I was just there at lunch. On a large fries and their new chicken sandwiches, you get a Best Buy buck (worth $1 at Best Buy) guaranteed with a 1 in 3 chance of getting a $3 piece. You can use these in-store and online. You can only use up to $3 worth on a CD or DVD, but you should be able to use as many as you want on games. I ordered a large chicken sandwich meal and ended up with 2 $3 bucks and a free sandwich. Good luck!

EDIT:

HEre are the official redemption rules. Other than the $300 limit per visit, I see nothing in here that would prevent you from stacking them on games.
Hopefully I'm not the first to mention this, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Do you think it's worth it to support possibly the most destructive global corporation with your money to save a few bucks on games?
Ugh, who gives a fuck? We're all going to be dead in 100 years. There are at least 100 other potential disasters which could theoretically annihilate the human race that are FAR more likely to occur then whatever ozone depletion or global warming or whatever other socialist wealth re-distribution scam it is you tree huggers are preaching this week. Take your junk science elsewhere, thx.

By the way I don't mean to politicize the thread, but I do in fact think the mention of McDonalds has the potential to do that.

All I'm saying is, try and think about where your money goes and what's worth supporting...if you truly don't care, then that's fine, there's no need to respond...but I thought it should be put out there.

i just lost 2 codes online keeps getting the 0000 code when you go back to put them back in it says code has been used...

i emailed tonight saying its pretty good that i can eat at your place but when i try to use my codes online your system messes up and steals my codes and wont allow me to reenter them... i hope to hear back from them sometime next week.. i asked to have some codes or free game pieces sent to make up for it BUT i doubt they will do anything

cousin ate there tonight and got 3 more fries (the only thing with codes)

all were 1 Best buy buck, also won Med fry, Med extra vaule breakfast meal and a small mcfurlly.....

has anyone tried sending in for the game piece by mail.. if so how long is the turn around

i dropped 5 in the mail monday nothing yet
i just dropped another 25 in the mail today and thinking about 25 tuesday (since no mail monday)

I went to McDonalds on lunch today with a coworker, and also picked up lunch for my boss. Out of the three chicken sandwich combos we got, none of the drinks had Monopoly pieces, none of the large fries had Monopoly pieces, and mine was the only chicken sandwich with the Monopoly pieces... and it was a $3. :)

i think only the large or supersize drinks have the coupons on them (they dont have the best buy bucks on them) you should of went back and complain until they gave your money back or something. I know for a fact if i went in and i didnt get pieces on the food i would bitch about it big time.

So wait, there's no limit to how many you can do for that? Because I'd definitely do exactly that if it works.

Yeah, there's no limit. By the way, it should take at least a couple of weeks before you get your game pieces. It all depends on how fast the people stuff the SASE's, and if you actually get them back.

Well this is what we get while we're at McDonalds -

2x

#5s (Ranch BLT) (I get grilled, he gets crispy ;p)
Supersized

Usually get alot of pieces that way (I think 12 regular pieces if I did the math right).

And today we got $8 worth of BB bucks for about $13.02. So in a way, it's saving money (since we shop at BB alot).
Oh yeah, 'McNugget Madness'- I do remember that. But it was always a limited thingy.

I hate those stinkin' white meat nuggets. Dark meat nuggets were the best. Now they're all just kinda dry. Stupid white meat...
Hahaha, I thought I was the only one who liked the dark meat nuggets. They were much more tender than the white meat. I was always hoping for a batch with all dark meat. Now everyone is jumping on the 'all white meat' bandwagon. Hot dogs have god knows what in them and I still eat them.

You think McDonald's is bad? Giving us heart disease, enticing ours kids to become obese, destroying rainforest for cattle herds, child labor? Maybe you should take a peak at Sony's business practices. Not to mention what Microsoft does. (A great place to find out information is www.corpwatch.org)

I think if McDonalds wants to destroy some rainforest to give us cheaper hamburgers it sucks, but we live in a capitalist world. Money = the right to do whatever you want. If as a consumer I try to save a little money on my video game habit, what is wrong with that? The tweny bucks I spend at mcDs isn't going to affect the company one way or another.

How do you think $1200 for an XBOX pre order impacts Microsoft's bottom line?

Supersize Me is another crock of shit. Yes, eating nothing but fast food is not healthy for you, but for that matter neither is eating nothing but ANY type of food. If you eat nothing but green vegetables over a period of time, your complexion will become to resemble that of the Jolly Green Giant, you think that's healthy?

Well, we all have our little ways of rationalizing things. The facts are there, if you choose to ignore them is you personal decision.
Well, we all have our little ways of rationalizing things. The facts are there, if you choose to ignore them is you personal decision.
What facts am I choosing to ignore? Yes, Mcdonalds food is unhealthy IN LARGE QUANTITIES, as in eating it 3 times a day, every day for a month like Mr. Spurlock did, but no sane person actually eats there that frequently and eats the same volume of food that he did. Supersize Me is more junk science.

In SuperSize Me the guy also doesn't exercise... if you eat only one kind of ANY food, AND DON'T EXERCISE, you will obviously be very out of shape. That movie is a fucking joke.

