Am I the only one annoyed by NewEgg's shipping these days? Free shipping used to be their standard 3 Day, not this EggSaver shit. Now they're as bad as Amazon with their slow ass free shipping.
AFAIK there is still Free 3-day shipping on a lot of items; I figured they must have added eggsaver to have another FS option when 3-day wasn't really feasible.

I bought Kameo for $9.99 about a month ago, and when I received it, I could tell it had been opened. The packing was there, but it was loose, and the security sticker was not as "stuck on" as it normally is. When I put the disc in the 360, the console just recognized it as a "data disc." I took it out, powered on, tried again. Same thing. I called Newegg and they gave me a refund without me even shipping it back. I just reordered it so I hope it's an okay copy.

I also ordered House of the Dead 2&3 Return for $16.99. The game worked, but there was a huge dent in the case, as if it had been stepped on. Newegg refunded $5 back to my credit card.

I'm getting to the point I don't trust Newegg with their discount games anymore.

At least they provided decent customer service by refunding and giving you a discount. They have been good to me when I have had problems. I got my copy of Eat Lead and it was near mint. (The shrink wrap was scratched up but the case and disc was new and sealed.)

I also got a crackdown that looked to be reshrinked, and infact I'm pretty sure it was. However there was no scratchs on the discs. One copy had a slightly beat up manual while the other was good.

When Crackdown first came out didn't it include free Halo beta invite codes? I'm thinking it had something to do with that.

Either way probably not going to complain considering they already gave me GRAW2 for free awhile back.

These were also regular copies and not platinum hits. I'm pretty sure now that they were opened to remove the Halo 3 Beta codes.

It is not a code, the beta was on the disc.

Well that decides that. They were re-shrinked, but I wonder why? Cuz theres not a single mark on any of my discs, just the manuals were damaged.

Bought PDZ, PGR4, and RS:Vegas.
PDZ was platinum hits sealed, PGR4 was sealed, RS:Vegas was reshrinkwrapped but looked new.
Received games within a few days, standard free shipping.
Satisfied, and will probably buy more.

Also recommend Shadowrun, which I already own.

This prices are spoiling me.
Used GF prices aren't looking so hot anymore.
Almost never go to GameStop anymore.

Yea, most GFs were used, but I enjoed them anyway.
:p

Just bit on 7.99 Dark Sector.
Another nice rainy weekend game.

I recently picked up ME, Crackdown and Blue Dragon

Mass Effect was platinum hits (GOTY Edition), factory sealed
Crackdown was new, factory sealed
Blue Dragon looked as if it may have been shrink wrapped, but everything was there, the case, disks and manuals were in mint condition.

Haven't encountered any problems with Newegg thus far, hoping it continues :bouncy:

Oh, and the free shipping was fairly speedy, each one took 4 days to get to NYC

Since I saw it added into the OP, my copy of Crackdown was also definitely a re-seal, however, it also still had the MS seal and looked to not be opened; but just re-sealed (I ordered mine about a month ago).
dark sector is a steal at that price..

yes its akiller price. I just love those kind of killer deals ? screw retailers out there. enjoy

If you are looking for nostalgia or just never played it, the original Call of Duty PC was added for $7.99. Its the cd-rom version, but then again, I'm not sure there ever was a dvd version.

Edit: My bad, should have scrolled down more. The box set of Call of Duty PC with the expansion is available for one more buck! $8.99. Still CD-rom, maybe there never was a DVD version.

That's only for games, if you order anything that has some value to it with free shipping it's 3 day UPS.

ALL copies of Blue Dragon are shrink wrapped. There's something about the way it was made with all those extra discs where they didn't Y-fold wrap it for some reason. My preordered copy at Gamecrazy was shrink-wrapped as was every copy I've seen since then ;).

New copies of Lost Odyssey are the same way.

Not true. The first run of Blue Dragon was shrinkwrapped. The second run uses standard Y-Fold wrap. Target is the only major retailer where I have seen the Y-Fold version, as well as my local indy game stores.

Alright, well I shouldn't have said all. But I've seen copies at several retailers and they have all been shrink-wrapped so I thought it was that way across the board. And like MrNEWZ said above, Lost Odyssey (with its 4 discs) is also (usually, if not always) shrink-wrapped. I just see this pop up a lot on CAG where people think they have been getting reseal jobs when in fact most of them come this way - so I just wanted people to know they are most likely legit!

My copies I got from the Blockbuster clearance for $9.99 are y-folded. I have seen other copies that are shrinkwrapped. Dont know why the difference in sealing them though.

Oh wow, I've read some reviews for it, and it just sounds HIDEOUS in every possible way. Like it's supposed to make the LAST game look good, and IT was supposed to bad.

Nothing can prepare you for how abysmal LSL: Box Office Bust is. Imagine the worst Adam Sandler movie that you have ever seen - but playable.

Two Worlds is now $56.99. Hah.

Thanks for that one, Newegg. I needed a little pick me up to get me through the rest of the work day.

Circuit City also had the Y-fold versions.
Dead Head Fred PSP is down to $7.99. That's a lot of game for eight bucks.
Haha, I almost ordered this when I saw it on here this afternoon, but couldn't quite bring myself to hit the button. Then I stopped by K-Mart while I was waiting for my car to get an oil change after work, and found it for $5.99. Score!
I just made my first purchase from Newegg. I bought Project Sylpheed and Zoids Assault for $19.98. Free shipping and no tax was nice.
Received both items today in good condition. To my surprise, on the back of the Zoids manual was a code for the downloadable paint schemes which if I recall correctly was a preorder bonus. :D

I found that out as well and was very happy. I have played both games, and for the price, I really like them. I really think Project Sylpheed is a very underrated game.
