is there a way to stop the cpu from bidding on players cuz right now, I'm battling with the Chargers for JJ Watt...
Nope the cpu bids and anyone put on auto will to.
is there a way to stop the cpu from bidding on players cuz right now, I'm battling with the Chargers for JJ Watt...
Nope. Even if an owner takes over, he wouldnt be able to withdraw an offer until next week.
is there a way to stop the cpu from bidding on players cuz right now, I'm battling with the Chargers for JJ Watt...
Unfortunately not. The commissioner can actually do very little this year when compared to Madden 12. Looks like we found an owner though, so he should be able to withdraw the offer once he joins up.
I want the Chargers team, xbox tag: Cheesy DinoDale , time available: noon till 7pm
Sure, welcome back! Fero can shoot you an invite.

Trade Alert

Bucs send:

2nd and 5th round pick of this draft.

Cowboys send:

WR Miles Austin 31 years old OVR 86
Contract: 2015 10.31M 2016 12.07M

he is trying to dump some cap.
No, we'll advance each FA week once per day.
sweet... i had 33 mil in cap space and i have a slew of players i'm after... kinda excited to rebuild this Texans team
Don't take the Ravens approach, that core is built for another title ;)
the core is intact... i'm attempting to fill some holes and get some young talent at a couple skill positions
Don't take the Ravens approach, that core is built for another title ;)
I'm still lost on that whole thing.
Same for Doom. Thanks for all your help on the committee, you've been invaluable. Have fun in Korea!
No problem. Enjoyed the committee experience, except when my trades got laughed out of the room. :cold: We'll see how it goes over there and maybe I'll be situated in time for Madden 25.

Dibs on the Broncos
the core is intact... i'm attempting to fill some holes and get some young talent at a couple skill positions
Yeah that defense needs some help. Couldn't stop much of anything until they would somehow clamp down in the redzone.

I have to take the real Carolina approach myself...let everyone else sign the big names and just rummage through the bargain bin :(

Cam is the only big contract I've negotiated myself, and yet I'm in pretty bad shape with the cap right now. This is despite just getting three of my biggest contracts off the books in Gross, Gamble, and Deangelo Williams last season/this offseason.

I'm in pretty decent cap shape. I don't have the obscene room that some have, but I've got some money to play with especially now that I don't have to worry since Haden, Miller, etc are all inked longterm. Osweiler is up after this year, but I don't expect he's going to want a huge payday.

Reposting this, since a couple of these guys have PLAYER OWNED teams bids on them.

Official League Announcement:

The Houston Texans have exclusive negotiating rights to these 5 guys:

TE Martellus Bennett
LE JJ Watt
CB Kyle Wilson
CB Kareem Jackson
CB Kelvin Hayden

Nobody else sign these guys.
This is the last season for this year right?
Not necessarily. I said it would be my last season, but that doesn't mean the league can't continue without me. Or that I won't change my mind. :D

Trade up for review

Raiders send 2nd round #34 pick

Eagles send MLB Demeaco Ryans 83 OVR 32(I think posting on my phone) 5 mil on his last year

Fun fact, this is our 100th trade this year, at least according to the voting spreadsheet. No, there's no prize. ;)
Out of the 100 how many were passed
A lot of those are re-submissions of deals that were initially rejected, so doing an exact count is difficult. Last time I checked we were at around 2/3rds.

If anyone needs a monster DT in A. Rubin, please let me know. Stats are as follows.

91 Overall, 95 strength, 88 power move, 92 block shedding, 86 PRC, 91 tackle.

Please send me an offer. Looking for help at LB/CB/FS. Also would like draft picks. At least a first rounder.
Out of the 100 how many were passed
Better question is out of the 100, how many involved Dvo trading or trading for a receiver? Lol

involing me somewhere around 12-14
involving a WR 8-10
lol so 10% or around there lol
Is it safe to assume around a 8 pm advance again?
That's the plan.
Everyone is bidding on Sherman I see. He is going to see some big money this off-season.
Yeah. I threw a bid in just to not feel left out. Whoever overpays for him is going to be sorely disappointed, I scouted his attributes when he was still on the Seahawks and he's really not all that great in the game.

i wish i could bid on the guy but the Dirty Birds are looking broke lol. i hope he doesn't go to a top tier team in the league

When you have little talent at the position, sometimes you may need to overpay. I have one legitimate starting corner on my roster in Browner. Perhaps Browner and Sherman will be reunited in Cleveland. I also have a young Corner named Harris who I am really high on. Looking to rebuild the secondary this off-season.

It's not 2012-2013 Richard Sherman, it's 2011-2012 Richard Sherman. Still a decent player, but nothing special. He'd be the 3rd or 4th best corner on most of the top teams.

You've Submitted 20 Trades.

I'll leave it at that.

Can i retire from the trade committee, dvo's wasting entirely too much of my time.
If only everyone realized Sherman's speed is a 79 and his man coverage/press is in the 30's. :)
Better remove my bid... ;)

We all can't be that lucky.. Save some scraps for the rest of us. :D

Updated Trade Block. Looking to move into the first round of the draft and dump some of my later round picks.

Arizona Trade Block: Just a warning, some of these depend on how my Free Agency turns out and some are just to see what I can get in return. Orange are the players i'm looking to trade, Red are the players i'm willing to entertain offers for and Green are players that will take a lot to get them from me.
