Man that's really stupid. Can't Sony just make more codes for it? I really wanted it but I wanted to test out Track Creation first. So much for a pre-order bonus.

The Demo on PSN has the track creator which is unlocked so you can get tracks ready for the full game.

Review copy from Sony.

They did a good job with the custom soundtrack feature, as it pauses during cutscenes in the story mode and continues when the race is about to start. I didn't even know it had the option until I tried to play some of the Shatter soundtrack while waiting for it to load.

Sony will put them all on sale as DLC in a few months... they aren't stupid enough to throw all that work away and know they can make tons of money from people who want to get the other costumes.

IIRC, all the LBP preorder stuff eventually went on sale through the PSN.
 
I played the demo and really liked it, but I don't know if I like it for $60...
Although I do want a racing game on the PS3...

Try Wipeout or Motorstorm Pacific Rift...if you haven't already.
 
Amazon is no longer offering the $10 credit on this game. I am expecting everyone who ordered while the offer was still, um... offered, will receive the credit? It was mentioned in my confirmation e-mail. from 2 weeks ago that I would get it.

I've only ordered one item from Amazon with such a cerdit and it was still fofered up to and even past release day, so I have no real experience with this type of situation.

Yeah I know... just want to see how it works and stuff. I dont want to face another LBP editor. That stuff is impossible.
 
You can make a decent track in a few minutes, especially with the auto-complete feature.

I've seen a few interesting tracks like some Mario Kart tracks, some real-life courses, and some that were made just to help you get some of the trophies.
 
Target had the game out on the shelves... the cashier was nice and was trying to sell it to me.. but his manager wouldn't let him!!!!! damn! oh well, I'll wait till Tuesday. I went back and played the demo a couple more times and now I can say that I'm fine with the controls. I do find that I'm losing control of the Kart when I'm coming out of a drift. I wish that you could just use the break or gas to force the drift like in Ridge Racer. I need to wait till the main game comes out so that I can put the finishing touches on my track... "Track Mountain" I wish that I could reverse the track... cause I like the track that I created but I think it'd be better if I could race it in the opposite direction.

I tried Wipeout, I really didn't like it. I haven't tried Pacific Rift, but I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestions.
 
Can't wait till Tuesday for this. Already have a couple kart and driver ideas brewing in my brain and not the usual iron mans or marios. I'll be paying homage to a show I used to watch.
 
DLC codes should be redeemable now, as I just used the codes I had for the Sackboy mod and kart and the DLC code that GameSpot was giving away on their site.

I think I also saw that the Empire City level that was shown in the Sucker Punch Artist Spotlight video was up for download now in the community section of the hub.

I received my Ratchet & Clank mod code in my e-mail a bit ago to go along with the free Air Raid DLC. The game was scanned in Ontario (less than 30 minutes from here) 4 hours ago, so hopefully I will get it early.

Unless they offered release-date delivery on the title, you'll likely receive a shipping notification today and receive it in a day or three.

Mine, from Amazon, shipped yesterday and it's currently out for delivery so it'll be here this afternoon.

Unless you got Release Day Delivery, then no. It was like $5 more if you did that. You'll probably have it by Thursday or Friday.

I would think so because I just redeemed the Ratchet and Clank, LittleBigPlanet, and AirRaid DLC and you do it from the XMB so it isnt ingame redeeming like the Red Dead Redemption DLC was :D

@nbballard: Amazon exhausted their supply of pre-order DLC codes a few days ago. If you ordered on Monday you're not going to get one.

NEVERMIND, I just got an email saying I got the Ratchet and Clank. I then redeemed that and an awesome COW DOWNLOAD appeared. So I am guessing I got the Cow person lol
