NFL 2007 Season Thread

Wow, looks like Dallas just coughed up the ball on the one yard line. If they overturn this call the Lions should riot Rodney King style. They've been manhandled by the refs all day. There were two huge pass interference no calls in the first half.

Nevermind, I guess Dallas isn't challenging.

Fall on the ball son! Trying to be a hero and it might cost them the game.

Edit: Betcha that Detroit player is sitting all by his lonesome on the bench right now.

1st series, Dilfer throws INT for a TD runback.

Thatta boy Nolan.

I can't stand this team anymore. fuck YOU NOLAN fuck YOU

It did cost them the game and me my fantasy football first round playoff game thanks to that last second Tony Romo TD pass :bomb:

My opponent has Romo too, looks like the end of my season seeing as Carson Palmer had the worst game of his season and Grossman went out in the 1st quarter.

However, we should do a CAG Fantasy Football league next year. I'd be willing to throw some stuff up for prizes. Anyone else in?

that was seriously bad judgment, up 6 points, less than a minute to play... and you try to pick it up and run.. wtf

I would be.

Eli Manning has been so bad for me the last few weeks I nabbed Garrard from Jax to start my game today. I got pretty good production from him (21 pts) but the rest of my lineup has underperformed and Romo getting those late TD passes was the backbreaker.

I'd go in for a CAG league next year. I didn't do it this year because I run one league and play in another. I didn't think I'd have time for a 3rd.

Ya, Marion Barber had a great game but that doesn't make up for the rest of my team either.

I can organize it next year.

Good god where oh where was this Vikings team earlier this year? 17-0... and they ain't showing signs of stopping.

Oh, and to all you Pats haters....

THAT MOSS TOUCHDOWN IS FOR YOU!!!
Oh, and to all you Pats haters....

Thank you Mr. Moss!

Steelers take the lead.

*edit

No they don't, haha, that's what happens when you're not really watching

Okay when will the "Vikings running up the score" bitch fest begin?
I think that B.S. only happens when its the pats.
Were you always a Patriots fan?
Have been for a few years now. I was a casual fan since 2001 but became a big time fan after the Pats drafted Laurence Maroney last year.

I figured you might've started liking them as they picked up Moss. I met another Vikings fan who likes the Pats specifically because they picked up Moss.

Good lord I am getting murdered in my FF playoff game. Everyone that my opponent has are scoring like mad and my team is playing like crap. Moss, Romo, Engram, Jax D, T. Gonzales, all are just kicking me in the junk. I'm down 65 - 114 any my team is pretty much done (had to start Kolby Smith for the Chiefs due to injury, I doubt he's gonna go off for 60pts in the second half).

Hmmm... if the Giants are locked in at the #5 seed with 3 to play maybe they should start resting people since 1/2 their team is banged up.
Anthony Smith garaunteed what!? 2 touchdowns in less then 2 minutes. Are the Pats back?
The Patriots went somewhere? Oh yeah, they ONLY won the last 2 games. Man, must suck to BARELY win NFL football games and BARELY be 12-0.

Why? I've been a Vikings fan all my life, and I HATE that dirtbag.

He likes the Vikings and the Pats, that's why I was asking. I didn't really understand that person's logic but I figured maybe someone else followed it.

That last play had to help you a little bit. Just 5 more of those and you'll be ok!

lol its true. When your a spoiled fan you always expect greatness from your team. I know the last 2 games especially the Baltimore game was amazing but I was just saying its good to see them back to their showboating ways.
Why? I've been a Vikings fan all my life, and I HATE that dirtbag.
Why would you hate Moss? He did nothing but good things for the Vikings, and never asked to be traded. Randy Moss turned the Vikings from Mid 90's Wild Card failures to Late 90's/Early 2000's NFC contenders.

Agreed. He should really be hating Gary Anderson, not Moss :D

Why would someone hate Moss... Hmm let's see he basically quit on his team saying that he plays only when he wants to.
Why would someone hate Moss... Hmm let's see he basically quit on his team saying that he plays only when he wants to.
It's been how many years, and people STILL don't know the REAL quote. He was asked about needing to be motivated to play, and he said no, he plays when he wants to play, meaning he doesn't need anyone to pump him up. Funny, the guy has 19 TD's this year, is a Hall of Famer, and people still bitch about him "taking plays off". I would much rather have him not block on a running play all the way on the other side of the field, and then, on the very next play, catch an 80 yard TD. But hey, that's just me, you can have your Hines Ward types, who PLAY EVERY PLAY, and who also can't put up numbers anywhere near Moss's

MUAHAHAHA,

The announcer to the Pats game just said the funniest thing to me.

After the fight he said,

"Well if you notice after the last incomplete pass the steelers were talking to Randy Moss. And what can they say but...Hey your having a heck of a day?"

:applause:

Its strange to me that people still see Randy Moss as being "the ass" of every team. OAK is a horrid team. A team he didnt want to be on and a team that will never do anything. He basically didnt want to lead a team of people who didnt want to be lead.

There are certain teams in the NFL that will kill your career. OAK, DET, MIA (apparently?) so why try to place your hardest and risk long term injury for a shit team?

Its amazing how someones attitude can change when a person feels like they are around people who actually want to succeed in their business.

The guy is obviously motivated to play at NE as you can look at his stats. Plus how much Randy drama as there been this year? None. So give it a rest.

13-0 now how bad will it be if Miami beats us when we are 15-0 and they are 0-15.. I think I've turned ito the typical new england fan always think of the negative...

^^

typical? The typical Pats fan usually flaunts their team in front of all others. See the majority of posts from Pats fans here.

This game is already over. Once they were stopped on the 1 yard line, any hope they had dissapeared.

In other news, the Packers got over their loss to Dallas 38-7 :D
Guess who was there to give them a motivational speech --> http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7544592

I'd be motivated to play as well if I had the best QB in the league throwing me passes, that's also why there's been no drama.

How we talk to other fans and how we talk amongst ourselves are two completely different things.

I think Randy might break Rice's TD record even though Rice got those 22 scores in just 12 games because of the strike that year. When is Rice up for the hall? I don't think another wideout will ever enter his neighborhood of dominance
