Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
I'm stuck at work and have a viewing from 7 to 9 he said he can't play after 9
This is true , I have therapy from a recent accident and a meeting about a loan on a new vehicle tonight on the other side of town so I may be staying on that side of town all night tonight.

I had 3 pro bowlers. Christian Ponder, Devin Thompson and Sam Acho. Ponder and Thompson were expected, Acho....not so much. I'm glad he did well though, it made me feel better about my decision to let Darnell Dockett go in the offseason.

what stat won percy harvin the best wr in the afc, i dont get it but ill take it...bengals take home 2 other awards to go along with that, best DL in geno atkins, and best qb with dalton....8 pro bowlers....nice lil boost.

i like the xp shit but i do agree it shud be toned down and u shouldnt be able to change speed. im pretty sure u can set it to fast medium or slow and when u can progress players when setting up a franchise not sure tho
All the awards are listed via twitter. Is there some other way to view them?
go to history
im pretty sure u can set it to fast medium or slow
Nope, unless they've patched that in. You certainly couldn't when I set this one up though.

You can set it so that people can apply experience every week, every 4 weeks or only on the offseason. But even that doesn't seem to work.

Nope, that definitely doesn't work.

Denver Broncos 24 - Buffalo Bills 8

The Broncos went on the road to Buffalo to open the playoffs and got off to a hot start with the help of some good defense and a few big plays on offense. The Bills defense tightened up a lot in the 2nd half and they started to move the ball as well, but the Broncos had built up a big enough lead to hold on.

Osweiler didn't throw much, going 4 of 8 for 86 yards, 1 TD and 0 INTs.

Fitzpatrick was 12 of 27 for 160 yards, 0 TDs and 2 INTs. He did throw a 2-point conversion.

McFadden carried 13 times for 63 yards and 2 scores. McGahee added 13 carries for 29.

Spiller had 13 carries for 46 yards and the Bills' lone TD.

Demaryius Thomas did all the damage for the Broncos, catching 2 balls for 69 yards, most of them on a 52-yard bomb for a TD.

Spiller lead the Bills with 6 catches for 61 yards.

The Broncos got picks from Bailey and Haden and a sack from Dockett. Key play for the Broncos' special teams: I faced a 4th-and-3 from the Bills' 43 late, considered either kicking the 60-yard FG (but it was into the wind) or going for it, but ended up punting and pinned the ball at the 2. Huge.

The Bills got a sack from Mario Williams, but were unable to turn the cautious Broncos over, which turned out to be the difference.

gg Ramesu! You definitely had me a bit nervous in the 2nd half once my offense stalled a bit and you moved the ball, but thankfully my D held up for the most part.

Now the Broncos wait to learn their next opponent. A Ravens win and I'm headed to Cincinnati, a Chiefs win and it's on to Houston.
looks like a tough road either way bv but congrats on the win
No doubt, both guys are great, though I've beat them both before so I know I can do it. My recent games with Doom have been much closer than my last one against bseti, but I don't really have a strong preference on who I play. I have to assume I need to beat both to make the Super Bowl anyway.

Hopefully my D/ST plays as well next time. 17 of my points came off turnovers and a great punt return, all of which gave me the ball well within Bills' territory. Didn't do nearly as well when needing to drive the length of the field.

Well the Atlanta Falcons have agreed upon there first big deal for the offseason. and its an exciting one for them. now on to the next big deal

the falcons will also be changing there offensive playbooks so i guess ur could say the OC got fired and the new player will fit the playbook just right

Devon Brown head coach of the falcons has introduced Chalupa Batman as the falcons new OC

A spectator mode would be sweet, but probably lag the game.
A spectator mode would be sweet, but probably lag the game.
possible i guess it depends on the persons internet

it sucks having that many restarts in a playoff game specially because they were all close but the last one. sucks to go out that way.

