Also, why does Garrus have a Shuriken?
he couldn't conceal a mantis in that suit...

Or just being a douche.
Oh Ink, too bad you couldn't join up today, I was playing with two...colorful...individuals and thought that you would appreciate their commentary ;)
I missed out on a possible Team Vorcha meet up? THIS GAME IS RACIST.

I still haven't found the time to test DAT FLAMING REEGAR on Gold yet. Silver is a serious joke with a Vorcha and randoms still can't wrap their heads around a Soldier anything that doesn't suck. I get kicked even on FBW/G/G.
Also, why does Garrus have a Shuriken?
Because it isn't Garrus, but his evil twin Barrus. He specializes in shitty guns, cheap suits and Salarian escorts.

I liked the maps, so much that I played 3 hours straight last night, found a new breath in multi-player again. Also didn't help that 3 of my classes started back at level 1 due to the weekend promoting challenge. :p

I love that the multi-player maps are not cookie cutter symmetrical maps. I guess due to not having to worry about pvp you can get away with this but I love Gears so much yet the multi-player level designs feel so simple symmetrical layout and all.

Jade is cool but Goddess is a fav.

Oh my gosh I found this ME ending comparison (which was talked about but never before, not to my knowledge anyway, seen edited together) ROFL, and ticked off...
I mean how do you make a mistake that's already been done before (the movie trilogy).

I don't know. Colonel Sanders didn't really piss me off as much as ME3's ending did. Probably because I was FAR less invested in it than I was in the game.

You can say what you want, but ME is all about choice and consequence. More specifically, YOUR choices and consequences.

A movie's just a movie and even if it's a trilogy, the most you'll sitting there for is about 9 hours. You can have an opinion on it, but in the end, it doesn't matter. The movie played out how the writers/director wanted it to. There was never an participation on the part of the audience. On the other hand, let's say about 30/40 hours per ME game, where you decide who lives/dies and many other options. That's 90-120 hours of investment on your part.

Oh I completely agree with you, that's the beauty of video games, and I'm a big movie fan but I feel that medium is lacking due to it being passive but the similarities are uncanny (and there was a big fan outcry then). Now I don't mind just sitting down and absorbing a movie but yeah I also like to actively participate with a story, characters and firefights. ;)

Gah wanted to play some multiplayer today, can't connect to EA servers...

With Diablo 3 out I have not played much of Mass Effect 3. I played one game of bronze today and I like that they added something different for waves 3, 6, and 10. Didn't get to play on any of the bases in the one game I played that were new. Also bought a spector pack and nothing new came in it. I did get a skill reset that was silver. I have never seen them in the past so maybe that was new. I need to build up the classes again after last week so I will be on tonight and some tomorrow. I think I will just level to 20 with a class then buy the premium spector pack. I don't even think I'm going to worry about customizing my characters anymore. I just customized most of them before I promoted them this past weekend.

There is a thread on BSN that reveals several new packs from the EU PSN store. I checked the US PSN store and there isn't anything there and looks to be only shown in the EU ver. Anyway, I hope they will have an in-game credit equivalent since all I have left are N7 weapons/perma gear stuff atm.

Plus with the Matrix trilogy, it was clear in parts of the second movie and for the entire third movie that the writers didn't know where to go with the story and were getting completely mired in the metaphysical flimflam. It's not like everything was great until it suddenly went off the rails in the last ten minutes.

Think I'm getting the hang of the Vorcha. I might actually respec to give him some melee love after seeing how I played him last night. Might just toss 3 into Carnage as the stagger/armor-plus damage isn't too noticeable.

Also, for the record, Reegar + Flamer is absurd. I find myself crossing streams, then heavy melee'ing into the fray after building up a few stacks. There's also almost no point to walking as a Vorcha. Dodging around the map gives you a tighter hitbox AND it's a shit ton faster.

Bought 3 PSPs. One of them had two characters! A Batarian...Sentinel and.....Asari Justicar....Oh.

Krysae's up to 7, Reegar's up to 8. Krysae on a Geth Infiltrator is somehow easier to use than the GPS, and now you get a scope again.

Yeah I'd say this is spot on. I remember seeing the 3rd Matrix with some buddies and while we were all a little annoyed at how it ended it was forgotten about by the next day. I'm still hurt over the ME3 ending and I beat in mid-March.

