Regarding the Tali/Legion situation:
If you say you were at 100% at the time of the conflict, then it only leaves one real answer in my mind for why you weren't able to resolve the issue using a Renegade persuasion. By using part of the quote I posted a few days ago, you can see where the problem
has to be (I bolded the important part):
According to BioWare the problem is that at some point in the game you fell behind in the amount of Renegade points you were able to get on a certain planet/station and, despite reaching the 100% mark, it caused you to fail the Renegade persuasion. I couldn't even begin to tell you when/where you may have fallen behind or lost points on the imaginary Paragon/Renegade scoreboard that tracks all your decisions, but I can say that it's the reason why you weren't able to use the Renegade option.
I don't mean for it to sound like I'm saying "you

ed up", I'm just basing it off the information that BioWare's given on the Paragon/Renegade system and the fact that they've stood by this system when people question certain aspects of it (always stating that it "works as intended"). I'm also not denying the idea that it could be a glitch.
Yes, that all makes sense except for that fact that I was immediately able to regain Legion's loyalty after "failing" the fight. It's as if regaining lost loyalty relies solely on an arbitrary renegade/paragon score, not the more esoteric
the points you have vs the points you could have had score.
Oh well, at least everyone is loyal this time.
