MLB 2K7 League is up. ATLANTA, Pittsburg, Toronto are avaliable

Is it possible that we could make the league smaller than 30 people. Like say 24 or something and just forget about the royals, pirates, etc.

Signed up over the weekend. As far as pro vs all-star doesnt matter to me. Warlock I just ended up taking the Angels instead since you picked them first.

I say there should be no preference between batting styles. I personally like classic control and if it's swing stick only, I'm screwed.

Let's get this thing started!
 
I'm also hoping style doesn't matter. I use classic batting and zone pitching, screw the new controls. As for pro or all-star it doesn't really matter to me.
 
I'm getting the game today. Even tough I'm a Phillies fan, I'll have no problem taking a Nationals spot. I played the demo and am quite rusty, though. I'll have to play my way into shape. XBL name is Lemmiwinks531 also.

Edit: Got the game and joined up. Can't wait to play some ball with you guys.

I love baseball and would have no problem trying to take the underdog pirates to the top.

go to xbox live from the MLB 2k7 main menu, then select leagues, join league, press "RB" enter "mlb 2k7 cag" password is CAG (case sensitive) then select pitt.
 
anyone know if someone stole my astros yet? I havent been home yet. Will be online and registered in t minus 3 hrs.
 
How is baseball playing online? It seems like it would be easy for the pitching team to just throw balls all day to strike you out.
Do you have rules preventing this?
Or do you guys have a good enough eye to let the balls go by?

theres a new rule, if they throw a ball at you 4 times...were gonna let you on base for FREE!

Its a problem many people have, even in real life. Many of the big homerun hitters also lead the league in strikeouts every year.

As the fellow Dominican Vladamir Guerrero says "You don't get off the island walking"

That being said, im still not good at this game and im thinking ill end up dead last lol. Still look forward to the season start tho.

and Yes. I'm not sure how the schedule goes though. Do we play everybody at least once or will it mimic a real baseball schedule? (Most games aginst division foes)

It is only a 32 game schedule, so I would imagine everyone plays each other once, plus the 2 extra. Then there is an 8 team playoff in the end. Where the top 8 teams advance. There are no divisions. At least not in NBA this one could be different.
 
So when are we getting this league in...I have actually been putting in some online time with the pirates. And they are horrible. I think Ill be lucky if I win a couple of games.
 
I was looking in the instruction manual and it says you have the option to trade players on online leagues. I am all for it, I just hope that people aren't cheap with it towards the end of the yr.
