I am going to the Altoona, PA CC in a few minutes when they open, I will pick up all the Baten Kaitos's and PoP2:WW's if they have any left for fellow CAG's.
 
I think I will be skipping the CC sale this year. After much deliberation, I really do not see much on the list that interests me. I was considering Rainbow Six 3 with microphone just for the microphone, but I called the CC near me last week and they said they do not have any left. Also, with the next generation of systems coming out soon, I think there will be many more price drops.
 
I feel screwed. After driving all the way out there yesterday I didn't get one damn thing. They had Ridge Racer DS, Snowblind and some others, but not one frigging copy of the two games I wanted most :Baten and POP WW.
 
FYI, the Altoona, PA store is a gold mine they have at least 3 copies of everything, I just got back from there. I did not pick anything up even for myself I have to many games to play and have even been thinking about clearing out my gaming stuff over the summer.

This is what I saw at open at the CC in Altoona, PA on Monday.

I might go back and pick up a few games for my son for his birthday(July 8), but I really dont want him in the house all summer playing games. If I go back over I will post back and take some requests for some games from fellow CAG for cost plus shipping and gas(like $14.00 a game).

Just so you guys know, the listing for KOF:Collector's Edition is incorrect. There is actually no such thing as KOF: Collector's Editions. If you check the website and the title, it displays KOF 2002/2003. This is wrong, it's KOF Maximum Impact: Collector's Edition.

So, if you thought you were going out to CC to get two awesome games for the price of a fifth of one, you were mistaken. You'd be getting one crappy game for about its actual worth.
 
Just got back from the CC in Paramus, NJ. They don't open on Sundays, so today was the first time they opened to the masses. There was just one bin with hardly anything in it. Looks like the employees took the games they liked or someone picked up the ones they liked earlier. I did manage to get 3 copies of Baten Kaitos and a copy of Robotech Invasion for XBOX. I didn't get some of the other games I was looking for, but I am willing to trade some of my extra Baten Kaitos for some of them. Looking for Transformers, Riddick, Onimusha Blade Warriors, and Mega Man Anniversary for NGC. PM me if interested.

I did get to meet a fellow CAG. He also got the last copy of Mega Man: AC. :( BTW I did offer to the people around the bin if they wanted one of the Baten Kaitos I had. None wanted so don't start cursing me for hoarding it. :p

Since I didn't get to go yesterday, I am going to try my luck today. I am thinking I will be out of luck though since it sounds like the hoarders are indeed out for this one. Apparently not for selling, but for returning stuff to Walmart. I can't believe they took all those back from that guy on the other forum.

At the very least, I'll try to hit up a TRU and see if they have SMT:N and a couple other green tag stuff in stock.

maybe they was using them for gift or themself. I seen someone walking out with 2 bigs of DVDS ( i bet at least 50-60 dvds in the bag) so could i call them a hoarder as well

I was going to be there, but I decided I didn't really want anything. The last $5 CC sale was great at the Paramus CC.
 
I got in CC yesterday at 10 am and got the pick of the bin. No one else was there for games when I got there. One person was going through the DVD movies on sale. Then a sales rep came over and looked through the bin with me for a bit. We helped each other look for games. He had a list for someone. I ended up leaving with 15 different games, most of which I would have never looked at if they were not $10 but I figured may as well try it. The best buys were probably Socom for the PS2 (only game I got multiples for since my friends were out of town) so now my friends and I have the headset, Baten Kaitos, and the one and only GTA double pack. The rest were games I had heard were ok but I didn't feel like paying $50 for new.

After about 20 min or so looking through the bin at the local CC (Burnsville, MN) an employee was smart and brought out a second empty min. Another guy looking through the bin and I sorted the games into 2 bins bases on platform so it was MUCH easier to find the games you were looking for. No more 2 teirs of games. The CC guy was one of the nicest most helpful employees I have delt with at a store (same one that helped me look for games earlier). He even came around with baskets for us looking through the bins.

I ended up staying for a while deciding if some of the games were really worth it or not and all of a sudden another 2 or 3 people came in. Looked at my watch, it was 11 AM. Turns out they looked at the website or weekly circular stating the store opened at 11. I only ended up going at 10 since people here said the website may be wrong. I called and sure enough they opened at 10. Thanks CAGs :applause:. One of them ended up being a CAG, the other just saw it in the weekly ad. I ended up helping them find the games they wanted since I remembered where most of them were in the bins. There were 4 of us that left happy in the end and I did not see anyone I would call an ebayer or walmart returning scammer. So all in all a good day.

And a note to the CAG I saw at the store if you read this, drop me a PM. Maybe we can play some Neverwinter Nights sometime.

