I'm still not confident they're going to win, but watching the Celtics putting a hurting on the Heat for 1 quarter, including ending on a 17-0 run, was beautiful.

plus last time i saw a sports team break the single season record and the longest winning streak record they choked in the playoffs which is what i hope happens to the heat as well. Im hoping that its the thunder year to win it all

I don't think it's a deliberate conspiracy or anything, no. But it's obvious to anyone with eyes that the Heat get calls which the vast majority of other teams don't get. Combined with their talent, that's an incredibly difficult disparity for teams to overcome.
 
Meh, the refs have let a lot of stuff go tonight. I saw a handful of no calls in the 4th.

Battier making Pierce look like a noob cracks me up. Taking one out of Rondo's book to seal the game, #34 must be steaming right now :D

Well, the game was pretty wells sealed at that point. For me it was sealed when the Celtics took an entire timeout before their 2nd-to-last possession only to run a play for Brandon Bass. Nice one, Doc.
 
i think the celtics will give the heat a even better run in the playoffs when they have KG im hoping they knock them out in the playoffs.

Celtics made a lot of bad decisions in the 4th. Lee is the only reason they didn't lose by 8. Once Chalmers hit that 3 I knew it was over. I've watched enough Heat games to know when the tide is getting ready to turn, you could just feel it there.

On top of hitting a few 3's, Courtney Lee is fast as shit. Probably would've been a different outcome with KG on the floor, MIA got too many rebounds.

Admittedly, I don't watch much Celtic basketball but I would think KG is an upgrade over Brandon Bass.

He is, but Bass is the one who starts over Green. Green wouldn't have even been in that position had KG played.

Yes, I know there were deals which were submitted before this which still need a ruling, we're still working on those.
 
We've filled one opening on the Trade Committee with bseti. I'm still working on getting another member, but we are at least back up to 5 people for now.

We're still working on Bucs-Cowboys. That's the only other open trade, right?
 
I think simming the pre-season would be a good idea this season. Pretty much everyone knows there depth (except rookies). And I think most pre-seasons games have a cpu or get simmed anyway.

Seems like going straight to the season after the draft would be better.

I have no strong opinion on it either way. Whatever the majority of the league wants is fine with me. We may or may not be doing a structured FA waiver period again, really will depend on who is left after normal FA.

I figure a lot of people don't want to bother with the 4 pre-season games.

im good with a sim, also wouldn't mind playing them either.