I don't really have much to say. After 7 quarters of football we started the 3rd game. Needless to say I had exhausted my playbook (25th ranked offense, represent!) and Mog knew what was coming.

Hali gets knocked out on the first play and the Ravens jump out to a 21 point lead because I couldn't stop Rice with my backup LB.

Ravens were up 38-0 at half and passed the ball all throughout the second half, mostly play action passes since he knew I was looking for the run. Up by 45 or something with less than 3 minutes in the 4Q he is still passing while in the red zone. Quite frankly I found it to be absolutely absurd and one of the worst games I've ever participated in.

To say that the Ravens are the defending Super Bowl champions of a league that I put a ton of time into (trade commitee) makes me sick. Show some class

That's unfortunate, I really hate that crap like that is still going on in this league.

Staticz I really wasnt trying to run the score up. Alot of my passes were 3-5 years passes. I have lost 2 games recently when trying to play conservative towards the end one against 1)doomtime and Chetty so I was trying to spread to different areas of the field.
Cru/Sprice - Let us know once you get your game scheduled.
As of right now hopefully at 6 when he gets off

That definitely killed me. The few early drops that got me behind the sticks and your run defense early were the keys. Playing from 17 down that early is tough but I tried to stay within the game plan just couldn't get going. The hurry up worked late though, so that was encouraging. Looking forwad to next season.

yeh but the score was not 30 something to 0 im guessing thats a little much. for you not to see it either is kinda stupid anyone else would of got a lot of shit for this.

yeh i agree almost 40-0 no need to pass maybe if you start scoring pass a little but damn, but who am i to say.

This is an absolute horseshit excuse, mog. Up 38-0 and you still felt like you would lose after 3 games of what i'm pretty sure was domination? This league is not a "win at all costs" league. It's supposed to be fun for everyone involved.

You broke 3 rules in this game.
1. Don't play like a dick
1a. Don't run up the score.
2. Play like a real nfl coach would.

This is your last warning. Do not continue to play like this.

If people want to continue to "win at all costs", actions will be taken. And I'm not just picking out people who make the playoffs every year, there are teams with horrible losing records that play pretty underhandidly, as well.

It's time to get serious guys, all 32 members of this league are here to have fun, I can tell you it's absolutely NOT fun when 4, or 8, or 16 of those guys try to make the rest of the league feel like shit just so they can win a bloody football game on the internet.

Moving forward,I'm done handing out warnings. The next person to so blatantly ignore our league rules gets an immediate strike.

Were you also running the clock while executing this "not too conservative" offense?

out of all the games this was the only one that was dominated. But with this score no need to pass. Cheifs could of won the other ones though.

Thanks. Hopefully we can finish round 2 tonight and Saturday.

I'd assume we'll follow roughly the same timetable we did last season, though without as many pauses for us not knowing what we're doing.

Alright myfault won't happen again

Here are the game stats for the Ravens, now does this look like i was throwing the ball downfield trying to blow him out? My two top WR/ deep threats was shut down.

Flacco 10/14 for 193 2 td 1 pic QBR of 123.5
Goslic my TE had 5 catches for 104 1 td
Smith 2 for 46 yds
Maclin 1 for 13
boldin 1 for 23

Rice had 20 carries for 221

Tobias Bray 8 PR 203 25.4 return avg 2 td

Defense
Knighton had my only sack

The score was ugly yes and i understand y staticz would be upset with the way it happen i get that

ya gotta milk the clock, but there are times when short passes are safer calls than run plays in situations like that. i donno about 38-0 but if ur up a few scores trying to milk the clock, running into a blitz can be dangerous. more for ur guys getting injured and also fumbles in the backfield. im not defending mog im just sayin. in my opinion if ur up 28 points in the 4th and you have the ball, the game should be over, but 21 points can happen pretty fast with a little luck n madden bullshit, especially if you have the ball early in the 4th.

my point is running into a blitz is risky, a short throw here or there is smart and shouldnt be complained about, not saying thats what happened here tho
