purple's don't work this year unless you have flat zones as well. The defender drops to the lower half of the purple because there is nothing covering the underneath, leaving the 8-10 yards deep throw open.

I drop my DE's into purple with (tight) man coverage that shades either way. That helps to stop the curl.
 
There are definitely ways to stop that route, but I do think it's justifiably hard to defend, especially since executing them well takes very good timing and decisiveness.

I really don't know, sorry. Uber said 11PM at the latest, but I'm not sure how firm that is. Hopefully he can clear that up for us.
 
I'm waiting to hear from OG, but I should be able to kickoff 20-30 mins after Nets-Nuggets ends so my guess is 11pm EST kickoff and midnight advance. Sorry for the holdup, but I got caught up yesterday.

Right. Obviously we'd all prefer to advance earlier in the evening so we can start on week 5, but as long as the game is played today it's not the end of the world.

i hear what you and troy are saying but. there has been time before where other players game were not scheduled yet so they got simmed so the league wouldnt get held up. so i was just wondering.

4 games left. The packers have been pretty inactive since last season and i dont remember and update regarding the gb-dallas game. Giants-Saints, i know neworl had asked doom to contact doo mane but i dont remember any time being stated. Uber/Og we know about and Dark/Blade dont have a time announced, but seem like they are attempting to get one.

I can play at 3:30 EST. I also PM'd saying this, PM me back to confirm since I'll get an email to my phone.
 
Neworl and Doo Mane are starting in 10 mins. So its just the gb vs dallas game thats uknown.

Edit: i just checked and mattyoung said that they were hoping for a 7 pm est playtime.

Edit2: Doomane and Neworl are having connection issues.

Chetty, what do you mean I have been inactive? I haven't posted much in the thread since I am on a mobile browser most of the time, but I check the thread daily and I've played all but 2-3 of my games across all our Madden 13 seasons. The only ones I didn't play were 1 against the CPU and 2 that just ran into scheduling conflicts.
 
Jets-Pats game will be simmed it looks like, so barring any changes there look for us to advance after the Packers-Cowboys game at 7 EST.

Just referencing that you havnt been active in the thread, i was not really commenting on the actual playing of games.
