I was just there at lunch. On a large fries and their new chicken sandwiches, you get a Best Buy buck (worth $1 at Best Buy) guaranteed with a 1 in 3 chance of getting a $3 piece. You can use these in-store and online. You can only use up to $3 worth on a CD or DVD, but you should be able to use as many as you want on games. I ordered a large chicken sandwich meal and ended up with 2 $3 bucks and a free sandwich. Good luck!

EDIT:

HEre are the official redemption rules. Other than the $300 limit per visit, I see nothing in here that would prevent you from stacking them on games.

Anyone else having any problems with the online game? I just tried to put in my codes, and they would give Code 000 errors and then tell me that my code had already been used.

I'm really not too concerned - like others have said, most of the prizes bite this year, so I'm not too worried about losing game plays.

if my car keeps running all day today (and i dont get another Selt belt ticket #$#$#$#@#@ ) i will stop again and get 2 fries today... I put in around 20 SASE monday and still havent gotten anything back in the mail... i thought i would got them by now im only 1 state away

3 for 4 for $3, a chicken sammich and 3 large fries. Also ended up with a free medium fry and a small mcflurry, and 4 Illinois Ave.

By the way, my first order I sat in, then the rest was to go. However, I noticed here in Ohio that if the food is take-out, they don't charge sales tax?? Anyone know wassupwitdat?

You, my friend, may have just found yourself a cheapass loophole. The question is how far can you take it?

"I see you charged me sales tax on my X-Box 360 system here, I'll actually be having that to go so you can take that back off"

Ditto - I had about 6 codes to enter, and it fuck'ed on two of them. Cleared my cookies each time before entering each of the other four, and they went through fine. It was annoying, but it worked.

So far with only one chicken sandwich I've gotten $3 BBBucks. not bad. I read on the front page that you can use as many as you want on games, has anybody tried this yet? If so, I'll be eating quite a bit McD's and just put it towards some cheap game. if not I'll probalby just put it towards a CD that's either $7-99/9.99 (did the same thing last year and got it for $5). Not bad for a CD if I do say so myself.

They've always done that. They charge you if you eat on the premises, not carryout. Weird, but true.

I think they tax you for the service, since food isn't taxable.

I really like how it's now 1/3 (supposedly) chance of a $3, instead of mostly 1s and almost never 5 or 10. Seems Like one makes out better in the long run.
I think they tax you for the service, since food isn't taxable.
and the ketchup/napkins/straws you use.

Spending say $50 of BB bucks on a game...YMMV on that I guarantee it. Some managers will let you because there isn't anything in the rules that says you can't.

Some managers will be asses about it though and technically the wording of the rules allows them to deny your BB bucks for any reason.

If I were to guess I'd say they'd be less stringent on stuff like flash memory and non-Apple mp3 players and monster cables (lol) because their profit margin is a lot higher on those than video games.

I wonder if the codes still let you use them once online and then take them into the store and use them again instore and double dip. They've done that the past two times they've had this "game," although I'm sure they didn't intend them to work that way.

Maybe you should actually try wearing your seatbelt then?
I believe they did during a couple of summers in a row, putting all of the chicken nuggets on sale. 9 pieces (still 9 then) going for $1.49, 20 piece or whatever was like 3 bucks. This was also before they did the whole white meat deal.
Oh yeah, 'McNugget Madness'- I do remember that. But it was always a limited thingy.

I hate those stinkin' white meat nuggets. Dark meat nuggets were the best. Now they're all just kinda dry. Stupid white meat...

Ok so as a treat to myself for doing well watching what I've been eating lately I decided to go to McDonalds and partake in this event. I tried one of the premium chicken sandwiches (of course, cause then you get another best buy buck) and holy crap was that a tasty sandwich.

Yeah, I've liked the Ranch BLT even before this promotion and it's pretty much the only thing I get at McD anymore.

I got $4 BB from 4 things. On the other hand, came up lucky with a free breakfast sandwich and burger sandwich!

Going back for more as I told the hubby he's not getting anymore unless we go get more McD. :p
so no one has tried to stack the coupons online yet then...
im waiting till i have at least 30 bucks

What.. how'd I miss that? I've been wasting my time on chicken selects! Better check it out today.

When you are playing the online game, if you get an error code (303 I think) it happens because you typed in the code wrong. I noticed the codes only use zeros and not the letter o. I am sure there are other letters that can be mistaken for other letters /numbers. So just type in the code (with a 0 to o substitution) and it works. Good Luck
If this is legit, here's a great return on investment opportunity:

If it is the real thing the guy sure is not playing it up very well. I think my two year old could make a more realistic picture with photoshop.

I mean the boardwalk piece is totally hidden except for the word boardwalk. Plus winning pieces are suppost to have a 1-800 number and the code on it and I don't see how all that would fit in the little space hidden by the $3 best buy. It is pretty funny that it is up to $255 though.

