Actually Yes. Attempted murder is just as bad as murder, the consequence is not but the intent and act is the same; It carries the same culpability and deserves the same punishment. Also in every criminal law system in America they are punished exactly the same so it seems judges and legislatures agree.
Nobody has ever proven that any other teams cheated (all are baseless allegations) moreover NE did not pay any heavy price for it! The financials were negligible and the draft pick!? Please! These teams coaches and players in the NFL are role models and what message are sending to youth that says "You can cheat in a game, get caught, and still win." I thought cheaters never win, I guess they do in the NFL.
Cheating is worse that attempting to cheat because cheating actually ocurrs. Murder is worse than attempted murder because someone is actually murdered...
I hope you meant to say that no team has been caught videotaping, because many NFL teams and players have cheated.
A first round pick can make or break the average franchise, ask Cincinnati, Detroit, and Cleveland among others. Bill Belichick was fined $500,000 and the franchise was fined $250,000. Those are incredibly large fines.
You're right, I'm sure little kids hate having to look up to guys like Tom Brady and Tedy Bruschi. The Patriots franchise is full of such bad role models. Everyone should just follow Tennesse and look up to Adam Jones, or San Diego and Shawne Merriman. Or better yet, everyone should just become an Oakland fan!
Speaking of messages to kids what would Ben Roethlisberger's be? "Motorcycle helmets are for fags!"?
The videotaping rule is a bunch of crap anyway, the defensive signs are in plain view for anyone to see.
