I was just there at lunch. On a large fries and their new chicken sandwiches, you get a Best Buy buck (worth $1 at Best Buy) guaranteed with a 1 in 3 chance of getting a $3 piece. You can use these in-store and online. You can only use up to $3 worth on a CD or DVD, but you should be able to use as many as you want on games. I ordered a large chicken sandwich meal and ended up with 2 $3 bucks and a free sandwich. Good luck!

EDIT:

HEre are the official redemption rules. Other than the $300 limit per visit, I see nothing in here that would prevent you from stacking them on games.

sucks i just got back from running my friend to work and BOOM my back freaking car brakes went out.... its too freaking hard to change the back (i do the front all the time) this is going to cost me 100-150 bucks SON OF A #$#$#

friend grabed a combo meal and gave me the tickets..... no food prizes and just 2 1 buck coupons ... i told them give me the coupons and they wouldnt have to pay for my gas running them to work : )
I just used $11 and got a DVD free
its not really free if u went to mcdonalds just for the bucks like im sure many people are doing

It would probably be best to send in the envelopes as soon as possible, also they might have a limit on how many pieces you can recieve this way, and they may stop handing them out at a certain point through envelopes cause from what i know all mcdonalds promotions are "while supplies last", if the pieces run out you wont get the pieces you sent for.

i think it says in the rules someplace that theyhave the right to put out 5 million more pieces by mail if they run out... but all of them will be 1 buck

yea that's exactly what i was thinking...i'm guessing (and would hope) that most people here don't eat at mcdonald's 5 times a week...

yea if you eat too much mcdonalds you will exploded like that snake did when it ate that gator : )

So if the large fries come with a Best Buy buck, it makes sense to order 4 since arent they $1.50 in most places? Coming out at least even, with 8 Pieces.

if you're lucky....i'm pretty sure that's the preferable way to die from mcdonald's

As some have already said, you can stack them online for games.

I put in $10 worth of codes for the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal in the other thread. :)

Worked like a charm.

sooooo.....who's got Vermont Ave.?

edit: rather, I'll trade you my X'eye system for your Vermont Ave. Pm me ;-)
Even if they are scanned though, the bar codes seem to be the same between each of the Best Buy Buck denominations.
Yeah, you're right, it is now apparent they have no way of entering the online code on the Best Buy bucks in store.
So if the large fries come with a Best Buy buck, it makes sense to order 4 since arent they $1.50 in most places? Coming out at least even, with 8 Pieces.
Large fries are more like $1.79 or $2.00. But even at $1.50, 4 fries is $6.00 and there's only 1 Best Buy buck on each fry. So you could get only $4, or you could luck out and get the max for 4 which is $12. You might get another amount, not sure if they have other amounts besides $1 and $3.

Oh and do what I do. Go with friends or family that don't care about Best Buy, and get theirs. I got a quick $9 this way just yersterday. All I had was a chicken sandwich, no greasy fries for me.

If anyone is having issues with a store imposing a $3 limit on video games, call Best Buy's customer service and report it. I had a store do it, and ended up contacting the CEO's office, and was told there is NO maximum on games and stores should not be doing this. I also am getting a $20 gift card from them for my troubles!

Serves them right.

i just tossed another 30 in the mail today... i cant take eatting their fries any longer. i have ate a large fry everyday since teh game started

i should have 50 pieces come back in the mail and i just won 31 pieces on ebay Though I paid sort of very high for them (paid 56 bucks while it would only cost me around 26 if i did this myself)

i hope my first 5 pieces come back today
Yeah, you're right, it is now apparent they have no way of entering the online code on the Best Buy bucks in store.
All of the $1 BBB's have the following UPC on them:
4 00066 41066 7

All of the $3 BBB's have the following UPC on them:
4 00072 87606 8

The codes on each are different, though that only matters on the website. All the rep does at the store is scan the UPC on the piece, or if they can't, manually adjust the price. They do nothing with the codes.

i got my first 4 codes back today (took 1 week) you get 4 game pieces and 1 best buy coupon for each envlope you send in... i go to the webpage and BOOM all 5 codes i enter into the system (ERROR 00000 please hit the back button) but once you do the online code is no good.... i hope mcdonalds gets the hell sue out of them for this.. they are pushing a game that does not work.

of the 4 game pieces i got back in the mail today 3 were one buck 1 was three bucks.. also won 2 small food items so for 3 bucks in stamps i figure i got around 10 bucks back.... i hope the first 25 i sent in Friday comes back by saturday.. and since they are coming back im tempted to do another 20 to 40 tonight.. i probally end up doing 20 more tonight and that will be it

ooo and about double dipping.. I heard that they have someone working that is checking the bottom codes on the game tickets.. yes the UPC Code is the same but they have a tracking number on the bottom of each Best buy buck... If those are used twice you will be billed for the second time it is used so i wouldnt try it.