It is pretty funny though. Looking at the Park Place piece I have in comparison, the blue bar at the top of the piece should not go to the edge of it, as it does on his Boardwalk. Also, there's no trace of the background text that exists on all pieces, or the slanted slits on both sides from the tear-off.

Wonder if he'll capitalize on this. Hmm.

Mine have all used the letter o, not zeros.

holy crap its $910 now!

That's a scam. It doesn't have any white at the top. It's probably cut out of the game board or something. It's already been reported 8 million times, it'll be curious to see if it gets yanked in time

Dave
Definitely cut out of the gameboard fold-out. Scam-a-lamma ding dong.
What makes this so funny is that they made sure to hide as much of the boardwalk game piece as possible, yet had no problem "editing" part of the code for the Best buy buck (the key is a nice touch).

It looks like it was just cut off the game board...but if you look closely, but doesn't it look like part of the train from one of the railroads (look under the "alk" in Boardwalk at the edge of the Best Buy Buck). The Boardwalk game piece on the gameboard has no symbol...that's an odd pointy shadow in the middle of the "game piece"

But...it is up to over $20,000 after 84 bids??? Well, nowhere does he ever state that it is a Boardwalk GAMEPIECE.

Man...wish I would have thought of this...

A part of me half wonders if this was more or less of a "joke" auction, and he didn't intend it as a scam, thinking "Oh...maybe I'll get ten bucks for this $3 Best buy buck"...and it got out of hand.

EDIT: I just refreshed the page It is now back down to 2,900+ and 69 bids...

The reason this will sometimes work is because the people in the store don't actually scan the BBBucks coupons, they just throw them away and do a (for example) $6 price adjustment, like a price match. The key is to write down all of your code #s before using them in store, and if they do it this way, you can then reuse them online.

Even if they are scanned though, the bar codes seem to be the same between each of the Best Buy Buck denominations.

nothing more funner then trying to watch a Best buy worker trying to scan Mcdonald bucks... I remember last year i had like 40 of them and they couldnt get them to scan after the 4th one and she goes

To hell with these #$$#$# i do it by hand...

funny thing is the manager was walking by and wondered what was up... the look on the worker face was just so funny when they found out there boss was right behind them where they said #$#$# out loud

got 2 more fries today won 4 more bucks (1 and a 3)

up to 17 bucks now still got 13 to go to get the Mario Rpg ds game free

These were stackable on games last year... I remember that I saved $13 on Sonic Mega Collection Plus on the Xbox. So yeah, this is pretty awesome.

Been playing Castlevania for a couple hours straight and I'm getting hungry so I might as well make my eating profitable.

I remember when the Mcdonalds/Monopoly game first started some 10 years ago, they just had the board pieces that you needed to collect. There was a problem because all of the major prizes were won in a certain region. McDonalds investigated this fact and found that the printing company they hired to do the game pieces were stealing the winning pieces off the printing press. The employees, in turn, gave the pieces to friends and distant family members, so they could claim them. The so called winners then either sold the prizes or kept them and gave the printing employees money or the items back. Sorry about the long post.

Club Chicken sandwiches are the best! I tried one when I got a coupon for the meal for the price of the sandwich and I thought it was awesome

Uncle Jerry was the ringleader. That bastard.

The Boardwalk piece is fake, the dude admits it.

What I want to know is how many Boardwalk pieces are there? Or, at least, is there more then 1? I don't really eat at McDonalds anymore, but remember last year when I would get a soda or something I would get a bunch of Park Places, so I know there are tons are them.
Actually I just got back from McDonalds and checked out the rules on the board. It DOES mention video games.

The restriction is: YOU CAN'T USE YOUR BB BUCKS ON MORE THAN 3 of the following: CD, DVD, Videogame PER VISIT.

This means that you can't stash $100 in BB bucks and use them on 3 DVDS and 1 game for example. You'd only be able to use them on 2 DVDs and 1 game or just 3 DVDs. On the next visit you can do 3 more all over again.
Or you can go to the next cash register over and buy another 3 items. I did that to get some dirt cheap $5 games to trade in last Spring and this managerial lady got pretty mad and started "informing" me about how I can only use one coupon per visit.

It was the shitty Best Buy that 99.9% of the time doesn't have what I need though... so whatever.

Great. More confusion...

So, if I had a bunch of BB bucks and I wanted to buy a $20 DVD, could I buy it? Or if during another trip, I wanted to buy a $15 CD or a $50 game, could I buy it?

I wish we knew the correct answer:

Maximum $3 discount or not?

Hey, thanks a lot, McDonalds. That was a cool idea to run an offer and then not have the fucking game pieces....

Then again, I went to the one in Naperville, and Naperville is a shithole if you're trying to obtain anything.

Hopefully I'm not the first to mention this, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Do you think it's worth it to support possibly the most destructive global corporation with your money to save a few bucks on games?
