense at all.

That finally changed with the Pujols signing. Not happy about the length and dollar amount, but if it brings in at least one title, it's worth it.

The length is the big problem since he'll be in his early forties in the last couple years, I think. On a side note, Angel Stadium is really nice and I love going there, especially for night games.

Yeah true, but I think the team we have now can finally reclaim the AL West and make a push for the title. We have a lot of depth now that Kendry is back and our rotation is one of the deepest in the league.

And yeah I love that stadium. I go to a few games every summer. Now Dodger Stadium... that place is a dump.

I'm on a mission to go to AT&T Park this season. Might as well since I'm in the area.

Yea, dmailman you played like an absolute bitch yesterday....contemplated quitting in the first half because he went for it 4th and 8 on my 35. Really laughed at the hole situation...a mutual friend of both Bseti and i was at my house at the time....even he asked if he was allowed to go for it in that situation...in which i laughed and said absolutely not....

i dont think its that neccesary to call anyone out like this... shit happens its a stupid mistake ill contact mog and tell mailman and ballsohard to think over there play calling.. all callin someone names on the cpu is gonna do is have a 5 page meaningless argument that could have someone kicked out then others will leave fuck that... theres 31 of us still only 5 monthes till 13 comes out nd like to go till then if possible...

I needa learn how ya'll user pick and catch it's crazy how you can make plays outa double coverage or something. I also find it funny that my rookie ovr 60 lolb can tackle gore in the backfield for a loss lol.
 
I tend to agree with Sprice fellas. A lot of this could be handled via PMs, including bringing it to the attention of our commissioners.