Highly doubtful they have someone working on this for every BB store. On the off chance they do, make your in-store purchase for cash so they can't track the purchase. If they link it to your online purchase, tell them you threw them away after the online purchase. No way of tracing both purchases if you use cash in-store.

Good point.

Guess I'll have to pass on my RZ card for the in-store transaction. Plus, I think I'll do them the same day, so that way, it won't give 'em time to backtrack into the system.

When I used $12 worth of BB Bucks on a purchase last weekend, they took my driver's license number. It says in the rules Driver's License must be provided if using over $75 of BB bucks. I hope all the stores aren't being Bucks-Nazis like the one nearest me. There's no way you can douple dip that way, even with a cash payment. I wouldn't want to try it at least. From now on, all of my Bucks will be cashed in online... even if there is a $40 per transaction limit that way. Less hassle.

If the rules say $75 for the producing of a DL, then fuck 'em if they're asking for it on lesser transactions. They can't follow their own fucking rules. Sheesh.

Good stuff, even though large fries cost $2.10 here in San Diego, out of the four large fries that I've bought within the past 2 days, 3 of them had $3 Best Buy Bucks and one had $1 Best Buy Bucks.

I'll keep this up until I can get enough Best Buy Bucks for GTA: LCS or BF:MC.
can the bucks be stacked?
can you read? dude 2 posts above you said:

"Redeemed $30 worth of Bucks today and picked up Advance Wars DS...no hassles!"

Ok, so... you the pieces you send away for actually come with a BB buck too? I know you all are saying this... but I'm finding it hard to believe ;P It seems like they'd just send you the two Monopoly pieces...

Anything special I have to do to get the buck as well, or they send it to everyone that requests?

Ash, who is getting sick of chicken sandwiches and crappy service...

*edit* and what sort of turn around time have you guys seen on requesting and getting them back? It sounds like it's fairly speedy? Forgive me if this has been said before, I just don't have time to sift through this entire thread.
i think im done eating their food after this week.. i just put in the mail 100 envlopes to get 100 free game pieces
Wow, you sure have alot of free time, don't you?
Wow, you sure have alot of free time, don't you?
only took like 4 hours to do. once you get into the swing of it you can get them done very fast...

i did 20 one night , then 30 one night and was bored so i did 50 last night..... was just watching tv and thought might as well fill them out.

What I hate is how they say you have to hand write the envelopes. What difference does it make to them if you print out the envelopes already addressed (not to mention it probably is easier for the postal service to read).

I gave in today and bought a premium chicken value meal. Anyway, I got 2 - $3 best buy coupons and a free breakfast value meal out of it. Hopefully, my Best Buy still has one of the $9.99 Otogi 2s.....Otogi 2 for $3.99 sounds good to me!!

Man, my medium fries didn't come with Best Buy bucks, and I got a Park Place ticket on my pop. I was amazed! I'm one ticket away from $1,000,000! o_O I really want some BB bucks though.

The BBB's don't come on the medium fries, only on the large.

nah i was into it 10x more last year... now if the online prizes rocked like they did last year i would have close to 1,000 game pieces now compair to around 200

It's to prevent people from sending for thousands of pieces, pretty much all of the contests have this stipulation these days. If you were allowed to print envelopes, cost would be the only factor in sending away for the pieces. And since you should make approximately $2.25 in BBBucks for each $1 you spend in postage (double that if you use them online and in-store), it would be a no-brainer, and there would be nothing stopping people from printing their envelopes. I even have access to envelope stamping/sealing machines at work, so would be effortless for me. Needless to say, they would run out of pieces even quicker than they already do.

^^^^ 'xactly. Hand written at least slows down the process and increases the hassle factor to help limit the amount of mail requests.

I did the SASE route for the previous two promos with no problems. Double dipped both years, but I may not this year if they're tracking it via DL. I guess I'll try it out on a small purchase and see what happens.

It's been a little over a week (sent in 10/3) for my first batch and nothing yet. I'm in CA so I would hope that two week turnaround would be about right from CA to OH back to CA.

mcdonalds can manufacture a billion pieces of park place, but they prolly only print one boardwalk piece out each year....

for proof that america's education system sucks, go do a search for mcdonald and boardwalk on ebay. apparently theres a lot of idiots who bids on fake boardwalk tickets even though they directly said that the gamepiece is fake in the description.

and heres a pic of the auction people were talking about earlier since ebay nerfed the auction
Since it is ymmv on stacking them for a game, I wonder if the "system" would accept a bunch of them towards an ipod.
Look at the text online for the restrictions, you can't use 'em on Apple products.

Alright. This game has sucked me in for $24 worth of BB bucks and 125 free prints at Snapfish. I'm done. Time to figure out what to spend it on and then get on the road to recovery.

Can someone explain to me exactley how the SASE's work? What do I need to send in? Can I still do it? I think I'm going to send in a bunch of them later this week, because I used 3 BB bucks on on DVD (Arredted Development Season 2) the other day, so my store doesn't care about stacking them.

Thanks