My Garrus, Mordin, and Tali figures showed up, but it's way too dark in this office to get a good picture. I forgot that they came with DLC packs for multiplayer. I'm sure it'll just be equipment though.
got my victory pack last night but no commendation pack, I promoted 5 people over the weekend, hope I don't get screwed
I got both pack last night and I only promoted 3 different class.

DAT N7.

Speaking of, Lively and I played with a dude who had a rating of over 6k last night. He couldn't even do White, it was awful.

still wish bioware came out with something in the vein of battlelog where stats like gun usage etc are recorded. i just want to know how many phantoms i've encountered over my lifetime!

Wish they would add that to the iOS app.

I'll weep tears of joy when I finally max out my Reegar and Krysae. I'm sick of PSPs sticking those upgrades in my face every time I buy one, but deprive me of the Harrier. No wonder so many have both X'd out. Mine are both at VII.

Also took my Crusader for a run with my MQI and I'm not quite sure what to think of it. A split decision between love and hate because it feels like the perfect gun for ability spam heavy classes, but has the worst weight imaginable. Its power is respectable enough I suppose, but when you come one bar of health short from OHKOing a Geth Trooper under cloak on Silver there's definitely some room for improvement.

i think the GPS has 1shots Geth Troopers out of cloak, and 2 shots most other things. Trick is the aim for the head for at least one of those shots. I still like the sniper rifle for cloaking, I'd need to spec longer duration on cloaking to feel comfortable sneak shotting at the cost of the dmg decrease.

The GPS doesn't deserve anything except a nerf gift basket. It always cracks me up skimming through a plethora of "nerf [x]" threads and it rarely receives a mention because everyone knows it's at the top of BioWare's Untouchable List. Right next to Liara, the endings and removing character cards for races with maxed out appearance options.
they still reward character cards even if you've maxed it out because, it comes with XP.
No they reward me with character cards because they ran out of shotguns to X and are unable to give me spec cards

you realize when you roll the dice, all the prizes are character cards and like 2 guns...cause you gots most of everything you an IanK nahmsayin?! When I roll the dice, they keep giving me guns I don't want upgraded. Saber III...meh.

I'll trade you that Saber for my Krysae VII. It's not like I'm going to miss it after they nerf it to the land where Avenger X's die. Oh, and character cards giving out xp is hardly an excuse when they keep boosting those bonuses every chance they get before, during and after games start.

I'm on to you BioWare.

SO MUCH IT COULD BE MISCONSTRUED AS SEXUAL HARASSMENT.

Come at me, Bio. Come.

Alright, I was so irked at my pack contents that I went back in and depleted my hard-earned credits and then spent 240 of my MS points in frustration when I still hadn't unlocked any new characters (what has become of me?). Anyway, I finally nabbed the new male Quarian Infiltrator. Did not try him out yet and might take him for a spin tonight. Anyone use that one yet and have any luck with him?
Baller move to have a nameplate made of your CAG handle and put it up in your office.

Well I don't have a Buttarian yet, so there are eight characters they could give me one of rather than Human Adepts over and over again (if only it was the other human adept)

Love the figures, Ian! I need to get Garrus for my collection and I wish they would give more info o that the Reaper statue that was shown in the winter.

Today was the first time in weeks that I have played. Usually I used the Avenger X is the gun I used the most. I really liked it for the Soldier class. I could tell something was different about it but thought it was just because I started back at level 1 with my soldier and because I have not played in weeks. The gun just didn't seem to pack as much of a punch that it once had and seed less stable even with the stability mod at level V.

Got my VP yesterday; no commendation pack yet.

Krysae VIII on a Kroguard isn't even fair.

Since Rebellion has dropped, I've gotten ONE new character and two ultra-rares. Got the Saber in pack one and pulled a Javelin just now. These odds hate me.

Also, Gear was such a cool idea. Busted out my Drelldept after getting a Commando Package (eheheheh) and he melts even more face now.
Got my VP yesterday; no commendation pack yet.
Same here. Hoping we're not getting hosed, but not freaking out yet. Worst case, we email bioware and they'll make it right.

But, I finally unlocked a Krogan!! Based on the way I like to play, I doubt I'll use him a lot, but this was the only race I hadn't unlocked other than the Vorcha. They're next.
