Denver Broncos 24 - Buffalo Bills 8
The Broncos went on the road to Buffalo to open the playoffs and got off to a hot start with the help of some good defense and a few big plays on offense. The Bills defense tightened up a lot in the 2nd half and they started to move the ball as well, but the Broncos had built up a big enough lead to hold on.
Osweiler didn't throw much, going 4 of 8 for 86 yards, 1 TD and 0 INTs.
Fitzpatrick was 12 of 27 for 160 yards, 0 TDs and 2 INTs. He did throw a 2-point conversion.
McFadden carried 13 times for 63 yards and 2 scores. McGahee added 13 carries for 29.
Spiller had 13 carries for 46 yards and the Bills' lone TD.
Demaryius Thomas did all the damage for the Broncos, catching 2 balls for 69 yards, most of them on a 52-yard bomb for a TD.
Spiller lead the Bills with 6 catches for 61 yards.
The Broncos got picks from Bailey and Haden and a sack from Dockett. Key play for the Broncos' special teams: I faced a 4th-and-3 from the Bills' 43 late, considered either kicking the 60-yard FG (but it was into the wind) or going for it, but ended up punting and pinned the ball at the 2. Huge.
The Bills got a sack from Mario Williams, but were unable to turn the cautious Broncos over, which turned out to be the difference.

gg Ramesu! You definitely had me a bit nervous in the 2nd half once my offense stalled a bit and you moved the ball, but thankfully my D held up for the most part.
Now the Broncos wait to learn their next opponent. A Ravens win and I'm headed to Cincinnati, a Chiefs win and it's on to Houston.