I was kind of disapointed yesterday after I went out of the way to go to CC and after a 20 minute search of the entire store turned up no bin or rack of clearanced games, and none of the ones I wanted were on the shelf as well. I was debating on whether or not to worry about going back today/later this week, but its just not worth it.

Yeah it's like how Ebgames shipped about 1 year ago (been a while since I ordered from them.) Everything I've ever gotten from CC has been secure and I didn't feel that I had to worry about it based on their packaging.

Don't worry his time will come. Every store has a nice camera in the Customer Service area that gets a nice facial shot of every person that makes a return. Today when the refund audit report prints in that store, the DLPS will be hard at work. :)

Went out yesterday, and got everything I wanted, minus POP:WW. I did pick up NHL 2005, Street Racing Syndacate(or however you spell it), Rainbow Six 3, and Ridge Racer. I am highly considering going to a different CC today to look for PoP.

Thanks demomanTNA, hopefully it won't be a fiasco next time. I'm happy to hear you PM prices for people all the time, and if my CC was better about it, I'd shop there more often.
 
Went back with more money again, got Unreal 2, Ridge Racer DS, and WWE DOR. In the bin, I noticed Rainbow Six 3, with headset. It was with all the 10 buck games, but It was marked 40, on sale!
 
Deal is still on their looking to get rid of all the older games. I wanted that Rainbow 6 with headset but alas they didnt have any left.

Easily Project:Snowblind. I got it yesterday, and it does deserve 8.2-8.6. I am really enjoying it. Contracts was average (Silent Assassin was better), and sudeki was ok.
 
Eh, I just returned my copy of THUG2 for the GC and purchased Psi Ops instead.

I got nearly everything that I wanted. :D My CC still has quite a few copies of almost everything (except for MM: AC, one of my most wanted games ;_; )

I limited myself to only a few games, because I didn't want to start spending $10 just because the games were $10, you know what I mean? Instead, I went and picked up Shadow Hearts: Covenant for $20.
 
My CC in Montgomery,AL I got there a few min after they opened. Had some alright choices, hell i ended up with nine games: Rainbow six/headset, Brute Force, Kill.Switch, Siren, Proj Snow(ps2), KOF:Max IMpact(ps2), Manhunt(xbox), Samurai Warriors, and Baiten Kaitos..
wanted PoP:WW, but none.
Riddick...none.
Snk vs Capcom...none

Everything on the site is sold out...almost everything..Primal is still there.
 
God, I can't believe what I just saw....in the span of 15 minutes at Circuit City, I saw 3 fights break out. Over videogames and $5 DVD's. People yelling and arguing and about to fight....not kids either. I went to go pick up SSX 3, and just my luck some guy took the last 3 copies. Anyway, no big deal, so i'm just browsing around and I make my way to to Gamecube section, apparently the same guy who took all 3 remaining SSX 3's, also took the remaining Baten Kaitos and Prince of Persia Warrior Within, and some other guy was pissed off. He was asking the other guy just for one copy and the guy said no, so he just reached in the guys basket and took a copy of POP:WW and Baten Kaitos and tried to run.....the other guy grabbed him by the shirt and they started a yelling and shoving match. May I add that the guy who was hoarding all the games was there with his young son. Lovely example.

I kid you not, like 30 feet away, these other guys were arguing over Rumble Roses....apparently they saw the last copy at the same time and both went for it, but one guy grabbed it first...man, that was so lame... I just said forget this and made my way to the cheap DVD's. Same f*cking thing.....these fat middle-aged moms are arguing over goddamn DVD's about who saw it first. Jesus Christ, what's wrong with people? I swear, they were acting like it was the end of the world and they were stashing stuff for survival. All this for cheap games and DVD's.

I ended up buying Ridge Racer for my nephew, so the trip was not a total loss. I'm embarassed at humanity.

Well, I didn't expect much from my Circuit City, and I'm glad I didn't. They didn't have a very good selection at all. Maybe I came too late for all the good stuff, but at least I went home with one thing I wanted. The only thing I picked up was Onimusha: Blade Warriors, and I even got it for $5 because I used the $5 off Best Buy coupon!

I did see one lady hoarding all of the GBA games and GBA movies (she had a huge stack in both arms), and there were about 5 people around the bin when I walked in.
 
Well I was trying to avoid spending any money but Project Snowblind reviews swayed me. Headed out to the Landover , MD Circuit City and lo and behold, not one bin. Everything still sitting on the racks. Looks like hoarders didn't care for the sale in this area because most of the games were sitll sitting around. So I got

i just got back from getting a PM on the game i picked up, went very smoothly.

i browsed through the bin and there were a few bloodrayne 2's, a few robotechs, and 1 project snowblind, in case anyone needs them.
