I didnt see any over watch mode. I fnished in the top 50 for the tower sub event. Got a bunch of random tokens that I quickly sold off for ISO.

Over watch was the title of the last node in the tower sub event. Basically the "boss" node. Most enemies were beatable but that one node everyone had trouble. The enemies were boosted to the point that even though my team was higher level wise, Ares would basically go through whole team alone.

Yeah so everyone go play the heroic procso mode!

Did crappy on the God of lies tournament. My Im 40 is at level 95 but I just can't bring myself to level him over 100. He's just so meh, even though I needed that blue since I only one.
Did so bad that I only got a black bullseye. This is the third black bullseye this week....from this tournament! I think it's a sign.
 
You must have needed Patch to unlock that.

Two of the end battles (one with the new Daken) in Heroic mode give anywhere from 700-1400 points. I guess I'll just replay those over and over and over. I dont seem to be moving up much based on my wins, though.

 
Revaz is in, and brought us up to #182. Let's get that push to 150.

How he's scored 30k+ with that roster is a mystery. He does have a Patch, but he must also play a TON.

Overwatch was a basic node. No Patchy necessary.

Yeah I have no idea how some people score as much as they do. I am #3 right now and the two people above me do not have anyone over level 30 and each one's roster is like 6 characters...

If this guy plays a ton and does this well with few characters, lets hope he continues to play tons as he gains more too haha.

But yeah you getting 160 is a lot haha, mine are all almost at <100 for the time being.

I booted a random that we had for a while that was not scoring well in this event at all. If we could score another person with 30k then I can definitely see us making another jump to 150. Keep at it ambassador!

We just scored 'natehc' who has 31.5k in Oscorp! Someone say hi to him so he stays!!

We are at #162 now!

Kicked out another random that has been sitting in our group for a bit. Now we just need one more at 30k and we will slide easily into the top 150!!

Im like ok he has a patch which could help, but who else? Modern storm, MN Magneto? I threw out my classic Hawkeye so I didnt even realize that was a useable character.

All my nodes have hit ~100 points, so Im at a stand still myself. Im #12 in my bracket, so I expect that to drop since rubber banding is in full effect this last round.

I think because this is NOT a timed event, or should I say the sub events were not timed, that threw a lot of people off. I too was in this, I did horrible on the 1st sub event because points were moving so slow & I was waiting for rubber banding. The second I went to try and play the sub event was over & a new one started. Im just hoping that hitting nodes at ~100 wont hurt me too bad & maybe I should just let the points rebound. This change in tactics really threw a lot of us off & new folks who arent used to the game just ended up grinding. Which is probably why lower level players with limited rosters have higher points, they arent used to the games previous mechanics and they're going in gung ho.

 
Another new guy joined who has a DECENT score, not great. He bumped us to just above 150, so either I kick him and wait for another 30k'er or you guys start grinding!! : P

 
Exactly at 150 as we speak. I'm sub-hundred for everything too, so standing in line, waiting like everyone else.

And right now, I wish I could chat. I just lol'd at work, and caught a crazy look from the receptionist at the copy machine.

He is at like 20k or so and really with someone at 30k plus us all still going at it we can easily stay in 150.

Junshere isn't going to be much help outside of Oscorp... 172 points for Season 1.

It''s almost like if my Vikings drafted someone in the first round that only played his position for 2 years before coming to the NFL.

Edit: and for the record, I'm happy with the pick because he's crazy fuck ing athletic and those guys have worked well for us in the 1st round, but I'm tired of trying to defend it to friends and so-called fans that wanted Johnny "Drink-My- fuck Face-Off" Football.

Shhhhh, don't tell them but we are just using them for this event....

Hahah I am fine doing this each event, just expelling low scoring randoms continually until we get good ones. Then they up on the chopping block come the next event!

I really just want to mess with some peoples heads, mostly the randoms, and see how it goes.

Yeah I had to walk away, after getting beat by Ares/Yelena/Daken Mohawk twice in a row I know Im getting frustrated. Thats the only node giving me 200+ points too.  Second time I used boosts & that still didnt help.  Really they are more powerful than me even though Im at a higher level? Increasing their HP and damage doesnt make it more difficult.  It just means I die quicker, since the computer isnt really playing any better.

Ah not just me, the MPQ forums are showing people getting beat downs left and right by 200+ enemies.

So long as we all keep playing enough tonight we will score our Daken Alliance Cover!

I did not do so hot in the Loki tournament. Accidentally ended up in a bad bracket and only got a taste of top 50 before getting smacked down into the 60s. But, since I got a random IM40 cover from a standard token earlier this week, I don't feel as bad as I probably would.

I don't think I'm going to get multiple covers for Daken unless about 50 people in front of me are stuck with bad nodes, but I'll do my best to bring in points. I did beat Mohawk twice early on, but that node is up to 122 and not risking the health packs.

 
The one-letter typing via in-game chat is being caused by an incompatibility with Swiftkey. I can change my input method once I click into the text box, so I can chat again!

I always had to hit one key at a time anyway so that makes sense! I will test it out myself!

... I can't change my input method once in the text box... how did you?

In Jelly Bean (Android 4.3), I can swipe down from the top of the screen to show my notification bar in any full screen app. Swipe down again to pull bring up the quick view menu, and I can choose my input method from there. Not sure how with other versions of Android.

 
was never a big fan on swftkey, though people swear by it.  I used to love Flex T9, but then they discontinued that. However the company that made it now works on Swype, its similar but if you can still get flex t9 (it as an amazon faotd a LONG time ago) its one of the better trace style keyboards imho.  Im on swype now only because I think it was a Faotd too, if it wasnt for that back to flex for real.

Though oddly enough as I looked into when my Droid RAZR Maxx HD would get an update, I found out it should be this week to 4.4.2!! Hahah what timing!

Well I've only got 4.0.3, thank you HTC for constantly forgetting about your older phones.
Anyways go under settings & look for the language keyboard option. That should give you the option to change your default keyboard. The other method is to go into your text messages. Hit your menu key & there should be an options tab. Click that & there should be an input method option. From there you should be able to change keyboards as well.

I forgot another completely easy method (at least on my phone). When you type ANYTHING (text/ e-mail/ whatever), in the notification bar above you should see a little keyboard. Drop the notification menu & click the keyboard, should give you a list of input methods to change to.

I would rather be able to do it in game quickly. Oh well, my update should be out soon, I can wait a few days.

We are seriously losing some major grounds as an Alliance.. We are at like 132 or so right now... That is far too close for comfort. My fights are all getting 67 or less now so I am taking a break.

Go CAGvengers! We got this home stretch!!
 
I just set it down again too. My Mohawk Daken battle would only net me 94 points to battle a level 138 team. No thanks.

I held onto one of the 50% Heroic Mode bonuses for that battle at about 10:45 CDT tonight.

Bah, I was so close to getting another X-Force cover. Oh well, I scored top 6 so I got plenty of ISO, HP and both covers.

I also literally got 35002 so I was able to get the Oscorp token which I redeemed and got another Red Patch Wolverine Cover!

PLUS CAGVENGERS IS AWESOME AND WE SCORED IN THE TOP TIERS AND GOT THE DAKEN COVER!! : D

But yeah I am staying up working on a concept painting and I keep checking and the rewards are taking forever to get here! Not that I will do anything with them now... I just want 'em! I hope everybody did great in this event! : )

Got the update last night.

Yeah I have been having a hard time even connecting to the game itself. Then when it loads there is no Alliance, or no Missions. It is all screwy plus still no rewards at all. : /

Looks like everyone is having issues according to the internet : P
