I wish I knew half of the fighting lingo you guys are typing out.
B+3 here, F+2 here, bnb everywhere.
Here's a rundown of some of the terminology for MK. Some of it applies to other fighting games. This is by no means covers everything but should give you an idea.
ATTACKS
FP = 1
BP = 2
FK = 3
BK = 4
BL = Block
You can use either of those to designate attacks for MK. Guardian & I were finding it easier yesterday online/in training to describe combos using the numbering method that originates from Tekken.
Inputs
F = Forward
B = Back
D = Down
U = Up
J = Jump
NJ = Neutral Jump
Generally you see these to describe motions like special moves or fatalities. An example would be Scorpions Spear - b, b+1. You can also use these to describe command normals. Using Scorpion as an example again, his 2 is a simple punch while his b+2 is an overhead launcher.
OTHER TERMS
BnB/B&B - Bread and Butter combo. Generally this describes the most effective, easiest, or "go to" combo a character has.
Overhead = An attack that must be blocked high.
Low = An attack that must be blocked low.
Launcher = In MK, an attack that ground bounces the opponent to allow you to continue a combo. Most characters can do this with nj+1 or nj+2.

I hope this helps!
