Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
Anyone care to sum up any of the free agent signings? I am curious if I got any of my targets. Wish I was at home to check on my x-box.
nothing yet... still haven't advanced.

since we're talking about FAs, it would be awesome it the Redskins and Seahawks could rescind their offers to Kyle Wilson and Kareem Jackson respectively... they are not available for negotiations.
5 minutes from now, hemingway, sorry, was such a beautiful day, lost track of time riding the bicycle!
Also i was wondering if my trade will be denied or accepted by the end of the day tomorrow because if its denied there is a FA i might target?

are there still any teams open? it looks like the other league might be going under, and while i feel i might get smacked around in here i'd still like to play real pepole who arent cheesers online. let me know!

Yup, both the Jets and Steelers are still open. The Jets roster probably bares a slightly closer resemblance to its original form at this point (with a couple differences here and there, like Matt Schaub at QB and Jonathan Joseph at CB). I'd say that's probably the more talented of the two rosters.
Thanks to Superstar for agreeing to be the 6th member of the trade committee. Glad to have you aboard!
Thanks!

i wouldn't mind trading him if the Bonus penalty wasn't so big.

Derek fisher did the same thing.

"I want to spend time with my family Mark. Ok. go ahead." *signs with okc.*

mavs released him becuz fisher is a liar. he wasnt under contract that just makes him a liar lol and well a dick as well. but cuban released him thinking he was actually retiring but he really went somewhere to try and become a champion again

Change of heart. Really thought I was done with this game but I'm just sick of the Texans. I like the idea of trying to build the Steelers up.

Was going to just focus on school and the transition, but eh, I'm in.

If this was all a ploy to get off of the trade committee, well played. ;)

In unrelated news, I just made my first hole-in-one in Hot Shots Golf for the Vita. I am disproportionately proud of this accomplishment relative to the level of skill actually required to achieve it.

It alright. I would want to get out of my division too. :D

Good luck with the new team! I think it will interesting to see how it goes without the Supersoldier. I am sure you'll still kill, but it may be a big change.

Lol bv, just changed my mind. If you ever feel the need to expand to 7, count me in.

Thanks! Yeah, got some work to do with Gore.
Doom got tired of winning thought he would try losing for a change
Coach Brett Favre is turning this ship around.

Fitzgerald is on the block btw, looking for CBs in return

The Rams have lots o' CBs for sale - Finnegan, Cox, Jenkins
so u leave me with a team full of guys with AARP silver memberships? i think Silky Johnson just missed the Hater's Ball festivities...
 You'll do well with that team, don't worry.
I'm initiating a search for a young, strong armed (90+ THP) qb to back up, and eventually take over for Philip Rivers...
Delonte Flowers in obviously the best option. :D In a more serious tone, Blaine Gabbert is on free agency. He's not great, but not awful.

Trade Approved

In a vacuum we probably wouldn't have approved this, but this is a case where the financial situation definitely made a difference.
well im guessing AP will never break the rushing record now with the new helmet rule
I know I'm probably in the minority among football fans, but I agree with the change. Helmets should be protection, not weapons. I certainly understand the argument people make against "softening" the game, but given everything we know now about how devastating these head injuries are, anything which reduced that is a good thing in my eyes, even if it makes the game "more boring."

the only reason for the change was so the nfl wouldnt get sued if they really didnt want to get sued they should just make the players sign waivers to be able to play and just find or develop safer helmets. the tech is out there these days the nfl just doesnt want to cough up dough to pay for it

I think madden should limit what stats can be progressed on players. For example, speed should be one stat that should never be able to be improved. The reality is that many NFL players rarely improve their overall top speed once coming into the league. To keep things real going forward, something has to give in terms of what stats can be improved for individual players.

Just something I was thinking about today..

Won't happen. Then they would have to put thought into the game development.

Along those same lines the same should be said about PRC and AWR. Both should be improved the more a player plays the game. Have them both be correlated to the amount of plays and games that they are in.

We've discussed this before, we all pretty much agree. I'm hoping they refine the progression system to be more realistic next year, but I'm not holding my breath.

With the new helmet rule wile running the ball is bs. Those things happen and becomes second nature to these players who run inside the tackles. There might be more injuries then before

I'm interested in moving back into the first round of the draft (traded my 1st to the Vikings to move up last year) if anyone is looking to trade out.
