I'm pretty sure you can, I went back for the Ghost Rider Simulation disc in Mephisto's level, I haven't done that with action figures but I'd think it would work the same for all items. As long as the item wasn't in part of a level that gets destroyed, you can go to a save point and extract.

Yaeh you can which is nice. I went back and picked up a couple of Black Panther statues I had missed and one Daredevil statue so far. I got Black Panther and the achievement finally and so all I need now are a couple more for Daredevil and I'm golden.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is the award-winning action/RPG that allows players to create their Marvel dream team from the largest roster of Super Heroes ever in an epic quest that will determine the fate of Earth and the Marvel universe. With a total of over 140 popular Marvel characters and a playable cast of more than 20 Super Heroes, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Blade and Captain America, gamers embark on a dangerous journey across exotic terrain and well-known comic book locations like Atlantis, the Shield Heli-Carrier and the Skrull home world in an attempt to defy Dr. Doom and the world’s most notorious Super Villains.

The downloadable content will be released in three packs. I dunno, $10 is a lot for the Heroes and Villians pack (and I mean, if you're even remotely interested in this, why would you not get both?). However, I still haven't quite finished the game (thanks to my huge CAG-inspired backlog), so might get a little more out of it than if I did everything. I wonder what the special team bonuses will be with these xtra characters?
 
Did they give a date for when the content would be up?

Edit: Nevermind. I see the April part. Jeez, that's the second thing I missed on the forums today. Might be time for some new glasses.
 
Oh, that is very tempting. I was hoping for some new missions, but those 8 characters could be very fun. I'll probably bite on that one.
 
The price point hurts... especially if you've beaten the game already.
 
I'm probably going to pick this one up like I mentioned in another thread. I'm really interested in how Hulk will be used. I hope that they still add some more characters between now and then or add them later on like Iron Fist (could just be skin over Daredevil), The Punisher (they got Hulk and he was tied up elsewhere so they can manage to get Punisher).

I hope they add some more missions or extend the game as well.
 
I'll definitely be grabbing it. I loved the game, and am willing to pay more for more content. Especially if there's new achievements involved.
 
Alright, so the news of this new content got me get back into the game. Since I really only played it when I had a friend over, I didn't get too into it. But going solo definetly rules. But what I'm wondering is, I used cheat codes to get the characters, mostly from peer pressure, but I also wanted to thrash around with some of the locked characters. I know that this disables the achievements, which didn't bother me at the time. On my next play through though, will that carry over, or is it just a matter of starting a new save file?

You'd probably have to delete your entire file is what I think I've read somewhere for the achievements to open back up.

Spidey's web forum and then I also saw it on GameFAQs when I was browsing through the Marvel UA boards.

Just to be sure, these are still speculative and of course nothing concrete has been released, but at least these are the rumors that are out. Hope that helps someone.

Magneto, Hulk, and Venom :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool: They have pics up of the others like Cyclops, but not of their alternate skins and the only one that they haven't shown yet is Nightcrawler. Still, I hope that the rumor going around now that this will be the one and only DLC for this game is false. I really want Iron Fist and some others in this game. Aww man this is gonna be sick. I already can't wait for number 2 whenever it comes out:lol:

Green Goblin might have been doable, but Doc Ock I truly doubt it. Maybe that's something to look forward to in number 2. Sabretooth and Hawkeye are there because one's a quick transfer/upgrade/update from XML2 and the other was in the PSP version. Still, I see no reason why Iron Fist shouldn't be in the DLC since he was also on the PSP version (can't wait for the PSP game to drop now) and that Luke Cage is there (they sort of go hand in hand). Who knows, but maybe Jean Grey would have changed/modified the story too much for her inclusion.

I don't think he was as major other than the part of him going evil and me killing him. I know that Jean Gray had all the cutscenes starting from Arcade and had to work with Prof. X so who knows.
 
Since I'm trying to finish up the Valhalla missions, when do you get The Trickster Achievement? I thought it was supposed to come right after you defeated Loki and his wolves? Also, is the sound supposed to go out during his battle?

Nevermind, I had a glitch in my game and had to revert to my save just before my battle with Loki. And I finally got that damn Scarlet Swashbuckler achievement so go me! but G-d damn it I hate these collect something to get an achievement achievements. It's so freaking stupid to have to comb over an entire board just for a stupid ass figurine.:bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb:

I don't know if it's been in this thread or the other, but it's been confirmed for new achievements similar to what happened with Oblivion.

Not that I know of actually. You kind of have to guestimate it as you go and go by the achievements as you received them. Best way to get this one, though, is during mephisto's stage where you get locked in one of the sections of the map and the enemies continue to regenerate themselves. I also think that there are a couple of decent comic missions you can do this in like Blade's.

That's good to know. I'm not gonna worry about it too much right now, just due to my achievements being disabled. I totally stand by the cheat codes though, Silver Surfer and Thor on the same team = Hellz Yah!

But now I'm wondering, what with me getting all back into the game(dl content being the catalyst more or less :lol: ) how is it online? Same as having multiple people on one console. Or does the camera stay like it would if you were playing solo?
 
Does anybody have the Golden Age of Comics achievement and if so how long did it take you to get? Also, which did you think was the hardest or most annoying mission to get gold on?

I disagree. There are a crap-ton of X-Men characters in the game because there are a crap-ton of X-Men heroes in the comics. There aren't nearly as many in Spider-Man, and seeing as there are now two from that comic, the development team wouldn't want to flood the game with 'em. I would have rather seen them put in Man-Thing instead.

Depends. Some, like the ones that have the ability to be invincible, have different strategies to kill them, etc.
 
I have a question for all, when/how do you unlock Mr. Fantastic's fourth costume? I ended up doing his mission first before getting the second or third costume and I ended up getting gold on it, but I still don't have his fourth costume unlocked. Am I doing something wrong or is there another thing I'm supposed to do before it becomes available?
 
If there are new Achievements, then I'll have an incentive to replay the game with the new DLC characters.

Come on, someone has to know. This is fucking pissing me off. I finally unlocked his third costume - the Marvel Knights one - and have done his simulation disc mission probably 10 times by now. Probably 6 out of those 10 times have been gold and the other 4 silver and bronze. Why the fuck won't it unlock? Bah!H!H!H:bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb:
 
And on a calmer thought, what exactly do you keep when you start/continue into a new game+? I'm assuming your stats, but what about costumes, simulation mission discs, etc.?

The only thing I can think of is that you didn't beat bulldozer in under 10 minutes? I haven't yet, and well, I've not gotten the last costume either for Mr. Fantastic.

It's kinda frustrating since Bulldozer has the nice "grab and go" feature, and Mr. Fantastic's a melee fighter of sorts.

Most of them are harder than this one, but this one seems to be more annoying than most of the "defeat villian x"

I've beaten him with plenty of time to spare. I've tried rushing through the level and then beat him with 7 minutes to spare, but again, nothing.

That's really odd. I'm going to have to give it a shot again to see if I can do it with that much time to spare and see if the game's got a glitch... or we're just not holding our controllers right or something...

Next thing you know you'll be wearing a bra on your head!
 
I'm hoping one of you guys can help me here. I used cheat codes on my first play through, as I previously stated a page or two back. Well, I deleted my saved data, started a new game on medium, and went to change my team up a bit to discover that every character was still unlocked! So my issue is, are the achievements still disabled? Or maybe I should delete my new saved game, turn my system off, and try again?
