I'm usually on every night, until my son is born in like 2 weeks
we'll see how much I'm around then
I got 3 girls 8, 4, and 1... it is a shock for a while, but your schedule finds a way to play Mass Effect, or they go hungry and JUST LEAVE DADDY ALONE!!!... sorry.
My littlest ganked my line mic for my headset so i got another one coming from turtle beach so i can play and hear but cant talk until it arrives. My playstyle is heavily favored in either The Tank classes (Jug/Kroguard), or the combo/objective support (Human Engineer, Shadow, Asari Adept), or can go Big Guns (Krogan Sent, DPS Jug, Turian Soldier). Friday nights would work awesome with my new schedule as i have it off forever now. If I am on and playing, i am in. Anyone that wants to play, I am game if I am on to join ya.
I'm working on the weekend challenge. Still need a platinum run for Cerberus and Collectors. If anyone is interested let me know. It wont be till around 3 a.m. Central that I can play.

Geth Infiltrator
Drell Infiltrator
Asari Infiltrator
Edi Bot Inf
Ghost Ing (bored with him though)
N7 Paladin
Vorcha Sentinal
Volus Eng
Geth Soldier
Geth Juggernaut
Krogan Soldier
Drell Adept
N7 Fury
boy that's a lot but a lot of classes I have that hardly ever play

I'm right there with ya, 3 kids. Oldest daughter is 7, son is 5, and littlest is 18 months. It's not so bad, just different. In fact, I definitely play now more than ever. I remember kingdom hearts 2 came out just before my first was born and I thought it was all over. That was silly of me. Playing with your kids can be a lot of fun. Just don't play stuff like gears or dead space. .
Sounds like we'll have a good group together tonight! Way cool.
Sendme, that's exactly what I need to finish, cerb and collectors, but I can't get on that late. I'll be dead the next day!!
I was happy with the Jack content. Both of her meetup scenes were pretty romantic but in totally different ways (emotional and vulnerable in one, killing Cerberus while talking dirty about biotic detonations in the other-- very Jack :lol. I do agree that after games like The Witcher 2, ME3 comes off as downright prudish in its "sex" scenes. I guess BioWare is still smarting from getting singled out on television after ME1. Waking up in bed with your LI after the party was a nice small touch.
I don't know about the other romances, but Ash Sroka (Tali) went above and BEYOND, what was asked of her. EASILY.
I romanced Tali and even though we STILL didn't get to see her face, I'm content with the way they did things in Citadel. She SANG a part of "Fleet and Flotilla" the Musical to me and then some funny comments during the "Aftermath" ("I. am. GOING. TO. DIE." "Keelah, I didn't know you could go through that many toxin filters in one night")
sent out friends requests on XBL for the ME Nerds so we can group up. I think if playing Gold and Higher, I will be more accustomed to running a Jug. Although I want to respec him back to full defense and i of course used my last respec token so will be running him in "flatten everything DPS" mode until i can do so. I think once I get everyone to 20 again, i am not promoting anymore but for a few to make challenges. But i need to get some credits to restock all my damn equipment.
And I think we are all going to have to build Volus Vanguards, pink outfits, with batarian Gauntlets for our Official Bitch Watch Mascots.

FYI many GS stores sell that cord now but it's $15 if you need one in a pinch.
Bitch Watch lol, that's great Chubs. I'm telling ya, if they would have marketed this DLC as, "Some side mission stuff with some lore expanding moments... it, you get all your squad together, get em drunk as , and we had the writers knock out every one liner and poking fun of moments we could muster to give you guys a high five, good game, and honestly felt like that last line was written more so for the dev team than us, although it had a great impact the way Meer delivered. To punch a hole in my man card, when i saw the "Return to Normandy" pop up, I honestly ran around each area and person several times to make sure I didn't miss anything, overlook a conversation, or get a last chance to see them before heading out. This is the power of this game to me, and as many know, has an unbelievable hold on me and spot as part of the greatest narrative of any medium I have experienced.
Some more moments.
Kasumi going through your underwear drawer. The data disc next to the bed with Mordin songs and stand up. Thane's memorial. Zaeed hitting on Samara. Wrex, Zaeed, and Garrus playing SWAT team in the living room. the "I should Go." from the clone and that look of "YAHZTI ER!" he gives Shep. Glyphs Bow Tie. Grunt in the shower for like 50 different lines, many from movies. Actually doing 186 pull ups to beat Vegas record.. anyone else do it? That should have been an achievement. Garrus, "Has Liara always been that... Blue?"
Honestly there are more this thing was so stuffed with goodness. So now, I think we need to get a Gold running group together and work to more platinum, playing with randoms has improved but man there are still some pretty horrible folks out there. We will call it Bitch Watch.
I agree that should have been an achievement, man that was annoying to do but fun to see play out.
Also unintentional hilarity b/c they don't do 2 sets of animations and you see down FemShep's dress 1/2 the time if you have the one from the CE.
FYI many GS stores sell that cord now but it's $15 if you need one in a pinch.
Yeah i saw some cheapy ones on Amazon, but can get 2 official ones from turtle beach for $18 shipped so went that route. I did have another one but accidently tossed it into a package in my last lowball.
Finished up the majority of Citadel last night (finally). This was just pure fun. I feel it was more about how we think of the characters that we have come to know than how they have been portrayed in that past (which is fine with me). Few other thoughts...
The plot was cliche (a clone? oh no!) and the betrayal by Maya was predictable, but I almost didn't care about plot at all. This was about the gang wise-cracking and getting back together for one last caper.
Wrex was more of a parody of a Krogan than the Wrex we really got to know back in ME1. The Wrex we defeated Saren with would never yell, "Here's a present from Uncle Urdnot!" That's the Krogan I have always wanted on my squad though.
Loved this though and I hope it's a sign of things to come in this franchise.
Brooks had a better detailed face, you could tell, and with the wonky animations of yesteryear boy it was off. There's one part where she'll turn her head and look at you, looks like a robot head swivel and then there's a long awkward pause before she says anything lol.
Absolutely. The combat run animations are so wonky.
The facial and body animations that seemed so advanced in ME1 and ME2 are definitely a bit long in the tooth at this point (and especially post-Uncharted etc.). I'm very interested to see what's in the works for ME4.
Alright, where dem bitches at? Getting all my characters up to level 20. Wow, I want Reapers, set Reapers and it puts me into a lobby that says Unnkown enemy. I also love the last minute switch to Platinum or Gold, seriously?! >
lol i hear ya, im listening to Chubby yell and go "save me Simo save me!!" and something about a corner, tears, and crying? hard to tell from the sobbing lol i am pubbing silver and knowing what kaidan felt like lol "I never get picked." I am so ready to be on a team that doesn't have some major suck in it.
Yeah thanks I figured it out tonight. To be fair, it's the same symbol as the tutorial stuff so I just ignored it the first time thinking it was the exact same as the email terminal on the ship.
Yup, that is exactly what I did. Between the terminal in Shep's Cabin on the Normandy and on the command deck, I immediately discarded that icon in my head. I never even read the text underneath it, since I was too busy running around before the party.
Finished up the aftermath look around, the only thing missing was
a little something like a memento for Legion. You got the messages from Mordin and Thane...I wanted my Geth buddy too.
.
Started doing the combat arena stuff, I love that they have
your Mass Effect 2 squadmates and Wrex
. Now I am just working through the challenges, haven't pushed anything hard yet. Only played a few rounds, not getting above 4k, only have the lowest difficulty unlocked still. Any tips for the max score achievement? I'm guessing some combo of the points modifiers and the higher difficulties.
That was a great night of MP! Sorry I couldn't get in a match with Spy, Mason and Worm, but it was still cool getting to chat a bit. well, chat and let you hear me whine about how many times I was going down, ha! I just think it's funny we ran 4 platinums and did very well, all things considered, but got our asses handed to us on Gold. ing bee's on hazard glacier.
And I finally unlocked the Jugg. Which now has me wondering if he'd be viable for gold solo's. Hmmm....