I just got back from Best Buy. Had $17 worth of BB Bucks to put towards Castlevania DS. Went to the cashier and said "Sorry...I'm about to be annoying and give you a stack of BB Bucks." She said.."It's no problem because you can only use $3 on a game." Then she offered to show me in the rules where it says it and a I told her that it only said a $3 limit on CDs and DVDs. She said.."Well, our management said it's for games, too." Luckily, I was also purchasing a $9 camera case. So I got the case for free and put another $3 towards the game. So, the BB on Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL is a no-go for stacking on games. Next time I'll try the other store in town.

so i am planning to buy an ipod soon, and i already have 150 in best buy gift cards, so would i be able to pay off the rest of the ipod with best buy bucks from mcdonalds?

if so sweet, but whats the chance that they wont let me use them all on one item, is there anything in the rules taht say i can't use them all on one item

i don't want to buy a whole bunch of mcdonalds and go to best buy and they say to only use 3 per item

It says in the fine print that you can't use the BB bucks towards Apple products. So that sucks.

Otherwise, yes you can use the BB bucks towards your purchase, and then pay off the remaining balance with gift cards.

thanks, maybe this will influence me to get a psp or an iriver instead of an ipod

I'm going to get some McDonald's later today to save up some BB bucks to get Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for about $10 hopefully. :D

Like I said, it doesn't matter if our society is capitalist; the actions of others don't justify those of ourselves, and that holds true. If you want your money to go to supporting rainforest destruction, inhumane business practices, animal cruelty, and child-based lifetime marketing to name a few (this goes way beyond Super Size Me), then that's fine, but don't try and justify it by saying "Oh well, that's capitalism." It's your money, and you have to take responsibility for what you spend it on. There's nothing wrong with saving money, but what is it worth to you? Personally I don't mind not saving a couple of bucks on a video game I don't need so that I know my money isn't supporting something like that, especially when it's not a necessity...I can't act 100% in self-interest all of the time.

also mentioned in the fine print is no game hardwares...

Haha, that's funny, because a friend of mine made a photoshopped pic of me as the Jolly Green Giant the other day. :p And I think the film was based off of the outright remark from McDonalds that stated that anyone could live off a diet of McD's food, 3 meals a day if they wanted, and they would stay healthy. So it's a criticism at that remark in an age when childhood obesity is a national epidemic.
You, my friend, are one of the last known moralists.
haha...well i should probably mention that my intention was not to criticize those who don't mind giving McDonald's their money...I still buy products that are destructive in their origins, I just try to minimize it as much as I can according to my personal morals. If one's morals don't match, that's understandable. However, it doesn't mean that there aren't ignorant individuals out there who would act differently if they knew what was going on.

Rainforest Destruction, inhumane buisness practices, and animal cruelty in regards to Mcdonalds are all claims which range from debatable to flat out slanderous. No one is pointing a gun to your head and telling you to spend your money to support Mcdonalds and other corporations, it's the right (or at elast should be the right) of everyone across the globe to spend their money whichever way they see fit and do whatever they want. Who the hell are you to tell me what I should and shouldn't spend my money on, and where I should and should not eat?

another 4 fries today ( not just me : ) all 4 1 buck tickets..

did win another mcflurry and a small soft drink

so

up to 13 items got

got 26 best buy bucks and 5 free food items

probally going to slow down this week getten sick of French fries and might just start sending in the post office

I'm at $18 (5 $3s and 3 $1s) with two breakfast extra value meals and two breakfast sandwichs. I know last year I was able to use $22 in BB coupons online towards a wireless controller, so I hope the same thing will apply this year.

If you wanted the bucks you would be better off sending to the post office instead of buying the food, the food is so expensive and its so nasty tasting that i could never bring myself to eat it just to get money that the best buy store near me would probably insist is only good for 3$ per item.

A lot of people dont know about the options at mcdonalds, you can send envelopes for this offer, in case anyone didnt know you can also order happy meal toys WITHOUT the food, they only charge you about 1.50 or something for the toy, if its something you want its a much eaiser and cheaper solution for collecting the toys, you dont have to eat the food either. With the cost of a hamburger happy meal running about 2.29-2.50 here made poorly and with food i would not put in my stomach and that would probably make me sick anyways the concept of being able to buy toys without the meal is very welcome!

You dont actually have to eat the food to participate in a lot of mcdonalds promotions.

Its really sad that mc'ds is such poor quality, the last time i ate their food i had to spit it out cause it tasted so bad. I would never buy food just to get best buy bucks, the stuff is disgusting, its horrible for your body, and i already weigh enough as it is where i would probably gain tons of weight if i started eating mcdonalds. Ultimatly the grease will kill you or cause you to develop problems with your heart and arteries simply because you are putting so much grease into your body from this food that your body cannot handle all of it. This is only if you are excessive about eating mcdonalds. It is not meant to be used as an every day source of food, its meant to be used as an occasional meal on the go.

Yeah but I'm getting a meal and some money back. Works for me!

I don't think their food tastes that bad at all. In fact their fries are REALLY good. I don't really have to worry about my weight because I'm a pretty light kid, and plus right now I don't need to worry about my health because I'm only 15. :D

Their fries make me sick. Literally sick. I loved them when I was a kid but feeling nauseous after eating something makes you avoid it. Go psychology making me healthier.

I went to McDonalds tonight for the first time in a long time. My McDonalds no longer has "supersize" anymore either it's "make it a large". Tried one of their "premium" chicken sandwiches (BLT ranch). It was acceptable. If it was on the dollar menu I would buy it again. $1 BB buck and two useless pieces. Ah well.

that is IF You get the game pieces back in the mail.. I know last year at least 5 people that never got any of there pieces back.... I sent in 25 and i will probally send another 20 in this week if i get them back I will probally try that route next year .. Then again Im getting close to 30 bucks at Best buy and that was my target..

also since they dont have crap for online prizes this year i can tell you right now i will not spend as much money for the game pieces this year as i did last

Yes unless your local Best Buy decides to not follow the rules and only allow $3 total per game like someone posted a few days ago
