i think I'll be up and running next Friday... consequently, would i be able to finish this season out as the Rams, then take over the Texans?
 
I just told some people about the site so more players are coming.

EDIT: Obviously Deuce has seniority, but if he wants to wait and take the Texans instead I have guys interested in the spot.

broncos beat the falcons
i really dont understand maddens wind doesnt make since im punting it saying its blowing forward and a little to the right. so i punt it blows the punt backwards and to the left instead. same with FGs it blows the opposite direction. i havent really had to deal with the wind much to notice this since my team is in a dome and havent had many windy games but has that thing been off like that this whole time the games been out.

EDIT: it wouldnt have changed anything in the game most likely BV had me beat no matter what its just frustrating that madden cant even get something like that right.

The wind direction arrow bug has been in the game since Madden 11. It's terrible, yes, but if you're not used to it by now I don't know what to tell you. If it's pointing left, the wind is blowing right. I'm not making excuses for the game, and it's beyond ridiculous that so obvious a bug hasn't been fixed for 3 years, but at this point there's really no reason not to be prepared for it.
 
Denver Broncos 31 - Atlanta Falcons 0

The Broncos welcomed the Atlanta Falcons to Denver but their defense, as it has been all season, wasn't exactly welcoming. The Denver secondary and the pass rush didn't give the Falcons the chance to breathe all day. Even once the scrubs were in come the 4th quarter, they were able to maintain the shutout. In heavy rain and high winds, it wasn't a good day to throw the ball, but Darren McFadden came to play, which was good enough for the Broncos.

Osweiler was 8 of 14 for 81 yards, 1 TD and 0 INT.

Ryan was 5 of 16 for 98 yards, 0 TDs and 0 INT.

McFadden carried 12 times for 131 yards and 2 TDs, with McGahee adding 6 carries for 18 in continuing to struggle this year (while continuing to ask me for a big contract).

Taiwan Jones had 12 carries for 94 yards.

VJax lead the Broncos with 3 catches for 41 yards, while Demaryius Thomas converted his lone 5-yard catch for a TD.

Mike Wallace lead the Falcons with 2 catches for 64 yards (though 46 of those came on a heave on the last play of the game).

The Broncos got another good game from their D-line, with 1st round pick Jaron Archer getting 2 sacks, including a strip sack near the Falcons' end zone which Von Miller scooped and scored. Derek Wolfe and Elvis Dumervil each added a sack as well. No picks for the Broncos, but they were certainly in the receivers' business all day.

The Falcons got sacks from Krunch and Brown, both on blitzes against play action. Jason Kinslow attempted 3 long field goals and missed all 3 (two clanging off the cross-bar).

Broncos move to 3-0 on the season and are off to a very hot start, especially on defense as they pitch their second consecutive shutout. Next up are the new look Raiders.
 
lol makes me glad ive played so many games in domes and games without wind. that i havent even noticed it in this madden. missed 3 kicks lol 2 off the uprights and one just looked really bad. after missing out on the first 2 i knew this game was over 10-0 lead instead of 10-6. i think my favorite kick was the one that hit the left upright then the bottom then the right side and bounced out i was thinking that was going to go in after all the crazy bouncing around the ball did
well either way GG BV as usual

So i am trying to do the finishing touches on maddendaddy.com/cagfl webpage. Anyone know of any interesting/cool widgets i could add? Also if anyone is good with photoshop, itd be cool to have a banner with cagfl or something along those lines in it.

I'd prefer you either commit to the Rams or wait for the Texans, especially considering that we apparently have others interested. You have first dibs on either case though.

I PMed Matt and told him he could play the CPU, as long as he gets the game in before 10 EST. We'll still be advancing then.
 
We missed a window to play around 4 or 5 (I haven't been home all day), so it looks like next available for both of us is 10pm. Sorry to hold things up.
 
Sorry! I had to travel. I got notified Friday evening and had to leave Friday night. I just PM'd the seahawks owner stating I will be here until around 11 pm est but if not feel free to play the CPU.
 
If nobody wants the Rams, I'd gladly take them. I'm also in the other CAG league and just looking for more practice against sim-style players. Made the playoffs last season but lost to Chetty in the divisional round. This season I'm 7-3 so far. I'm not as good As Chetty or Hemingway (had both in my division last season) but I like competition.
If one of these other guys pick up STL, could I get on the waiting list here? Thanks.
 
yeah a little irritating considering they wouldnt give me more than 24 hours for my first game after i joined, but hey. squeaky wheel gets the oil right?
 
I posted last page that we were going to be a late one. We haven't been able to connect before tonight. And the game just got dc'd too so, hold tight.