I finally conceded and bought Citadel at the behest of Arikado since he says Grunt has some awesome lines in it. I'm going to play through it today. I'll probably have thoughts later.

Those ing bees sucked hard. Adepts on Hazard Glacier Gold was a bad idea. And I think by that point in the night we had gotten rather cocky.
Chubbs, you made a good observation about Platinum: Once you get past wave 3, the difficulty is rather reasonable until you get to about wave 9; then things get nuts again. I'm particularly proud of our 24 minute match though. That was cool.
Now...anyone have tips on how I should use my new Talon Merc?
Yeah, I don't know why that is/was about early platinum waves, but 1 - 3 seem to be the hardest. After that its just a steady grind. It has to be the mixed factions that come in at wave 4 that mix it up enough to make it seem easier (or something). But still, it's not like they're throwing softballs at us.
I was proud at the 24 minute plat extraction too. Lots of fun!
Haha yeah it was fun but too bad I was leading the backup team. No Platinums for us but we did a few Golds and majority of Silvers. Couldn't quite get a full 2nd group which was the thing. I unlocked a lot more weapons and upgrades and my characters are slowing getting back to level 20.

The BACKUP TEAM?!?! screw that, we were the Leading Rear Support Alpha Squad. But yeah Golds with a level 8 and a level 15 random and my Geth in damage mode and only two could talk... I think we did good for what we had. But we rocked the Silvers with your Turian and my Human Engy, we were chaining tech bursts like the 4th of July.
I think we need to set up some theme runs too. All Volus, Melee Night, All Juggernauts, No Bullet Friday, you get the idea!
I'm definitely in for that. I've been wanting an all Volus crew, and especially an all Volus protector crew, for a while. All Geth has been fun, which is what we were doing for the platinums.
And sign me up right this very second for a melee night. Hemorrhoid the Batarian brawler is itching for a punchfest!!
Don't until Tuesday when they try and fix him. Right now only his Cain mines work but I think they are going to be nerfed to the ground.
Is he not working? I've tried using him on silver and he felt absolutely terrible, so maybe it wasn't my fault.
He is so garbage they are doing a big revamp.
basically in order to make him viable, you have to use strength enhance, melee+, and +melee gear, use all armor pierce arrow, and hover around the ammo box. Either that or just carry big guns and be agile. I have made top score a few times with him on silvers, but it had nothing to do with his powers. For powers it was basically Cairn Mine juggling. After the 3rd place, the 4th makes the 1st one blow, so you lead dudes in placing them on the ground so they point up (reactor hazard) then lead the train in. You toss your 3, then train them in blowing them all to hell and mop up with big guns since you have no cooldown to worry about with all grenade based powers. He takes an immaculate amount of micro managing to be useable and most do not want to invest that kind of time, nor have the consistent amount of equipment to use him regularly. I know I would rather use about 20 other characters that can have much more impact for less investment.
Lol, love it! I'm callin' the Vorcha 4 pack. "You die now."
I played in an all flamer pack once (3 Vorcha 1 Geth) and it was rather amazing how fast stuff just melted. I would also like to see an all area effect human engineer group go tech bursting like Chinese New year with 4 drones out. Turian Soldier marksman with Typhoons... Maybe we will have to make our own weekend OPS since they will be dying out I guess. We can rotate and be at the complete mercy of whichever sick bastard (us) wants to run that day. We can do write ups and everything. Well I would, because I am nerd like that.
