You can maybe try clearing the cache too. I'm not sure if that'll help. Thing is you'll have to download all the patches for your games again.

But it's looking like there's no way to undo the cheat codes :whistle2:\

Ugh I'm torn. On the one hand I really want to get the new characters, but I've already beat MA, and am so backlogged on games I won't have time to play it again. Tough call.
 
If I were you I'd just pass on it and work on the backlog. Luckly for me this will be my first run through the game.
 
THose pics are awesome, but I really couldn't care less for Sabretooth. Really don't understand why they found it necessary to include him.

Here's a little update for guys who decided to use cheat codes. Using that "clear the cache" trick worked. I still have all characters and costumes, but I'm getting achievement points for beating bosses. So any cheaters can undo the cheats with a cleared cache and a new save file.

Also, does anyone know if Hulk will count for The New Fantastic Four?

You beat me to it. :lol: I can't wait to play through the game again. I just finished up DoomStark and Doom castle tonight. That has to be one of the best endings ever and one of the most mouth watering.:drool::drool::drool::drool: I love how they showed glimpses into the future of what could happen thanks to your actions. I wonder if the save file you have for MUA1 will affect any storyline in 2 or in what direction they'll take it in. I love the first optional future from the Omega Base and a certain mutant virus.;)

These could be some interesting achievements. I'd like to see what the Wrong Claws, Fleeting Allies, and Doppelganger achievemnts do. Can't wait till this is released. I saw this up on live and also thought that it was already up.

On my second playthrough, I'm going to make sure to get Mr. Fantastic's fourth costume as soon as I get his disc. I was told by the GameFAQs boards (hey they're good for some stuff) that it's a glitch in the game and that the only way to remedy it is by starting a new game (either plus or normal) and obtaining his sim disc again and seeing if it works then. If it wasn't for his glitch then I'd have all the costumes and the all costumes achievement (since I already went through all the sim discs and got most of the costumes I might as well). I should be nearing the 4000 enemies killed one as well. I still have a couple sim discs to go through the get Silver Surfer's achievement (even though I used his code to get him since it doesn't affect the achievement) so I might do that while I wait for the expansion. Can't wait, and still pissed off about Mr. Fantastic and his stupid ass costume

Edit: i finsihed off with 675, but does anyone know how long it would take to do the online live/arcade achievements. Do people still play this game online?

Are there a few CAGs out there that didn't play mulitplayer when it first came out that are planning on it when the DLC comes out?

I didn't play any multiplayer and I wouldn't mind playing with some CAGs after the DLC comes out for some achievements.

Sure. How many can be on multiplayer at a time? Two or upto 4 because of party members?

I'm planning on doing most of the game hopefully through multiplayer and on hard mode once DLC comes to bare.
 
I'm up for some multiplayer, if only for those achievements and to get some gaming in with CAGs, as opposed to random people. (not that CAGs aren't random people, they just seem less random ;) )

Ok, glad to hear that there are quite a few people that would be in for some multiplayer once the DLC comes.

I will be around pretty much all day on the 10th, so if anyone gets it early we could get a game going on Tuesday.

Haven't played in a while. I forgot how do you get the additional costumes again for each character? Do you just keep playing as them and they unlock?

I went out and got 2, but I had already planned on getting them. Now hopefully the bulk of the other is still there for when Gears new maps come out.

The new Gears maps are going to cost money? If so then definitely not cool. I thought the Gears people said that they wouldn't be charging fans for the adde dmaterial to the game.

Anyway, I still have 400 from my 1600 card I bought before after I purchased the CoD3 maps and played the shit out of them and then TMNT: The Arcade game. I think I have a couple 100 bonus points somewhere, but that still won't cover the full 800 I would need for the extra characters.

Not sure. I was up late last night waiting for it to drop at the stroke of midnight, but it wasn't there. I remember that I think the CoD3 map pack was pushed a bit, but that was due to bug testing, etc. and then it still dropped around midnight.
 
I did a little footwork but turned up nothing of real note.

Some people were complaining about issues after yesterday's auto-update. Things like unlocked characters relocking, equipment appearing on wrong characters, etc.

They did say, however, that the new characters do appear on the character select screen, albeit grayed out.

I wouldn't be surprised if the content ends up getting delayed due to a seemingly botched patch.
 
Especially since it seems to be a pretty major glitch. People are saying you have to sell off all the equipment you have because their effects mess up.
 
Am I missing something, this download doesn't add any new levels so what's the point of getting it if I've already finished the game?
 
Well, reports are saying the trailer has been removed from the Marketplace.

This is placing folks in two camps

1) OMG! Its coming out soon!

or

2) Its been removed since it had a release date of April 10th at the end of the trailer.

I'm leaning towards the latter, but hoping for the first.

Oh yes... all my items are jacked. The description is totally changed on most, mostly of the changes obviously referencing the new characters.

The funniest one is "Blackheart's (whatever)", description: 5% damage reflected on self. So why would you want that?

The screen where you select characters for your team has darkened placeholders for the new guys (much like the existing "locked" character silhouettes.
 
i just started playing through for the first time and i've been borked from the update as well (or i think i have).

i only have the default costumes for all my heros, although i had unlocked numerous others. Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, etc. are all gone.

anyone know if there could be another reason why they disappeared other than the update?
 
Yoiks. I did fire up the game around midnight this morning in hopes of picking up the DLC--since that never came, though, I never did a dry run of the game itself. Oh well, I'm not planning to play until the new DLC is available, so I guess I won't worry about the fuck ed up items and DLC-related screwiness just yet...

also: is it just me or is Xbox Live crazy slo these days?

I'm so happy now that I didn't see it/Dl anything/nothing came up. It's sort of a relief, but I am saddened by what happened to you guys and it is depressing that we can't play it yet. Hopefully they fix this pronto.
